Agree...no doubt the many constructive comments posted after the first three interviews had something to do with it. This guy is a genius. I've followed him for 6/7 years by now, I'm just getting surprised every single new vids I see. He bring vintage and rare guitars in the spot, on tour, and the guitar community can't be enough grateful to him
Joe seems to be the nicest, nerdiest and yet coolest collector out there. I knew this would be a great episode right off the bat. And after talking about the first guitar for what seems like fifteen minutes before even opening the case, I knew I was right
I was fortunate enough to see him in the wild checking out a 355 in my local store. The dude is a monster - I don’t mean that in a bad way- he loves this stuff and actively chases it. Pretty cool and an amazing collector and musician.
I'm left with the feeling that Joe would happily give the same tour to anyone who shows an interest, just because he loves the role of custodian so much. The '55 hardtail strat is the most gorgeous strat I have ever seen. Something about the burst and it being a hardtail. Thanks Mark and Gibson for doing this. By far my favourite episode!
I have always appreciated Mark and his knowledge of guitars. He was the main reason I started watching videos on RUclips. Joe is the absolute BEST and I listen to him just about every day. By far my favorite! So talented and down to earth!
Aside from the wonderful collection Joe has amassed, it is very heartwarming to know that there are collectors out there who do it for love of the instrument rather than for the willingness to flip it for the love of money. Cheers...
I am not fond of his music, but do recognize that he is very talented, smart and educated, I have always enjoyed listening to his stories and free knowledge about guitars. Hope to have more of this soon!
