      Hey, M. Lou 🤗 💝🌿, I checked one more time and found my recipe. September 8th. A little patience, You need to scroll down and find Your second comment, so there it is, right under Your second comment. My dear M. Lou, maybe You already tired of me, but I'd love to know, you got it. 💖

    • @M._Lou
      @M._Lou 3 года назад

      @@elenaskrypnikova3472... Elena, thank you so much, but I could not find it. I looked under all my comments on that interview, but the recipe does not appear. I am sure it is there, but that RUclips must have "ghosted" it by making it visible only to the person who posted it (you) and to no one else. You would have to sign out of RUclips; then look to see if the recipe shows up when you are signed out. RUclips always makes replies & comments visible to the commenter when signed in, but they are not necessarily visible to others. The only way to find out if that is the case with your recipe, is to sign out of RUclips and look for the recipe again when signed out. If you cannot see it, then RUclips has "ghosted" it. That has happened to me, in fact on that very same comment that you mentioned.....about ads. I had replied to one of the people who replied to my original comment, and my reply was "ghosted". LOL I guess RUclips didn't like my reply! Or maybe the channel, who knows!

    • @M._Lou
      @M._Lou 3 года назад +1

      @@elenaskrypnikova3472... It is very frustrating when that happens (RUclips "ghosting" a comment), as the commenter has put so much thoughtful effort into the comment. I am never tired of you asking about it, Elena, because of course you want to know that I got the recipe, and you deserve to know. If it is never visible to me, I still want you to know how much I appreciate your thought and effort. ❤️

    I’m glad they managed to get at least one good car story in there. I get the impression that Billy Gibbons is always happy to talk about music, to talk about guitars, actually he is very generous about talking anything with anybody, within reason. But he is never happier than when the conversation involves a really interesting motor car! Also want to say its very nice to see someone as accomplished as Joe Bonamassa being so respectful of the great man, even though they have obviously been friends for thirty years. A privilege to have been a fly on the wall for this conversation. Great RUclips content.

    Thanks for this one Joe and Billy. So many great references to the same artists and instruments that influence me to this day. My gear selection took a different rout. My first amp was a 64 Princeton non-verb that I slightly, permanently borrowed, (stole) from my cousin? ;P He wasn't using it anymore.
    My best friend bribed me with some herbal things and cash to go to Cleveland to buy a 66 Firebird 7 a month after I got my license. When he plugged it in to my Princeton I knew why he wanted it. That's why I got my 76 in 83. I still have it today.
    Learned on a 70's used Squier Strat that was blue, so I bought it. ;) Always loved Stratocasters just because of the curves. Didn't hurt that Buddy Holly, Dick Dale, Hendrix, Beck, and Clapton used them too.
    The National reference goes far with me. Don't have a resonator, but I have a few original Supros and Airlines. A couple Danelectros, one modified by Dan Armstrong, and a 64 Twin Twelve amp. ;D
    R.L. Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, John Lee Hooker, Junior Walker, Robert Johnson, Muddy, Pinetop Perkins, they all work for me. ;)
    Playing a 1960 National "Dwight" right now. One pickup can work it it's a good one!!!:D

    Excellent interview with the legend. So cool having a guy like Joe who plays and knows the history asking the questions. Billy's sound on Waitin' For the Bus changed my life by bringing me much closer to the guitar than I had been, and I bought my Les Paul because of him and the ZZ sound. 😎

    This was such fantastic talk between 2 legends of blues guitarists fame. And I just missed Billy and ZZtop in my hometown of 11,000 at born and bred music fest.in Pryor ,ok. Sept . It made me sick as the tckt. price was like more than than my 3 previous ZZ top concerts put together .I'm disabled on SSI. With everything so high.now. but I remember first time I heard ZZtop was either 1974 or 75 and a 18 yr old teenager that worked in my dad's garage gave me a 8 track tape I said that sound is so unique and cool. It was a ""TRES Hombre " tape. I was hooked man, and I miss ZZ top going to concert grounds about 4 miles from where my dad's garage was . The people who bought my dad's garage turned it into a convience store still there across RR tracks west side of Pryor ,ok. I was 15 I'm 62 years old and Billy still Cranking it out. Was so SAD of Dusty's passing. What a deal he wanted Billy and band to keep going . They could put out the sound for such few people in a group. It's what is Still Amazing . My heart still bleeds til this day. Man RIP Dusty. And Billy still crank it up.! I am still great fan and I never owned many records besides ZZtop. Only a Boston ,Ted Nugent "strangle hold"orange color fold out album,Steve Miller band fly like eagle, foreigner ,3 eagles albums , a foreigner "double vision" and 4 ZZtop albums ,4 ZZ 8 track tapes 2 cassettes , 1 greatest hits CD. That's it my whole collection maybe couple others . Oh forgot 1 "KTEL" hits mom got us while in high school . Could had gotten Beatles black and white album from my cousin if hadn't burned up in a house fire. That sucked album wort a lot today. But we didn't have much money living on farm them days. But we manage to have a little fun at End of the 1970's and Rocked on into the 80's when I got to see some Rock gods finally ****"That's seventies best made Rock and Roll Ever !!

    One of the most surreal experiences of my live music life involved Rev Billy G. He was billed as performing at an event here in Newcastle Australia couple of years ago in our beautiful civic theatre. The night started off with a blues cover band playing a few songs before Mr Gibbons joined them for a few tunes. They couldn’t get the song key right and he was getting pissed of. After two songs he sat down on a lounge onstage and answered a couple of audience questions. Then he got up and wandered offstage. The cover band kicked in and that was all she wrote. Next minute the audience starts to get cranky when they realise he’s not coming back. Beers started getting pelted onstage, abuse was shouted. Poor cover band guys copped it. Majority of the audience refused to leave the venue demanding a refund. Cops were called. A real crazy night.

    Joe is so humble, he is one of the greats up there with Gary Moore, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Im from UK and love the 70 guitarist icons of blues and rock we developed from the old Blues cotton fields in the US.I miss Gary Moore, for me Joe replaced him for me to listen with same passion of the blues. Great guy and fantastic quests on his show, really interesting as im a drummer, musician.

    The story about busking and nobody paying any attention is just heartbreaking. If legendary players like these guys cant get any attention on the street. I have almost stopped playing guitar in the last few years for just this reason. Nobody cares about music any more.

    The right stuff at the right time? This is the point why Billy is better than 98 % of the rest. His solos are so interesting and pure gold to my ear (70-80's typically). Too many albums on 21 st century have so so songs but guitar is still on a great level. Billy sure has created a vast amount of amazing solos. It's not about crank it up and show off. Bluejean blues. Enjoy and get it on. Going down to Mexico.

      It is easy to play the licks. But to play melodies that move your soul and the audience are golden. No matter what level you play on if you don't connect with your audience your going nowhere as a musician.
