We Helped Prevent A Disaster On This 6.7L Powerstroke

Today in this PSC Automotive youtube video we had a customer come in needing a fuel pump. so after doing the pricing the customer figured it would be better off to spend the little extra money on a fass fuel system for his truck. The problem is not the fuel pump that destroys the fuel system. It’s the CP4 pump itself. The roller lifters rotate in their bores and the CP4 grenades itself and takes the entire fuel system with it. Your customer really needs to swap out the CP4 injection pump with a DCR from S&S diesel to truly prevent the entire system being destroyed. Seen it happen way too many times and the cost is over $10K to repair the truck properly.

@@hankf616, agreed. I don’t own a 6.7L ford but i replace a lot of those CP4 pumps. I always tell my customers to upgrade to the DCR and not one has had any complaints about the conversion.

this guy already said he dosent work on the trucks hes a office guy so no he probably thinks that fass is the cp4 solution 😂
