  • The Harlequin stitch is worked up as a unit of 8 +2 and is often confused with the Starburst stitch, but it's actually much easier to crochet and much neater! It's great for scarves and even clothes, especially if you use different colours.
    Over on HappyBerry Plus, I share all the written patterns and charts to go along with this stitch, including a sweet little wash cloth pattern that uses this stitch! Find out more at: www.happyberry...
    In Stitch Study Monthly, every month I will be sharing a new stitch for you to try. Some you may recognise, some may be completely new to you, but I hope you enjoy crocheting and learning along with me.

    I'm a very novice crocheter and your tutorials break it down so wonderfully that even my sister, an avid crochet wizard, is impressed with what I'm able to create!
    Thank you!!!

    I really liked this pattern and made a sample for a sweater. I made a row of differently colored singles between the theoretical color change but while it looks nice, this pattern is too... Blanket-y, if you know what I mean. 😂
    But I'm sure this skill I learned from you will come in handy, once I start with my blanket.
    Thanks for the video :D

    Really liked how to end it with 3chains and sc. Plus other project that can end with row of sc for nice finish edge.

    I love this pattern, thank you for sharing it. My question is how many chains would you do for a baby blanket? I'm due in April and I think this would be a lovely project to keep my nerves calm and have an amazing product at the end that they can use 😀

    • @HappyBerryCrochet
      @HappyBerryCrochet  Год назад

      That really depends on what yarn you're using and hook, I have a cool tool on my website that can calculate this for you www.happyberry.co.uk/conversion-charts/yarn-lengths/

      @@HappyBerryCrochet: thank you for a very helpful tool to know how many yards of yarn.
      For an adult Afghan you have 3450 yards. Would that be for size 40X 60 inches or less?
      Thank you😊
