Black magic. I bought the saxophones today and I can only say that I forgot every other solo library that boasts to have “the best samples from the best player in the world” AND eats up my ram like crazy. Bravo!
I realize this video is a demonstration of the SWAM flute capabilities. It's awesome to see how realistic it can sound, but what's unrealistic is how he's playing it. You would need lungs the size of an elephant to actually play what he's playing on a real flute. Still I love that VIs can sound this good.
watched all your videos and I'm in awe. The same kind of amazement when I first heard samples played on Ensoniq keyboard in the 80's. This is revolutionary and can't wait for a mega Japanese manufacturer to buy your license and equip this technology into a portable keyboard solution. Bravo! keep the success going guys! Cheers from Canada
@@AudioModeling True true! I have a "Japanese" KORG Arranger made in Italy 😜. What instruments or modules are you working on modeling now? Very curious about your work progress in general.

How can I set up it without buying a expression pedal? Does this come with after touch built-in? Only modwheel + after touch would suffice me? Last question: pitchwheel works on this? :))
Yes, there is no need for an Expression pedal. We provide a default mapping for Keyboard + ModWheel (Expression) + AfterTouch (Vibrato). PitchWheel is just for Pitch-Bend.
@@AudioModeling Fucktastic!!! It's a revolution in music, man. I'm from Brazil and I can imagine myself having tons of instruments without paying for all of them....
The instruments are really amazing. I've set up GECO+LeapMotion, and now I can't bveleive my own ears! just for fun, I have some tech questions: 1) Vibrato in Flute is a change of Expression, while Vibrato on string instruments is a change of Pitch, right? 2) What Expression really is? Whether it maps to some other parameters or a combination of them? Or it's a kind of synthetic thing?
Hi Eugene, we are happy to hear your words. Thanks for the appreciations! 1) yes, on flutes vibrato is mostly a change of breath intensity, while on strings is mostly a change of pitch, as the player's finger shortens and lengthens the string portion affected by the vibration 2) Expression is a generic term to denote the parameter or phenomenon that mainly influences expressivity. E.g. on wind instruments is mostly related to breath, on string instruments is mostly related to bow speed
Same setup but I use MidiPaw instead of Geco. Yes it's amazing with Leap Motion, you can control more than 5 parameters at the same time easily without any learning curve just by moving your hand in the air
The magic does not come from Samples but from MODELING. The Woodwinds SWAM-W Engine uses few samples that are modeled in realt time with a proprietary physical and behavioural technology. Check audiomodeling.com/technology/
I think the Photon (mailchi.mp/3a821ede1de9/photon) handsfree controller / mouthpiece will make it much more intuitive / natural to play the famous Audio Modeling flutes etc.. eg. assigning flutter to a CC produced by tongue position and (01:04) and overblow to a CC produced by the Vocal amplitude (01:25) and vibrato via the lower lip tension (01:50) .
@@xx-bg2dj no, there are no samples. these are modeled instruments. Sampled libraries are sometimes 10 Gigabits, swam instruments don't even have 300 megabits
Apologies for a likely silly question. Not too familiar with this technology....Can these sounds be "programmed" into this keyboard or are they strictly computer based?
Hi Tracey, our instruments are running in a computer as a plugin instruments for the main DAW using the Audio Units, VST, AAX 64bit format. Let us know if you have other questions! Cheers

Thanks Ziad! Indeed we hope to make an hardware ourselves, it is not eventually necessary that a Japanese company does 😜

I bought this tone, can I use the flute like in the swam violin portamento? I bought also violin swam V3 is the best best
I ask because I play ethnic music

Fantastic, great variety in a single software that occupies less space
Why don't you add this on iOS platform for an iPad/iPhone
