    At 2:40 was that the 10ft6...u like ..I'll use for floats and bottom fishing for small to large fresh water from land .Do u thing the 10ft6 will load up in a nice bend ....I don't want a stiff rod so I can have fun fighting fish

      I use 10'6" because my clients need to navigate the outboard engines. These rods load up very nicely. They are not too stiff.

      @@ridgetoriveroutdoors that's what I want to do is when I'm on the bank fishing I want my bait clicker to go off lift the rod off the rod holder set hook. But I want use something loads up nice like in your video at 2 minutes and 40. I'll be catching cats anywhere from five to 80 lb reservoirs and carp. We used to use like surf Rods but the handles are to long. Lotta guys are using the salmon steelhead rod blanks and having them built some of them surf rod components like the cork wrap. I don't use any more than 20 pound mono and maybe a 30 or 40 lb leader mono. Blue bluegill heads or live .. live crek chubs or chopped same with shad ... So the heavy power we're help with the bigger lured and action of the when trolling lure... I love that moderate action it don't want to overkill home plus I have to cast 2o to 80 yards at a time.

    Trolling rods are good for catfish all sizes and big fresh water fish

    Like the handle length..surf rods have to long handle
