I have a L. Luthier le koa. I was playing another ukulele, (that I paid over $500 for.). My wife asked if it was better than the L. Luthier. I said, "No! The L. Luther is incredible!"

I do love these end of year videos makes me feel Christmassy.. I adore my Flight Carabao and it's my number 1. In at number 10 though - wow, that Coast Live Edge - it's an absolute stunner. I really love your song at the end too - I think you played it when you introduced the Carabao, I really enjoyed hearing this with the lyrics too. It's so nice.
They all have beautiful voices, but I drew a heart next to the Manu Hu! Then Flight Nighthawk which sounded as sweet as bells ringing, Third was Flight Carabao. Thanks for a fantastic video!!

I own a concert version of the Uma sc Evo 30! It really has a warm mellow sound and really great sustain that you might not pick up in this video! Great for it's price
Really tough choices. Liked both Millars equally. The Flight baritone was very nice but the Manu Hu really wowed me. Brilliant as you Brits say. Best of the season and HNY to all you all.

The price point goes a long way to even them out, although I do love the sound of the Cedar Bird best. Looking forward to the purple Uli, though - just because!
I am enjoying the test drive and info on each unite. I tell each new person I start with on ukuleles to go to the store test drive and have a owner show you the how it sounds , touch them play then get what you like and hear. Thank you.

I needed to order 2 Enya EUT-MS from a big box distributor here in the U.S. due to shipping issues. No local shops stock Enya. Both arrived on the same day, and both had the fret boards separating from the body. I wish it didn't cost so much to ship to the U.S.

I have watched and enjoyed all your videos Alex and look forward to 2023`s offerings. May I suggest a video of ukes for people on a strict budget of say less than £150, I would particularly like to see your take on the Kala KA PWT which i have recently bought from my local Kala dealer.
Thank you. I made a video for beginners Concert Ukuleles upto £200 a couple of weeks ago. I take your suggestion on board though. We don't actually stock the Pacific Walnut Kala's by choice. Apologies
Alex is the concert easier to play. I have a tenor and find I just can't do bar cords or cords that I have to but one string and stretch a fret and place another.
If stretching is the issue then yes. It's harder to tell with barre chords as many people struggle to get used to doing them as it requires more hand strength and practice. Is your current ukulele set up? That's also a factor

The Uma solid acacia (EVO) is definitely one of the best valued ukes!

What about the ukes at The Ukulele Shop in Kapaa Kauai Very lightly constructed, more resonance than other ukes If only I could afford it.
