Did you know in the Jewish religion there are witches and they are well revere. So much so at a jewish gathering for Gaza -- the person who was running the march thanked the witches for they will help save the world. All witches -- I said to a friend what did they say what I thought they said? She said yes -- I said wow I was meant to be here if only to hear that -- it was the most peaceful rally, walk that I had ever been too. I've been a peacenik and wiccan almost my whole life.

@@scratcheds60062 agreed, I'm a male of the path and I hold my athame to the moon each month, I call to god and goddess the same as any woman of the craft, why can't male and female be joined as children of our patrons under the same moon giving the light and blessing?
We're women before we're men in the womb. Women are the vats of creation in this physical realm. No one wise believes men and women aren't equal but we're just coming out of a long, long age where it was commonplace to think they weren't.

We feel the cycles of life all months, men cant do that. Not the masculine ones, the ones more connected with the feminine energy can. You have to experience being a woman to feel it, sorry I cannot be clearer.

On yesterday evening I was waiting for the bus and listening to chants as I usually do. The bus station was empty, which was odd, since the station is often full of people.
I noticed the Moon, a beautiful maiden shining brightly, and grey clouds surrounding it.
The Moon was so beautiful I couldn't help but stare at it, even though some people came to the platform I was at and looked at me weirdly. The Moon sent goosebumps over my back (those good ones, you know. ) I felt the energy.
I noticed that the clouds seemed to fade away when I was staring at the Moon, but they always came back when I looked away. This movement happened quite quickly.
This song started playing from my playlist and I started quietly whispering the lyrics.
The clouds started fading away very quickly, I felt like the Moon was listening to me.
When I got to the bus, I took a last glance at the Moon and it was almost covered by the clouds.
People may call me crazy, but that situation was very magical to me and definitely helped me with my wiccan/green witch path.

Tonight the moon starts her new cycle, for the first time in my whole time I've been in my room, I've never realized that she has shined her light upon my room, until tonight, when I heard the news about the eclipse, I rushed to find her, and I kid you not, I was disappointed because I wasn't able to find her from my house, I went back to my room, only to be greeted by mother moon herself as she slowly began the new cycles, I teared up in excitement as I see the process took place, I didn't even realize I was crying until I feel the tears roll down my cheeks.

How can describe this? I really can't but whenever I listen to our pagan maidens chanting to the gods and goddesses of olde it feels like home, I transcend reality and join the Aether
I've always felt a deep connection to the moon. As a kid, I remember looking up at it and feel like I was seeing it frown with me if I was sad, and smile down at me when I was happy. Whoever I told that always laughed at me, but even at my age now, I still feel the same way and see the same.
This is truly beautiful. An old folk lore lost. I've brought and bring my kids up and around these old ways. No shame.

I live on a mountain in Western N.C. On August 17th of 2019, as I was driving home on our dirt road, the road have way and me and my Jeep went downn, rolling two times , almost two hundred feet, until a very sturdy pine stopped our decent. I was found and it took an hour for the volunteer Fire Squad to cut me out. After carrying me back up the mountain to the road, the ambulance took me to meet the evac. I am terrified of flying. To calm myself, I kept humming and lowly singing this song, for the ,25 minute helicopter flight. Thank you so much for creating this chant. I reckon you don't know how many people you have helped. I was Pagan/Wiccan for years
I had become Catholic and I still feel compelled to listen to these wonderful songs and all the memories of casting circles and spells come back to me...
One specifically was a Samhain ritual and I couldnt believe what happened
Where most people would be scared I was happy.
When I called each individual tower or corner.
Something pertaining to a specific one always happened
For example
I called Air, the wind blew and swirled around me
When i called Fire, the fire I had grew bigger and the heat went around me
When I called water, the river near by rushed with quite the speed and smashed against the banks and when I called Earth I felt the ground shake.
It was my back yard and it once belonged to an small tribe of indians mind you its not a place thats sacred but a sensitive said some spirits of the indians that were there are still there...
I know having been to RCIA I thought perhaps what I was doing was evil...
But ive found that combining both belief systems is quite the combo.
Why be at odds with yourself?
If your drawn to Christian and Pagan beliefs work with them both...
Stop driving yourself mad.
Plus it gives you a good excuse to stay out of school though thats not the only important thing...

(i wasnt the one to practice witch craft) but my parents found out and destroyed my room looking for all evidence and throwing it away. i told them 'you cant ask me to change who i am." they ruined all religion for me when they said ''yes we can." im an atheist trying to believe again. its hard after 7 years of believing gods or goddesses wouldnt let that happen. i dont think i ever can again.

I know what that is like. My whole life my father didn't want me to know anything about my mother's side of the family. I started seeing things in dreams as an early teen and my mom slowly started to tell me about our family tree. Denied it though whenever my dad was around. It wasn't until I was 17 that Wicca took place strongly in my life. Followed my heart in the ways of the Goddess since. If it is a path that is meant for you, you will know. Your past doesn't define who you are today. And if your family loves you, they will love you for who you are and who you will be. :)

My family doesn't know that im pegan my mom was into being pegan we I was little then my grandmother told her thats the Devils way and to be catholic so my mom's catholic and im pegan I do go to church with her but I hate it...so I know how you feel not being able to worship what you want to...
