    Videos like this one are solid proof that these guys are very talented mechanics and fabricators. Using new parts and making the shafts between the joints shorter, and it would be crazy to see!

    This could become a fad, like those huge exhaust pipes on show cars in Japan. They have a whole scene about that. Next up, how much drive shaft can you expose and how flashy can you make it? Paint? Tape? LEDs?

      I'd love it, but torque = N*m so the more the meters the more Newtons you need. Basically the opposite of giving your car more power which will turn down many people.

    That propshaft does circles around conventional propshafts. They gave that Lada the shaft at the end though.

    Awesome project!!! Love it!!! At least in my English speaking part of the world (im not sure about others) when you say “prop shaft” you are only referring to any application where a PROPeller is being used. Plain, boat… the phrase used for what you built today is a drive shaft because it is not connected to a propeller.
    I love the vids so much and am grateful that you have any translation at all.

      It's still called a prop shaft because it *propels* the car, so while it isn't connected to a propeller, it still performs the same function and it is still correct to name it as such.
      In British English it is known as a prop shaft, a drive shaft in British English refers to the shafts that connect the drive wheels to the output side of the differential.

    It's a lada long shaft with a spinning lada mohawk, not your normal deth trap. That thing is awesome. It looks awesome and must have ben a pain to build

    I like this this idea ! However, I would like to see this rather large accessory shaft perform some kind of work, in addition to it's primary function. Some suggestions : A butter churn, an ice cream maker, a musical instrument of some kind, a bubble machine, etc. 😄
