Thanks for the video, it really helped me, it was very easy after seeing your demonstration. I just found a plastic bag that was making the noise, so I removed it, cleaned and lubricated the fan and it works perfectly and quiet as new. Many thanks (-:

Hello, I have a polo 6r with climatronic and since this morning, no blower at all (cold or heat) while climatronic seems to work correctly.
Do you think it could be linked to this blower? And another question what is resistor for?

@@DFCGarage trying to locate the resistor, and the polo I'm working with has climatronic. I removed the glovebox and the resistor is not there. You happen to know where is located ?

Hey ! My VW Polo 2015 fan blower doesn't work on 1. It works on 2,3 and 4. I changed the blower resistor but still doesn't fix it. Will it be the fan blower that i have to change?

Currently battling here with fan only working on 4th speed, already changed resistor and still the same issue.. help anyone

So my mechanic said it was the circuit breaker, so he ordered and changed it and told me this was a common issue with this model - the circuit breaker is not blown but rather melting and that is why it is still working on some settings. Now it works perfectly.
