- You can learn how to Crochet a Diagonal Basket Weave Stitch in this DIY tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This is the diagonal basket weave stitch from my Stitchorama. It creates a nice diagonal or criss-cross basket weave look with the stitches. This sample uses medium worsted weight yarn and a size H (5 mm) crochet hook. You can change colors every row or just use the same color. It's a little tricky at first, but once you get to the second row you'll see it's pretty neat!

Great pattern. Love it.
Thanks for video! After many years of promising a scarf for a special man in my life I have finally found a perfect pattern for him :') my first thought was that it looks a little complicated for me so I've avoided even entertaining these kind of patterns so far but to my surprise it is quite easy!! Unfortunately to the untrained crocheters eye I think it looks easy enough but hopefully he'll appreciate the fact that he can't/won't be able to do it himself 😅 thanks again naztazia! You never let me down with your easy to follow videos 💞

Every stitch can be done in the round. Even if you have to work from the inside of the hat to mimic "turning the row."

Hello. Good day. May I ask if you could create a tutorial for Moroccan Trellis crochet, please. Thanks so much.
I love the work that you do. With this crochet pattern can you do a border or is it better without
I think a border would be just fine. Complicated or simple would work!
@@naztazia Ok thank you
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏
Could you do double crochet or extended DC instead of treble?

Hi hon, love your videos! I was wondering what brands of yarn do you prefer for projects like this?? Thanks so much
I don't really have a preference with brands. I tend to favor acrylic yarn since it doesn't itch (like some wools) and doesn't stretch (like some cottons). I think any worsted weight or medium weight yarn generally works nicely with stitches like these.
@@naztazia
Yeah I can't use wool, I'm allergic..
Yes acrylic is very versatile and easy to use..so pretty much all acrylic brands work the same? Some are more expensive than others so I was curious if there's a difference 🤔 thanks so much darlin 💙💜
Is this the same for a hat? Ty!
