For all the small-handed people out there: For what it's worth, nut-width and hand-size don't necessarily correlate. I've got rather small hands and short fingers, but I much prefer a 37/38mm nut width because it so happens that with a 35mm width, the E string falls right into one of the creases of my index finger. Plus there's more space, which really helps when you play cramped jazz chords. As per usual, trial and error :)
I enjoy your videos; adore your humor. My personal favorite with sound was the Kala and it was te most beautiful, too. You play so well. Very talented gentleman.
And I started on concert, tried a tenor and went down the soprano road. The smakl size really fits me and I love its punchy sound. However, playing melodies is more fun on the tenor.
Can you please do a show on tuning Ike’s to 5ths tuning? I am considering a tenor tuned to octave mandolin tuning like I saw some videos of. Thanks! I have been watching your videos from AriOna USA

It’s becoming more difficult to make a decision Alex… thank you for this selection…
Wonderful selection of tenors and great video as always! Love the t-shirt too!
Thank you kindly!
Looking forward to the Kala Doghair Baritone version . . .

I know I shouldn’t choose a musical instrument based on looks, but that Kala dog-hair is such a temptation.
I bought one a few weeks ago, well worth the price. The quality goes beyond the looks.
@@chrislabish thanks - that’s very much worth knowing, though it doesn’t help my temptation.
Steady on, that's Alex our presenter here 😂

Great reviews...I'm sure many will find it very useful Alex. Would you mind doing something similar for 5 string tenors now please 😉
I'd struggle to find 5 to make a dedicated video 😅
I'm Biased, I know.... But that S&P Doghair is just different gravy !
I have the Kala doghair it's very nice with good tone...
My personal favorite is the Kala Supertenor with almost baritone scale and tenor body 😊

You're a good salesman Alex, I really like the Snail.. but it's not long since I bought my Ohana Concert from you. 🤔
As 'affordable ukes' video would have helped if the price was mentioned please
Look at the links in the description. Prices change, the information about the ukuleles doesn't so I rarely quote a price in a video.
Any news on when the Kala Dog Hair s&ps are out in Baritone?
Nope
Couldn't find the Snail SUT-M1 on your website, only the M2 which is electric. Is the M1 out of stock Alex?
Yes sadly the M1 is out of stock at the moment. Hopefully we have more coming in a couple of days.
just by the looks i kind of like the enya. i wasn´t really looking for another uke and i should stop watching these videos...
