Exactly, he must be using drop in the bucket as well. That's how he's able to shoot so well. I mean, come on, Glock 27 at 230 yards? That's just testament to the effectiveness of drop in the bucket. :p

C LeSaca that's because he is a great shooter...lets face it, not everyone can shoot like some of these guys do and never will. it takes a ton of practice, patience and you need to have someplace to shoot. today, everyone wants to be a pro the first time out. Its like anything else, playing a musical instrument, painting, building houses... natural talents only go so far, you still need structure and practice. pros still rehearse and practice, Sometimes daily! That said... I wish I had a great home range, companies sending me guns to test and make videos of and a seemingly un ending supply of Ammo...lol Hickok45 seems like a great guy who has a great life if you ask me, and yes, that good ol' boy can shoot! lol

Well I'm retired LE, was on the Pistol Team, I used my Glock Factory sites, on qualifications I average 246 247 out of a score of 250 being Perfect. Weather like in the video saying drop in the bucket basically the same as sight alignment trigger control the guns are designed a certain way you just have to learn and like he said practice practice practice !!

Took me half a box of ammo to figure this out the other day. The sight picture at 1:49 that is why I was digging holes in front of my target. Stupid me, was leveling the top of the front sight post with the top of the rear notch, just like you would with most any other handgun. Nope! Have to ignore the top of the front sight post not being flush with the rear notch and focus more on that "drop in the bucket".

Great video! People who think they'll shoot better by changing out components usually just need more range time. Although sights, I'm my opinion, are the only safe and acceptable modification to a stock Glock. Nothing is wrong with a tritium or fiber upgrade, but when people start messing with springs, firing pins, plungers, sprickets and flux capacitors, timing gets thrown around and usually off. Getting back on track, stock sights will hit the bull, but can you?

I watched a youtube clip with 2, 2A lawyers talking about IF you ever did shot/kill in self defense, their Lawyer will bring up all the Mods you did to your gun and why? The sights, the trigger, the springs, etc...and then ask why buy that gun if you had to do all that work to it. It might turn the jury against you. something to consider

Great video! The only thing I would recommend is changing the front site to something that allows you to see the front better. The drop in the bucket sight picture is great but focusing on the front site is sometimes hard to do fast and in different light situations. A good highly visible front green dot really brings the "drop" out and allows you to focus faster. The back sight is amazing. That's my two cents.

I love stock factory Glcok sights; I'm EXTREMELY accurate with them. But I like having night sights on my handguns.
When I put my first set of night sights on my G23, after having factory sight on it for 11 years, I chose TruGlo TFO's. My aim with those was for shit.
I purchased a G19 a year ago and decided to go with Meprolight Tru-Dot's, since they basically have the dimensions as Glock Factory sights (Mepro also makes the Glock factory night sights). With the Mepros I was right back on target. I promptly went and bought a set for my G23; no more accuracy issues.

So all I got to do is put the drop in the bucket? When I put the drop in the bucket the top of the front post is a little higher then the rear posts. But if I were to line everything up like a regular pistol about a 1/3 of the dot is cut off. I’m new to Glocks. Thanks for the info just clearing it up

I think it would be beneficial to the beginner shooters to loosen up when giving a class. You tend to remember more of the instructions IMO. "Just tap it in"!

Scratching your head with your gun on the short 'sights development video' looked very effective n satisfying. Lol. I loved it!

Thank you just what I needed to know with my new glock.
Im practicing! Drop in the bucket got it.
My glock 23 gen 4 new out of box and 23 round clip eats ammo like a cow in the pasture.
Also any target stand recommendations? My glock turned my target stand into spaghetti.
Also thanks for the cool video, many gun videos are too booring!
    You are a pro!
