Hi! I was writing down your formula when I realized that the Vanilla, Roman Chamomile and Sandalwood are not 100% pure essential oil. Could you kindly inform the percentage of Vanilla and Roman Chamomile in the Jojoba? Thank you.

Sooooo refreshing after the 98% of presenters being pretentious or staid, and never EVER themselves! Great concise directions and formula, too. Thank you so much, Evelyn. ❤
I haven't tried this particular DIY yet, but I've made my own perfume. After MANY failed attempts, and a few successes that didn't quite flatter me (a floral scent, and another floral scent with citrus notes that were given as Christmas gifts, and were loved!!!) I came up with my own scent. I used moonshine (180 proof) as my alcohol base, because it's not an oil roll on, though I'm thinking of using my nourishing blend of oils I've customized to help with my crazy dry nurse hands.💁🏼 My notes were cedarwood, white musk, pine, vanilla, and... A top note I can't quite remember? Something grassy! It reminds me of forests and old books. It has a musky library in the woods type of feel that is just so calming and adventurous! Feel free to try this combo, I can't be the only earthy scent loving person here! 🌿💚
Wait! Let me just say this is the most fun I’ve ever had watching a tutorial. Further, the video is 8 mins long soooo.... THANK YOU, THANK YOU! for not talking my ear off the first four minutes about nothing. You got straight into it boo!
Girl you need to win an Academy Award for your style! LOVE IT!!!! SO GLAD I FOUND YOU!!!! Love the idea of the dried flowers. I have a show to do in a few weeks and this will look great!!! Liked, commented and subscribed!!!
An easy way to figure out the ratio is to divide the total number of drops you need by the total number of parts you need. So, since 2+1+2=5, divide the total number of drops by 5. Then, multiply that number by how many parts you need for each oil. Example: 40 drops of essential oils/5 = 8, 8x2=16. So 2:1:2 would be 16:8:16 as stated in the video. Example 2: 120 drops/5= 24, so 2:1:2 would be 48:24:48. And so on.
I always sucked at math!! Lmbo. I'm just gonna get the same size bottles you have and copy your ratios Lol. In other words, I'm just gonna cheat!! Great idea and I will be trying!!!
Math is my strong point, but even if it wasn't, your explanation is really clear and super visual. Gathering my supplies now, I know what I'll be gifting this year. Thanks for the tutorial!
@@Evelynfromtheinternets Hi and thank you for this video!! Would this ratio work for Sensitive Skin? Also how long does the scent last before having to reapply it again?
I think I may have watched this before but when searching for essential oil perfumes I found it again. I love your personality and how you explain the process very thoroughly, it makes it goof proof. Now I just have to figure out what essential oils to use.
So I'm tired of my terrible work environment and trying to start up my own business. I love perfumes so I decided to come on here and find a way to learn and make my own fragrance. Do the flowers effect the smell of the essential oils? Do they dilute the smell of the essential oils or do the flowers make the smell stronger? Thanks!
eyesopenedify I know this comment is old but just in case anyone else sees this and wonders the same, it takes hundreds if not thousands of flower petals to make a small bottle of essential oil. A few dried petals does not contain enough fragrance to effect a blend. 😁
Finally one that doesn’t use witch hazel or vodka! I dislike how it smells. Thank you these look so pretty, I found a cinnamon oil that smells amazing that I wanna turn into a perfume. I’m going to use this.

Omg. I just learnt everything I needed to know about perfume making! The math is simple enough. Quick question: are the notes classified as base, middle, top? Or any can be used among those 3, but usually the there are families of fragrances that are a rule of thumb for each note?
