Nice video and presentation. Bang for buck-L. Luthier, Cool Factor- Orange Anue nue, Big wonderful sound with room to play- Chris Perkins. Yep! I bought it right after this viewing. Impulsive and excited at the same time. Hurry and ship before I change my mind... LOL.. Not changing my mind. 🙂
Great selection of tenors! They all sounded great. That Perkins is INSANE!!! Despite all the innovation on display in this video though I'm always taken by just how good Kanilea's sound. That KPA-T might have been my favourite of the 10. Looking forward to seeing what they put out for their 25th anniversary next year....
Your selection of ukes is always interesting. The orange lion stands out as a special addition to anyones collection. Keep up the good work, and take care of the hand.
L.Luthier Le Maho would be the one I would give a try! Price is good and the sound fantastic. To bad I don't live near your store! ;) Thanks for that nice video. Very pleasant and informative.
Green and Blacks😂😂, fave comment. Got to love the K brands, the Chris Perkins is totally different in looks and sound, don’t think that will be around long. Favourite for me has to be the Phil-T, such a nice wood choice and build. Unfortunately just can’t stretch that far at the moment. Phil, 👏👏👏👏 thanks for the great playing. Thanks guys have a great weekend.
You have such a great selection of ukes I live in Hawaii on my island just don't have the selection of great ukes you offer the ukulele site truly has a great selection different island but that redwood miller for the price really caught my eye
The L Luthier is an absolute steal at £500 especially for international customers! The Kanelia of course sounded great, I’m still in love with my Flight Carabao which I think gives a lot of these Ukes a run for their money. Great video 👀
Love the L.Luthier. Like to try it here in The Netherlands but did not find one yet.. Don’t really like the looks but it sounds great. The snail S60T has the looks and great sound..
It might be a lot to ask given you've just featured the UT-200 and the Lion in this video but I would LOVE to hear a side by side comparison of these two next to the new cedar bird you've just got in, while you have all three in stock. Pretty please? 😉
Beautiful Ukes 🥰 I really liked the sound of L.Luthier and the two K’s. The Moonbird is always something special. Perhaps one day….. For the moment, I am thrilled with my sweet Lion, which reached me last monday. I am soooo in love and waited for months 🧡
The 🦁.. but I already have one. I’ve never actually tried a moonbird and I thought it would be similar but it’s totally different (in an also good way). Of the Ks, I like the Koaloha - nice sound and unfussy look 👍
I'm surprised not to see any Romero Creation there, Tiny tenor or Gran Tenor could compete i believe based on their quality, sound, and price point. Don't you think?
@@SouthernUkuleleStore Such as UT200, the snail, or Millar models also genuinely featured several times. I was just concerned about the title of the video 10 Best current Tenors. I think they still sould fit perfectly in the selection. However thanks for your work i'm a big fan of the channel!
greetings… love watching your reviews… You have experience with all ukulele brands…. So, a question: If you were going to buy a tenor ukulele for yourself, and your price range is 1100-1500 dollars, which one would you buy? ciao, John
Have a gander at our most recent videos where we compare the L.Luthier ukes of the same spec with and without offset soundholes... see if that helps answer your question?
Hi Alex I hope you don't mind me contacting you,but you are a skilled Ukulele player, and also you are clued up into the latest info regarding new releases onto the market place. I am 75 in March next year, and i have been playing the Ukulele since the first lockdown,on and off. I have bought and sold many Ukulele's over the past couple of years, but i had to stop playing for a while, because i developed "Carpal Tunnel" Now that it appears to have subsided,i have fell in love with the Flight Pathfinder. It truly is a stunning looking instrument, and i can purchase one from Amazon for £187.01,which is about the right price for me. Unfortunately, after sending Flight an email, they told me that they have had interest in making a left-handed version. I wonder if you have heard anything in the pipeline Alex? Kind regards Lew Price (York)
Hi Lew, They will be making left handed ones and we have been involved in the process.. Sorry to hear about your carpal tunnel. That's nasty - one of the guys at the shop had the same.problem for a while I'm not really sure what your comment about amazon accomplishes. You do you my friend but maybe try not to deter people from buying from specialist retailers or else we will all be jobless in a few years. 😅
@@SouthernUkuleleStore Thanks for your reply Alex,i will wait for a left-handed one. I don't know why i mentioned Amazon, maybe it was the price. Once again Alex for all your help, and who knows i could be buying my left-handed Pathfinder from you! Regards Lew.
why no enya ukuleles. they are some of the best made in my humble opinion. to listen to the ukuleles that are being played on this video. sound only as good as what you are hearing it on. cel phone computer etc.

AnueNue Lion is my personal choice, such a noble sound with good definition! Thanks for the video!
Lovely to hear Phil being put through his paces, sweet playing.
I got a Cordoba Tenor that has a beautiful sound as well!
Whoa! The note separation, expression and tonal range of that Perkins model are amazing.
I have to say, the Chris Perkins does sound sweet!
Love them all. For where I am at now the aNueNue would be perfect !!

Lovely presentation Alex...👍

I have a Snail S60-T, the one with the pattern up the middle of the back. I love it. So happy with it.
Me too
The Chris Perkins uke is amazing! It is my favorite.
The snail and the lion were my favorites. But they were all delightful. Great demos as usual! Thank you.
Love them ALL ❤️❤️❤️
Chris perkins and Lion were my favourites with the L.luthier not far behind!
although I didn't think there was an enormous amount of difference between the 'Moonbird' & the LION

A basic Kanile'a or a deluxe Big Island
KALA is supposed to be coming out with a lower priced ($299 US) all mahogany doghair model. Are you going to be getting those?
We have had them already and featured them on social media a while back. It's a good uke... Should be getting more around Feb.

I ordered an Enya concert and sent it back because I didn't care for how it sounds. Met a lady at our uke group who had the same experience.
