She’s the most noticeable. I don’t really agree with Abby or her tactics but I’m not afraid to give credit when due. The woman knows her stuff. Nia simply was not executing the choreography as well as the other children. She was also slightly late. The other children probably had mistakes as well but like I said, Nia’s were more noticeable. The point of the group dance is mainly to blend in and be together. When you don’t have similar/the same execution and timing issues, it ruins the magic of the number.

Why is noone talking about how beautiful the studio larkin’s dance was? Them movements were so pretty and they danced so elegantly I was amazed (I know they were older than our girls)

I really taught the ALDC Group should have won I would literally flip a table if they were going against Candy Apples and the CADC won I would have been so oo mad🤯🤢i would have puked
Tbh, I don’t understand what you are trying to say. But CADC is also a good dance company they won many times but the producers made the judges switch the scores for the sake of the show, Cathy spoke on it and former CADC dancers spoke about it too. And I think Candy Apples deserved that win it was a beautiful dance. Abby’s dance was also really good, knowing the meaning of their dance since it was a tribute to ms Miller, it was a beautiful dance aswell. I don’t understand why you would’ve puked over a win.
What I like better about the other group's dance is that it was an actual group performance. The ALDC's group dances are basically just Maddie doing a solo but with background dancers, it's always about her being front and center and all the other girls have to literally fall down to her feet at the end of every dance. It's never about the group, it's always about Maddie.
I mean it was pretty lyrical vs pretty lyrical so ultimately the judges were more likely looking at technique. Studio Larkin is wayy more technical then ALDC and have pretty figures. Not to say that the ALDC aren’t pretty it’s just Studio Larkin is more mature. I think Larkin deserved this win. The partner work in lifts were amazing and real moving.
@@honeyxlemoncore I mean they could still be around the same age as the ALDC girls. I think bc they were more developed, taller and danced more mature it gave off the illusion that they were older. The Studio Larkin dancers also seemed to already gone through puberty meaning they were early bloomers or older then the ALDC. You can also see at 7:59 that the girl standing next to Kendall is around her height. If Kalani or Chloe were taller and went through puberty I could picture them in Studio Larkin’s number. Especially Kalani since she was older and danced maturely compared to the ALDC.
This group dance was beautifully performed and the meaning came from a very special place ✨ In the end, that’s all that really matters for a piece like this ❤️
tbh the only time i've ever seen Nia cry was in her performance with this black case thing i love how she's emotionally stronger than most of the others and how she's almost always smiling
I think the thing is Nia isn’t a lyrical dancer, I’ve seen her hip hop routines, that’s her strength. So it’s hard to be doing a style when it hasn’t ever been your strong style (speaking as a former dancer myself and I was always more hip hop inclined rather than lyrical or ballet)
