- I earned the Platinum Trophy for Bloons TD 5. Bloons Tower Defense is one of the biggest mobile games of all time, but I decided to test it out on the PS5 by getting it's painful Platinum Trophy. The 115 hour grind to earn this platinum trophy requires you to beat every single map, pop and absurd amount of bloons and complete over 250 random missions.
This game was pure nostalgia for me and even with how painful the grind was I couldn't help but enjoy most of it. If you want me to get the Platinum Trophy for BTD 6 when it comes to Ps5, Like and Comment below.

Should I get the Platinum Trophy for BTD6 (when it releases)?
BTD6 has "Pop 500 golden bloons", "Pop 100 golden bloons in magic only", "Beat a race in under 3 minutes", "Sapper" and more extremely grindy achievements

To beat every single track in the game on every single difficulty. I wonder however good of a replayability this game had and isn't it boring to do the same ones over and over again
Definitely the grindiest part of the game, Impoppable makes it interesting having only 1 life but cleaning up maps on the easier difficulties got repetitive quickly, still enjoyed it tho aha
I also caught myself on a thought that the trophy for 50 golds could've done as part of the trophy for beating every single map on every difficulty. Though, of course, the order of the trophies doesn't matter here I guess
If this was btd6 It would be very fun

His voice over voice is really annoying and sounds like a stereotypically youtuber voice. It was nice he included his normal toned voice as it sounds better because... it's natural
absolutely disagree, his voiceover voice has that super annoying dragging intonation thing at the end of sentences, whereas his regular voice sounds way more natural and easy to listen to
@@jesperwillems_ I honestly wish he voiceovered with his normal voice. It was honestly funny hearing the switch in tone from annoying voice to voice of frustration from dying for the millionth time at Tar Pit.

Fast tracking isn't an exploit period. It is built into the game by default. If someone seriously has a problem with that, they are just getting mad to get mad.
I 100% agree. Hate it when people get mad at others for using the mechanics of the game to beat the game.

I used to play this on the DAILY on the official NK site, I was younger so I never took a swing at the tougher maps. Glad to see someone get the Platinum and recognize this gem! Can’t wait for BTD6, that game is a grind and I know damn well that getting all monkey knowledge is gonna be an achievement (im around rank 140 and havent maxed it)
oh by the way, fun fact. You can beat easy and go ultra late game in BTD5 with just ninja and boomerang :)
This dude is a real one for doing this platinum without cheesing it. I opened the daily chest 150+ times before getting into the grind lmao
I believe reverse also reverses the order of Bloons that come on that wave
(For example, if a wave normally sends 3 red & a blue, reverse sends the blue, then the reds)

The mortar monkey specialty building is quite useful especially for artillery batteries with a smaller blast radius

also, as someone who literally turned every map into a water map (portable lakes or whatever they're called) just to use that broken op boat monkey with fire balls instead of darts. i think i miss my beloved bloonberry bush even more than that 😢

Tip: use planes. Example: No Escape is triviale easy with the nuke.

No wonder the Impoppable difficulty was so infuriating. Obviously, I knew about the 1 life, and the inflation on towers, but Bloons moving 25% faster is crazy along with the health increase for the MOAB Class Bloons.

an tip for when the BTD6's videogame ports come out is that you will need to study all the towers because there are some achievements that require you to beat some challenges and BTD6's challenges can get hard and tower specific

yeah it won't even matter that much i duot it will take him more than a year straight to do all other achievements. the "The Daily reid" one will take minimum 1 year, longer if you don't log in every day.
@@pvz_games daily reid actually takes less time if you do also the advanced and co-op challenges (before you ask, it really does count those 2 types)

A ZOMG in Btd stands for “Zeppelin of Mighty Gargantuaness.” It is a MOAB-class bloon that is larger and more powerful than the other bloon types. The ZOMG is a high-health blimp that requires strong towers to defeat.

Chimps mode in btd6 is definitely difficult. But tar pits impoppable is actually almost impossible without powers. Imagine chimps on tar pits
Im like 80 achievements into BTD6. They start ranking up quickly. Hardest I did so far was 2TC and a couple black borders

God seeing BTD 5 after playing BTD 6 for so long I forgot how it looks I 100% BTD 5 on my Xbox while back for longest time last achievement I needed was the lead popping one so I would refresh the random missions until I got a certain one since it had highest lead count aside from doing that regrow farm on the special wizard lord mission

Easiest way to beat MOAB Madness is just use the Ground Zero Ability once all are on screen. It insta kills all of the MOABs.
When i got mine, i never thought popping lead balloons would be such a grind

17:10: "Abilities have a cooldown." No problem, just sell and rebuy them. Also, a bunch of Spectres would easily clean up a ZOMG.
8:05: A better strategy to cheese this completely - 2 Ground Zeros. Wait a bit until a good amount of MOABS have arrived and nuke them, then wait for the rest and nuke them. That's a speedrun strat.
Just wanted to share my thoughts :p
To beat high difficulty maps I started putting 2-3 cash drops at the start of round 1 and snowballing. Found it to be the most efficient way to get masteries
I don't need cash drops but I use them if I want to get like 20 Million dollars by Round 85 for shits and giggles.
@@CerealExperimentsMizuki I think half the maps on mastery are impossible or almost impossible with the ramping. And I misremembered. It was die round 1 get 5k money and snowball like crazy. Cheaper than agents from what I remember

278 for me, could've gone further but I had the game running for like 12 Hours and I wanted to do other stuff, plus I never even used the ice and ninja monkeys so I theoretically could've gone up to round 350+

If you want to get the platinum for btd6, you might want to go ahead and start on that. Mostly because it has alot of achievements that are probably locked to specific seasonal events (like odyssey runs or daily challenges). And ESPECIALLY since you have to log in for a whole year (365 consistent days) for one achievement

As someone working on 100% btd5 savefile on mobile version (which is harder btw) seeing steely achievement being cheesed like this hurts
Working on all mastery medals now and its a grind
I 100% every difficulty on regular and Mastery, it took me a week to do regular and a couple Years for Mastery but that's just because I didn't care to complete them and just wanted to get as high as I could with as many unique combinations of units. Plus I was playing countless other games.
These days I can effortlessly get past round 200.
