The problem is not cheating itself, but duty and responsibility.
- When men cheat, they are less likely to cheat as a replacement to their wives i.e less likely to abandon their duty. Women cheat, and you can almost smell the ink on the divorce while the climax is happening.

It's important to say that polygamy is not the same as polyamory. And people CAN cheat inside polyamorous relationships.

Now, that is not necessarily important in a marriage but why would you say bye to your sex life? That is why an open relationship can work for some if it is done the right way.
