So I decided to speedrun Bloons Tower Defense 2 and used the most tasteless methods to do so

- Bloons TD 2 is definitely an experience from the original Bloons TD but how's it's speedrun? Well pretty good considering it's more than just piling dart monkey after dart monkey on top of each other. This time we actually have ground tacks too :)

I feel so uncomfortable with the amount of spikes he used. so many towers he could have had.
Kind of what I thought. All that money on spikes could have gone to upgraded monkeys that could have stopped the bloons before they made it far enough along the track to be a threat
@@punjivr but he lose time later on because he uses spikes too much early on
The problem is that there is no obvious number of spikes to use in this speedrun, because if use save too much at the beginning you might lose a lot of time early, and if you use a lot early, then you lose time on the latter stage.
He did say it was a tasteless method though

Flashpoint uses vanilla Flash Player. In my experience, flash just tends to lag on larger window sizes. Try shrinking the window size to about a 9th of your overall screen area (1/3 the width and height), to approximate what the window size would be on a flash game site, and it should be much better.

Yellow boi may not be the most powerful, but he's fun. He has a fair amount of uses. He has a friggin lightsaber throwing upgrade in BTD4, plus glaives, robo-speed, lead-popping potential, plus he's the underrated color of yellow

In btd 5 it is the worst tower,especialy glaive lord because of the fact that it costs WAY too much and the bionic boomer is very weak against moabs and cerams. Luckily btd 6 made the tower actually viable.

Sfh 2 is genuinely one of my favorite games of all time, up there with stuff like the uncharted series and hollow knight.
Fun fact: Eazy never looks for an easy way in speedrun.

I wish there was a purchaseable extra in btd6’s trophy shop that makes it so the Bomb Shooter’s explosions look like the original explosion effect. It was so iconic
Honestly i'd love if they made old games towers, or projectile graphics in the trophy shop, i'd bloody love to play with the old 2d btd5 bloons and monkeys (granted it'd be only for a few of them

What makes Bloons Tower Defense great is that you can upgrade your towers and place them anywhere
I like what later games do with road spikes. Instead of just having to drop them yourself, there's a tower that just spits them out onto the road for you.

This was one of the best tower defense games at its time. It was simple, yet incentivized strategic planning unlike BTD1 which could be beaten with only dart monkeys.
Also, never get range upgrades in this game. They are not worth the cost.
I never knew I needed to see a super monkey in my life, but I did, and now I have. I also really like all the various games you speed run, as it keeps showing me all manner of games I never knew existed.

tip:put road spikes and the where the balloon come from so you can reck them as soon as the round starts(i put multiple at the start in the rainbow balloon round and the rainbow balloon did not pass them)
another tip: buy cannon as soon as you start then start putting down some dart monkeys and spread them out then you just place things where ever you want,also put a cannon or monkey or super money or some tack shooters at the start so you can also reck some at the biggening

Back in school I literally completed runs using only tack shooters and Ice towers. I finally died when the Moab tier 3 came along and I had no more space for tacks
