It is such a beautiful number. That song is so sweet, and Brooke did such a good job performing as the lead with the acrobatic parts. It’s definitely one of their best pieces as a team, and I loved their leap downstage.

Ajaiah Nelson I'm not sure in Abbys case they it was genetics. Both her parents had cancer, but they've all had separate types of cancer. Although I do believe they have found that breast cancer can or is genetic.
Mira Ramboz its genetics it doesnt have to be the same type but the gene is there. I have a neighbor who found out she had breast cancer her daughter has lupus i believe and 8 year old grandbaby has leukemia. All showed up within a year of one another.

The environment is causing cancer. Especially here in Los Angeles and California. I'm having test done now for possible Lymphoma. Hopefully all is well. I hope Abby is doing ok. I really like her.
Auntie Rizpah California is a tough place to live. I know people who lived in south California who had cancer after living close to a factory, who was putting cancer causing chemicals in the air and didn't warn the community.

I loved the dance, but I think it would have been better if abby had given each girl a different color. Because different colors represent different kinds of cancer. Would have made it a more powerful piece in my opinion :)

Hannah s.Holli I see where your coming from but I feel that it makes more sense to just do cancer in general as there aren’t enough dancers for every cancer in the world and it could be seen as disrespectful to leave some types out. But that’s just my opinion
Hannah s.Holli Also some people wouldn’t understand all the different coloured ribbons therefore I believe that the pink was the best option to go with as the pink ribbon represents every form of cancer and bears such a powerful message

I think there is a theory about this dance:
Brooke has cancer (therefore tangled in the ribbon)
The girls are angels helping her
At the end the ribbon was untangled showing Brooke won against cancer
I don’t think they’re angels but rather represent her will to survive and fighting spirit.

One of my best friends has had cancer twice, and he is only 11, he is the bravest person i know and he is now getting on with his life and is one of the most happiest kids i know, never down and always helps cheer me up. Love him so much, and i am so proud of him so i would dedicate this dance to him xx
