- The Tamiya S.A.S Land Rover Pink Panther. It’s pink! That’s great! I just wish I could use the Pink Panther theme song as background music. Oh well. I had fun with this, and it’s a pretty good looking model.
This is an older Tamiya kit, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s quite nice, I’m sure you’ll agree… Especially considering it’s from the 70s. So it’s even older than me (and I’m OLD)

Lots of details to paint.
I’ve sat in that vehicle. Used to have it at the Museum of Army Transport in Beverley, now long gone. One month we had a good half dozen of the beasts being looked at in the workshops. The pink was a mix of red iron oxide used by ships and RN grey paint.
I remember being a reenactor at the opening of the museum.
I had planned on getting this kit but I am definitely going to do it now, such a useful video (I'm a beginner and I like pink.) Did you end up painting this? I'd love to see how you painted it
I haven't painted it. I'm thinking of painting the land rover radio conversion I did though.
Looking good!! I am in the process of building this kit and fit is nice. The pink plastic, though for me, is quite bright under the lights!! I am looking forward to getting some paint on it.
