I instantly fell in love with the game, I told my dad I wanted it... But he said: "Well then, Your exams are coming, so, if you get good grades I will give it to you as a Present...". From that day, I started to study really hard to get good grades and I sure get them... Well, almost, I got a bad one. I got really sad... So close... I wanted that game so much... But, I got the courage to tell that to my dad and he said: "Oooh... How bad... But you know what? You were Honest with me right now, You win it, Son. Let's buy the game" And we went directly to the Store to buy it... Oooh, Dad, thanks a lot...
I remember turning on my GameCube to find this game instead of Super Mario Sunshine and I asked my parents where this game came from and they told me they got it for me since I was doing good in school.
the memories of watching this in the Luigi's Mansion menu as a child will always be a core memory to me. Pikmin was always so fascinating to me, and now I own Pikmin 3 and have played through almost all of Pikmin 2 on Dolphin, all because Luigi's Mansion had this trailer

One of the only games every member of my family played and enjoyed. Tremendous game. Definitely top 10 all-time for me. 2 was excellent, but 1 my favorite.... Never got into 3 unfortunately

I don't know the whole list like you do, but Metroid Prime came out in 2002 and not only was it named video game of the year, it was, by far, one of Nintendo's very best accomplishments. So 2002 couldn't have been that bad either.

I got good memories with 1, and 2 is pretty great as well, 3 was fantastic in my opinion and 4 was wonderful.
