HOW to CROCHET CATHERINE'S WHEEL - Crochet Stitch Pattern by Naztazia

  • You can learn how to Crochet the Catherine's Wheel Stitch pattern in this DIY video tutorial. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This is a nice crochet stitch for beginner to advanced crocheters. The stitches are comprised of two opposite shell clusters that form a circle, wheel, or round object. This stitch pattern works great in a blanket, a scarf, or a shawl. It would also look nice in a sweater or other fashion accessories.
You'll also learn a trick on how to minimize that gap, space, or hole that oftentimes forms within the wheel part of the stitch. I'm using worsted weight yarn and a size H 5 mm crochet hook. This is from the Stitchorama by Naztazia collection.

Again thank you and have one question do you have any written patterns that you sell? Alli Bartels. I am never too old to learn ha!

    Row 2 2:20, Row 3 5:09, Row 4 6:35, Row 5 8:17 . I time stamped these just to make it easier to refer back when crocheting🙂

Came here because i keep seeing a reddit post about a man who wanted a handstitched wool catherine stitch queen size blanket made for like 70 dollars. I don't even think asking price of 400 was enough

Such a splendid pattern, I love it and made 2 cat blankets using it. Thank you for the excellent tip on avoiding a hole by doing two slip stitches. I've seen other tutorials which don't have it and I see the difference. Also, maybe it's my own way of crocheting , something to do with tension, but I decided to avoid the gap caused by ch3 - underneath it - by substituting a ch3 with a ch1.

I attempted to wing it just by watching your short. And I am proud to say I pretty much nailed it just by looking at the piece.. But got bothered by the empty 3 slips, and I wondered why yours didnt have these holes. So I look up the stitch and BAM here I am AND YOU ARE ADRESSING IT EXPLICITLY hahaha thank you so much. 😘
