She has good kids who both seem to be successful and kind. Could’ve just said something along the lines of “costuming is part of dance wear, just goes with the territory. A lot less weird.

She also wouldn't have given them the chance to like things because she would've prevented them experiencing different things. So bad. That's a big thing about youth - trying new things
