Really nice Shaun, I built this kit back in the early 80's. I am about to start building again after a 24 year hiatus, really looking forward to doing some models during the winter (relaxing). ;)
Mario MariaMario I used 2 effects. Dry brushing and chipping, although chipping was a bit fiddly to say the least. I ended up just scratching the paint with a toothpick after applying chipping medium. Sorry if that doesn't help I'm only a beginner modeller.
Mario MariaMario You paint the base coat, grey in this case. Then apply the chipping compound and then paint the final colour pink. Then after wet the top coat with water, wait a bit then scratch the pink off.
mine is in progress....goodjob and keep on building buddy!
Your work is just great. I'd like you to watch my versión of the Same model, and please give me your opinion about it.
Splendid job, Old Chap!
Great Job!

Put the model in the sun light and will be bleached to a dessert "pink" . Thank you .

Great job! How did you create the "scratched metal" effect?
