I always like sedans. They have a sense of elegance attached to them. They offer excellent ride and handling which are missing in SUVs. Ofcourse both styles of cars have their own pros and cons. If given a choice I would always choose sedans over half cooked SUVs.
I have the 2012 Honda City and man the engine and the ride quality is supreme. Its so great to drive . Other than old infotainment the car is solid and going strong .
I bought the 5th gen last September. It’s a great, smooth engine and also powerful when necessary. I chose it over the slavia and virtus due to rear space and reliability of the car. Truly the king of the segment. I really hope that Honda brings back the Civic and Accord
Honda's 1.5L NA petrol is one of the best and most reliable petrol engine in the world. I've seen this engine going upto 6lakh km without an issue and still going on. I hope they'll bring the HR-V soon in India.
i am a regular traveler to Indonesia but when I test drove it, it felt very confident and so many sensors have not been taken to India which are standard in Indonesia (Honda Sensing-Radar Based). I performs like a Sci-Fi Robo, but India are not getting only 70% of the entire ADAS features.
In 2007 we bought sx4 In 2011 we bought kizhasi. In 2015 we bought verna and sold out kizashi In 2018 we sold out sx4 Now we are planning on honda city 2023 and solding out verna.
They had Accord hybrid with the same tech that's in City hybrid, but India's collective mindset was not developed to Hybrid tech. Now Honda will not bring any of it's international cars.
Hi, Am a owner of 5th Gen Honda City ZX (AT) after watching your review video I got to know there are some big changes in rear view camera n the infotainment (wireless CarPlay), I have wrote multiple mails to Honda india complaining the quality of the rear view cam but what I got is a simple mail that it is the best cam as per there design/quality engineers, which left me with a sorrow, as I can see the changes are done and implemented the same on the face lift version I feel happy, Ill be more happy n joyful if Honda india can consider the existing 5th Gen owners pain n change the rear view cam n also upgrade the wireless CarPlay tech in the existing cars we sell be more thankful to Honda india, we request the Autocar India to kindly look into this and please a raise a request of the same from your side so that we can be happy. If the changes are done on charge basis also we are ready to accept because we require the changes to be done very badly and we don't want to go for any after market fittings, we are in love with Honda so we expect the same love n care from Honda to there customers also. Thanks n Regards, Shravan
Instead of power seats, under thigh support would be more useful. Manual adjustment of the supports will suffice. And not all of India and all of we Indians need a SUV. Come whatever, nothing can beat the ride comfort, style, and stabilty of a sedan…
Honda really needs to stop cheap bits like the funny aftermarket wireless charger and the hard plastics everywhere.. It's a 20+ lakh car. People want their money's worth .. Gone are the days when only bragging a Honda engine used to be enough to win hearts of buyers. And this has been sadly the case for all Honda products since past 5 years..
Doesn't look like much of an update ....they should have upgraded the tyre width ... That's a sore point which completely ruins the street presence of the city ... And also the infotainment and give adjustable headrests at the rear .....
I brought Honda CITY Petrol and it's not good for hilly regions. Power delivery is delayed (courtesy of NA Engine but this is too much) which makes car under powered while sudden hill climb comes. BUT otherwise it's a great product. I'm getting 17 kmpl on hills as well and on highways it goes up till 20KMPL
I never faced issues in hilly areas with my city despite it being a CVT. It climbs without breaking a sweat but yeah my diesel WRV surely struggles on the mountains.
The best car/ SUV is the one in the Showroom… 😂…. I dont own any vehicle and dont plan to own any… I keep hiring various cars/SUV- that way I get the best and latest models to ride 😅
@@ShubhoBose 🙂🙂 I own Slavia 1.0 MT myself and with the launch of new city I don't regret my decision..... Tho my Slavia lacks those ADAS features but still it excels in performance, ride and handling balance also I enjoy the ventilation on seats which city lacks😉😉😉😉. Never faced any issue related to AC or even EPC.
Ventilated seats were a missed opportunity. Honda makes amazing cars and SUVs, better than Maruti, but Honda India is a very lazy company with no motivation to bring all those amazing vehicles and tech to India
Well! For same price we get Honda Civic in USA; Honda should either think to reduce its cost for Honda City in India or should bring Civic with moderate price (same price as in USA). Sad to see that Toyota and Honda though they have series of beautiful and affordable cars in USA but those are not in India, hence other rivals like Hyundai is getting benefited.
Unfortunately low level adas system that will not perform in rain and darkness is totally breaking point of usp and then price factor will get urban cruiser or vitara...still honda is bringing 3rd class cars to India..
Guys please don't buy Honda cars. Honda is not interested in Indian car market and they will leave India very soon. This will affect your car's resale value. Do not buy a Honda car if you want a good resale value for your car.
Sedans going out of style? Really? Half of the so called SUVs arent even SUVs in the first place & I really can't find a good reason getting an SUV apart from more ground clearance and road presence. Sedans i find more practical.

Nothing interesting to be honest about this car. They just helped the Verna to sell out faster.

New Verna faster 145 above bhp power

Great to see Sedans still holding on in this SUV loving market…
Location where this video was shot was Greater Noida right?

Is it GDI ??
Addition of ADAS in manual model is very nice and good too.
That’s a gimmick isn’t it. Camera based low end ADAS is available in n dashcams these days.

Where is the queen

The fact that nobody covered the V variant of the eHev is shocking.
Has Honda rectified the oil dilution problem with their gasoline direct injection engines ( earth dreams engine ) ??
They should have provided Ventilated seats considering the price range it is available. It is must feature in country like India
U guys have removed the initial entry music which used to come in each video which was good please add it.
Comparing to virtus city has much less maintenance and a rear seat comfort... virtus has its advantages on performance.. still city is reliable
Isn’t it noisy than before the engine
Ig u can use wireless charging while using cup holders. As in armrest there is a 12v socket
How is the performance of the hybrid compared to the 1.5 TSI Slavia/Virtus? Specs look similar to the VAG cars at 126bhp and 253Nm
Honda could’ve added at least a 1 litre turbo engine. Feels like Honda took an oath that they won’t bring turbo engines to Indian market 😞.
I own 2014 4th Gen, add ventilated seats, electric adjustable seats, much better Infotainment Console and king of sedans again

His head was not even fully rested on rear seat headrest. I wonder why City doesn't give adjustable headrests for tall passengers.
Is the complete review of New Facelift Harrier 2023 planned as well? If yes, when can we expect it?
when is new crv hybrid launching in india @autocar?
There's this saying "SUVs cannot replace sedans..."
Yes only on youtube, not on the roads lol

Please put up a review for BMW M340i 2023 version. Thanks
in sedan i only prefer the civic sold last year.... sexy as hell
The boss returns.. now that honda has only 1 product to concentrate on, they corrected all the flaws in the city with correct pricing.
You forgot the SV variant which is introduced in the petrol version.
Honda should increase ground clearance if it really want to survive in indian auto market..cosmetic changes doesn't matter..SUV season ,on.

Confused with Slavia and City... Both are good
I think this is one of the last cars if not the very last one before Honda leaves the country.
