Rebounding is not only good for circulation but also the lymphatic drainage which alleviates edema! Cleansing the body with a fasting regime is also worth doing. A recent product I've bought and yet to try is the compression leg massager for the thighs, calves and feet with a heat source for the knees! This should ultimately help with the painful leg and thigh cramps. Another good thing to do is to lie on the floor with legs against the wall at a 90 degree angle for at least 20 minutes before going to bed! This can really help with a lot of health issues!

At 65 several years ago I was experiencing some edema in my feet and ankles. Not scary enough to go to doctor but I cleaned up my diet, almost eliminated sugars and the edema receded. Still came back once in a while when I was on a sweets binge. Goes away as soon as I stop sugar. Dissected aorta here and ended up with lots of spider veins...docs insist it doesn't mean anything and nothing to do to stop it. One of those 'wait until we can do a procedure for lots of money', things. I continued to decline with no help or suggestions. Felt like I was dying. But I found an new diet and just switched to a carnivore diet less than a week ago and woke up today and am feeling so much better! I'd suggest anyone look into the carnivore diet and hopefully start before your body is screaming so loud! But as long as your breathing it is not too late, lots of good info and videos about how sugar and carbs are the source of most illnesses. Be well.
[edit to add this info] I just found out that besides the sugar and carbs that feed illnesses, cancers can adapt from feeding off sugar and carbs to glutamine. Sounds like intermittent fasting, or extended fasting (they gave examples of a 10 day water fast) along with the carnivore diet may be able to starve cancer cells.

Rebounding helps for sure, but to really get to the root cause, it is vital to stop eating sugar, grains, processed food, and vegetable/seed oils. For many a ketogenic or carnivore diet has helped reverse spider veins, and some have even reported varicose vein reversal. High levels of blood sugar really impact the spider veins in legs, as well as the small veins in the eyes, etc. That’s why diabetics often have eyesight issues. Lower the blood glucose and the insulin, as well.

She looked at it, and thought for a few seconds, then replied, I don’t know. I don’t have edema, so I guessing my liver is doing good. I eat as clean as possible. I have waited for someone with a brain to tell me what to do. Because I know eventually it will get ulcers. I worked nursing for a while and have seen it. And it never seemed to get better with medical intervention. Thank you for finally giving me a path to follow. Now it’s on me. I move a lot, as I have raised two families, and have a small farm. And all I ever hear is it’s something that lazy overweight people get. I’m overweight, but I’m also 61, and gained a lot before I caught on to the deadly SAD we are pushed into caused this. Add:
Coconut oil (healthy fats, potential metabolic benefits)
Garlic (immune support, various health-promoting compounds)
Citrus fruits (in moderation; excellent source of vitamin C, but high in histamine)
Acerola (potent natural source of vitamin C)
Unpeeled apples (more fiber and nutrients than peeled apples)
Water (essential for overall health and hydration)

Turmeric (high in oxalates, potential contributor to kidney stones, inflammation)
Spinach (high in oxalates, potential contributor to kidney stones, inflammation)
Pumpkin seeds (high in oxalates, potential contributor to kidney stones, inflammation)

i will cross off the list of chia, flax, and spinach, they too much oxalate, it means kidney stones. I tried to limit but decided not to eat those. I stay away from any sweeter, sugar, honey, sweet syrup stuff. Im a keto diet and will continue for the rest of my life. Many ppl sit for long hours at work or at home. So, I use walking pad treadmill and wireless earbud then watch tv when Im walking on treadmill at the same time. It really helps me to get off the chair or ending up like potatoe couch. Just need to move around alot and do more yoga or stretch body to help circluation flow.

I have a blood clotting disorder and have had nine DVT blood clots since I was 15 years old and I’m 61 now.
In the last year, I have cut out the seed oil and cheap carbs. Eating
A very clean diet with it being organic and fresh vegetables, some fruits like pineapple and berries and apples, citrus, drinking lemon and lemon liver cleanses with a hot lemonade drink. I was drinking every day for six months lost 40 pounds they don’t want to find it back.
I have taken horse chestnut for over 30 years. There have been short periods of time where I’ve taken myself off of it, but I have been on it pretty consistently. I use a couple of different products for circulation and leg vein health and it does help with a heaviness Was wearing compression socks consistently for over 10 years but this last DVT I can’t wear them anymore. It was causing more problems and grief. My legs have somewhat accommodated the fact of not wearing compression socks anymore. I’m very careful with trying to make sure I take better care of myself.

    • @missyperry9510

The veins that are treated collapse and dissolve, but new ones are always appearing, that's the nature of vascular disease.
I've been doing sclerotherapy on and off for 35 years. I didn't want to end up like my dad with swollen discolored ankles and gnarly ropy veins.
Because of sclerotherapy I have none of that.
A lot of the outcome depends on the doctor's expertise also. I've been to many clinics over the years in three different states. Some were great and others not so much. I can't even begin to imagine what my legs would look like now without sclerotherapy.

For clarity, we all have genetic "tendencies", however, that doesn't mean you "inherit" diseases/illnesses/syndromes.
If you eat the way your parents/family does, if you live in the same stressful environments, if you have the same 'habits', if you follow the same routines, etc., etc., etc., if you never make healthier changes/choices then, yes__you most likely will develop the same or similar health issues.
Epigenetics have a more prominent affect on health outcomes than most realize.
Re: sclerotherapy, it most certainly can be a helpful/effective intervention__glad it's worked in your favor. 💖🙌😺

@@debracisneroshhp2827 I follow a lifestyle that is a 180 from how my late father lived.
I don't drink or smoke. I exercise regularly and I eat nutrient dense food and I still got my dad's veins.
I am pretty much in perfect health for my 66 years because I did not follow his habits because I did not want to end up like him. I go for sclerotherapy a couple times a year mainly to keep things in check. But my CBC, blood pressure, A1C, weight....all in optimal range.
My father was severely burned across his torso while serving in the Marine Corp during the Korean war when he was a 17 year old kid. He spent six months in a body cast in Okinawa recovering. He was on multiple medications for the rest of his life and he didn't follow a good diet, etc. It's complicated, he suffered poor health, he sacrificed a lot for his country. I inherited his veins, but perhaps I also inherited the good health of his grandfather who lived to be 98.
I get what you're saying, but it really doesn't apply to the veins I know I inherited from him, perhaps a conundrum.

The only good thing that did come of all the testing is that they confirmed I'm positive for the BRCA1 Fanconi Anemia variant with a specific sequence that indicates current cancer treatments are obsolete for me. Fast forward; I've had a complete hysterectomy, bilateral masectomy and reconstruction as preventative measures. Now , I need to tackle losing this weight since fat also increases estrogen which can lead to cancer in women. My legs have and always are the issue. Now that I have a handle on nutrition and exercise; I'm greatful for your feedback so now I can incorporate the suggested supplements and food products. Thank you. Thank you, thank you! ❤

Do you recommend red (or perhaps, yellow) light therapy to heal skin dis-colorizations and fibrous tissue on the lower legs caused by chronic venous insufficiency?

Red light therapy can be very beneficial! It’s a good way to detox the skin and bring about healing to that area! -LGD Team

It's possible! You’ll want to support a healthy inflammatory response with omegas from chia seeds and flax seeds. Citrus fruits can also help with blood and lymph flow! Check out this article on varicose veins: drlivingood.pulse.ly/ggp6t8nnnk -LGD Team
