Yessss! Love these sprawling multi uke comparison videos. Lots to love in this selection. Hard to pick an outright winner but that mango KoAloha sounded particularly delicious!
Alex, 3 of my ukes were recommendations from you, so undoubtedly, I would purchase any of these ukes because they all sound amazing! I do own 4 of these brands, and I wish I could have more!! If I could choose a favourite, it would be the Rebel Double Creme, it may be the way you played it but it felt like it was serenading in my ears! Thanks for sharing, cheers! ✌️
I cannot believe the good old backyard mango tree could produce such a superb sound. Here in Queensland Australia we have mango trees by the thousands. I can feel a chopping coming up.
The best bit about mango trees are that they have a natural fruit bearing lifespan... A sustainable option with lots of character and doesn't feel like a copout.
I have a fight TUS35 travel and a Duc380 basic but both complement and pleasant ukuleles. But the advances Flight has made in the last two years to develop high quality models is amazing and I think unique amongst the big semi custom manufacturers. That really keeps me interested and in giving flight a look before all others.
Thank you so much for your great videos! Your reviews open the whole world of various instruments I want to play (which is a bad thing too, cause the space of my apartment is still limited :)) I only whish I had access to buy them. It's so hard to find them in my country
I failed at the price game! For which the recent discounts are only partially to blame. ;) As for the instruments, there’s some I find incredible. Love those Millars, but I think my next instrument will be mango, which is entirely down to you. Talking of which, I spotted the new Ko’Aloha long neck soprano in the SuS store. Maybe that’s *the* top end uke I’m saving up for. But I “need” a baritone first…
Thanks Alex another interesting comparison video. I like the Millar uke's and was wondering about the way they tie the strings, can't remember any other brand doing that. Do you know why ?
I think it's purely a cosmetic/practical choice... I've seen maybe 4-5 different methods over the years. I personally don't think one method of tying s string would be more beneficial than another.
Yes we are. You can pre order it on the website and they are due in about 7-10 days. There is a giant banner on the front page of the website for the Peter Moss signature or you can find it by searching his name.
No, we have so few coming and our waiting list was getting out of hand. As they are coming in a week we are insisting people pay in full now to keep things moving along. There is a chance 1-2 will make the website next week.
Very humbled 🧡🧡🧡 and I do really love that Fireball!
I just bought one ! Can't wait for it to arrive!
9:39 you took the words right out of my mouth, "so schön! "

These are all gorgeous. And now it’s time to do the same for concerts! My favorite is the mango Koaloha for it warmth and sweetness.
Woah the sustain on that Miller!!
The Double Cheese just stood out- minimalist look, maximum sound projection!
I love my Double Cheese!

The Rebels and the Koaloha have way more punch in the trebles, closely followed by the Millar mango. Fingerstyle player's delight.
Cool, I didn't play a Millar mango uke today 😄
These flights are growing on me. 🙂

The miller TA 260g sound harp like, beautiful. Will you be getting any in store soon?
Yes. It's worth contacting the shop to go on our call back list about millars as its pretty random what we receive each time. 🙂
