OMGOSH! U were so clear & precise in ur instructions! Ive crocheted for over 30 yrs & this was a great video of how to do a simple yet elegant pattern! Thank u!
Thank you so much for your kind words.🥰

Thank you! I'm sure you can do it. 🥰
Love this pattern thank you
You're welcome.🙂
Great colors
Would love for you to do a video tutorial of The Harlequin Bag from Lion Brand that uses 24/7 cotton. Could not believe I stumbled across this bc I litlerally bought yarn in the same colors at Joanns a couple days ago. Only issue I see is most Harlequin stitch patterns have the 8+1 so now I am just confused. lol
I will have to check out that pattern. I have not seen it. With most stitch patterns, you can change them slightly to fit the project. Sometimes it can get confusing because of the math. Happy Crocheting!!☺
@@theprettystitch7092 it has the harlequin stitch being done in the round and I have not been able to find the video or anyone doing it in the round with the 8+1 directions that are in the pattern. Lots of ppl doing 8+2 flat versions and one person that did it in the round. Guess I’ll be ripping it out now. lol. I’m a couple stitches off somewhere. Might as well start practicing it on a blanket first tho since I have ur brilliant video to help me. lol. Hoping that makes a difference. lol. Thx again.
@@sometimesiwander7146 I've not tried it in the round. I'll have to play around with it. Working in the round can definitely be different than working in rows.
I've made several.pillows with this beautiful stitch using the 8+2 count. What I'm wondering if this stitch could be used in a simple shell top. I'm using Alize Cream Microfiber 2 wt yarn with a 3.5mm hook.😊
@@patcoffman7838 I’m sure your pillows turned out great. I think a shell top is a great idea for this stitch!😊
Where did your words go? I need them!
So sorry about that! After you worked the first section for row 3, skip the next chain 1 space. Yarn over and pull up a loop in the next 3 stitches, skip the next single crochet, continue to yarn over and pull up loops in the next 3 stitches. You will have 7 loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all 7 loops. Continue to follow the video for the rest of the stitch pattern. Hope that helps!!
Thank you! Love your tutorial it is very informative. May I ask what did you do with all the yarns on the side? Did you tie it or mend it? I’m just a new beginner in crocheting. Thank you
Thank you! 🥰This was just a practice piece that I took apart to use the yarn for a different project. If you were making a blanket or something else, I would weave in the ends to hide them.
I am having some issues with this stitch
Sorry to here. What is giving you trouble?
Is there a written pattern for this please
So, sorry I currently do not have a written pattern using this stitch. I do want to make one in the future as this is such a pretty stitch.
I always write out the instructions as I watch the video of any tutorial. It's time consuming but you start using the Abbreviations and it's so worth the extra time.
beautiful but ill put that project aside until i get more confident
Keep practicing, confidence will come. 🥰
Go for it!;I've made several pillows with this stitch. I'm 64 and just began my crochet journey a year ago. It looks harder than what it is.
