I understand Faizals love for the VTEC, but I ve been driving the Ford 1.5l Dragon petrol Ecosport for 2 years now, its 123 PS and 140 NM I guess is almost as powerful and a joy to push to 6900 rpm Redline as well.
I strongly believe the Dragon Petrol engine never got the true love it deserved .
Shocking thing is its FAST when its driven hard and in city its giving 11.5-12.5 kmpl and highway close to 17, not at all bad considering I ve a relatively heavy foot as well
The random fan showing up in a 4th gen City pretty much sums up the love we have for this car... and ofcourse Faisal himself 😌

That smile is not limited to fasbeam but it transfers to the viewers too. It's been a long time since we have seen fasbeam drive such a car the way the revv needle was climbing was such a joy to watch. It's all about the engine for these cars. Keep producing these engines honda as there aren't many of them remaining in the market. Just focus more on braking and NVH and stiffening of suspension. No other nonsense.
It's all about VTEC for the enthusiast that's what we need. Nothing else💯💯

@@s.d.3656 that does makes sense i didn't mean that they should design something very similar to old generation but they eliminated practically from this, as well as hyundai did the same with i20 and verna.
We booked the new city on last Saturday on Akshay tritiya. Very happy with the test drive. The sunroof cover wasn't flimsy on the model we tested. And everything made sense the most for this car in the segment. After test driving every car in the segment, we settled on the new city. It was xuv300 before the facelift was announced. And after driving the facelift we found more than we were looking for, especially with the engine. Also, we upgraded from the Chevrolet beat so we're all wayy to excited for the delivery this friday

Just bought the Honda City ZX CVT yesterday. Upgraded the tyres immediately. Stock tyres were Bridgestone 185/55 R16 and upgraded to Yokohama Earth One 195/55 R26. Few of the advantages are, 1.) Ride is softer and grip levels have improved, 2.) Side wall height has increased and so has the ground clearance to 170.5mm, 3.) Road noise has decreased considerably.
I have City 5th Gen, did you just upgrade the Tyres or did you need the wheel upgrade also, has the control improved? i feel the suspension is soft? giving body roll?
@@omkartiv8223 I upgraded the tyres on the same wheel as it was already R16. The ride has gone softer, ground clearance has increased and grip levels have improved. I see no change on body roll.

@@SnehaDebojit infact I have experienced increase in economy after each free service. Mine has gone through three services, i.e., 10k on the odometer. What I have observed that Economy Mode just drops the RPM, and if the car requires sudden acceleration it has to go to higher revs thus compromising the fuel economy. Just stop using the Economy button and try to drive with a lighter foot. I get around 14kmpl in the city and 18kmpl on the highway. Just for reference, on a 285km stretch from Jpr-Dli, max speed 120, I got 17Kmpl. If one could maintain 100km/hr then the mileage would increase. I’ve even managed 20kmpl on a 50km run @ 80-85km/hr speed. In all cases not using the Eco Mode. 😊

"It's not how fast you go, it's how u go fast " I hv experienced faster cars than City but they didn't put a smile on my face but Honda is a overall package experience from slick gear shifting to steering tuned by an enthusiast .. it's de sum total of all driving dynamics which creates magic not only 1 or 2 sec more speed
These is the only JDM car we have with a decent price in market but 4th gen was much more sporty looking car.❤

This is probably the only non turbo car that makes sense even today.
Radar based Adas is on the way out and mostly replaced by camera based systems , thanks to machine learning they are much superior to radar based.
Audio quality is good when you use car play. It also shows bonnet open if you would have dismissed the other info.

I have just received the delivery of new honda city rde zx mt… but as mentioned in this video I haven’t received any wireless charger along with it, dealer said it is only available in cvt model…. Need help to understand if the dealer is misguiding us and where to raise the complaint in such case
I have the same zx mt, sunroof doesn't slide under heavy breaking, was skeptical before buying when I saw the video,thankfully no rattles and unwanted vibrations inside the cabin.

I guess its because of the heavy flywheel in this vehicle, we cannot have a wheelspin while shifting to 2nd. I have the same and the revs drop very slowly when aggressively up shifting from 1st to 2nd. Even though the car has enough grunt to even perform a wheelspin in 2nd.

i love the fun driving manual ivtec. and upgraded my tyres with bridgestone sturdo. and it complements this car in terms of perfomace and suspension. and road noice become very quite.. done 1.4 lakhs km in 5 yrs time

@@Alastair_orion around at an avg 6 to 7k per service till 1 lakh km after that it become 12k out of with injectors transmission belts were renewed along with oil filter and oil. One issue is the labour cost is slightly high i feel
