    If I used an official CAD platform like SolidWorks (parasolid) or Alibre (ACIS kernel), could I pass it back and forth with Plasticity to do all of my surfacing here and move it back into a CAD program with drawing functionality?
    PS if you ever had CAD Drawing functionality added to Plasticity (biiig move), you'd probably dominate entire sectors.

      Yes, you can use it much the same way one would repair dumb solids in NX or Rhino. You can model and then constrain later in more expensive software, so long as you're willing to adjust to a less traditional workflow.
