Ik this video is about spotting the serious faults but the amount of times she kept going into 1st gear for turnings or slowing down when 2nd gear would be more better suited. I swear if u repeat the same minors a good few times the examiners do mark it as serious no?
Fault 1- 3:5- Steering (about to hit the central island) Fault 2- 5:01- Positioning Fault 3- 6:47- Steering (parallel manoeuvre) 3 total seriuous faults
Fault 1 - 3:15 steering (control) Fault 2 - 4:12 manoeuvre before signals Fault 3 - 4:34 mirror (observation) - might be a cyclist on the left of her going straight (Only know this because someone ran me over before 😂) Fault 4 - 5:10 (Observation/judgement) - should have waited Fault 5 - 6:58 sterling & control & positioning Fault 6 - 11:22 signals left and moves into the lane immediately
Steering on left turn (3:17): Lost control of steering during a left-hand turn. Right turn positioning (5:12): Moved too far forward on a right turn, requiring instructor intervention. Parallel parking clearance (6:55): Parked too close to the yellow car, misjudging the space. Rear observation while parking (6:55): Failed to check the rear while parallel parking. 4 serious faults
Hi pin i started watch your videos at 14 im 17 dec 31 ready to have some lessons you've taught me alot i even brought the driving course keep up the good work boss 👏🏾
That was me 6 months ago.. I've been watching him since i was 14 or 15 and started lessons as soon as i turned 17 6 months ago, i passed a month ago first time 0 minors. :)@JevzTR
Fault 1-3:17 steering when turning left Fault 2-5:12 positioning when turning right (about to go to far forward and instructor had to intervene) Fault 3-6:55 steering when parallel parking (inadequate clearance between their car and the yellow car/ also didn’t look to the rear side at all) So I think there is 3 serious faults in total . I do think she should work on changing her gears at the right time and also earlier on she did mount the curb when turning left and checking her left mirror for any cyclists for example.
3:19 Serious Control steering 5.17 Serious judgement junction. 5:40 Serious turning without signaling. 6:45 Serious fault Steering ,observations, not looking around and not checking Blindsports. 7:00 Serious fault observations/Steering.. 9:16 Serious fault wrong side of the road. 9:52 driving Fault a bit closer to the bus

Fault 6 - Habitual minor fault of not making progress by gearing down to 1st gear when turning even though 2nd gear was ok
Fault 1 - 05:16 Not stopping for oncoming traffic, Fault 2 - 07:01 - Steering whilst attempting parallel parking, Fault 3 - 07:25 - Lack of observation whilst reversing and Fault 4 - 09:52 Need to do another right mirror check before overtaking bus.
Don’t count me as a give away entry, just doing this for fun 2:42- Minor Fault; Control and Hesitation 3:13- Minor Fault; Gears 3:17- Serious Fault, Steering 3:37- Minor Fault; Gears 4:41- Minor fault; Gears 5:13- Serious Fault; Junctions Observations 5:36- Minor Fault; Gears 7:00- Serious Fault; Steering & Control 8:30- Minor Fault; Had to correct manoveure position 9:18- Minor Fault; Went a bit too far over giveway Overall- 3 serious, 7 Minors Her driving is mostly fine and with work, she’ll pass, she just needs to be a bit faster and get her speed built up a bit more and get better with gears and practice steering and manoeuvres
Fault 1 - 3:13 - Steering Fault 2 - 5:10 - Turning and getting too close when there were still a vehicle coming Fault 3 - 6:40 - Steering on parallel maneuver
I asked for a video like this some time ago and glad to see the format on the channel! You could potentially make small "Guess the mistake" shorts too if you have the time? Thanks Pin, I enjoyed this ❤
Serious faults 1) 3:07 over steering 2) 4:50 observation - turning right at traffic lights, Lights still green with oncoming traffic passing 3) 6:49 Parallel parking steering wrong direction towards parked car Worthy mention: Fortunate minor 2:34 could of easily been a serious fault right hand turn, the harsh break with car close behind, but awareness from other drive would of know the learner would be slowing for the turn Recommendation is not to always switch straight to gear 1 on approach to soon causing the sudden slow days
Steering when turning left (3:17): Difficulty maintaining control while making a left turn. Steering during left turn (3:17): Insufficiently managed the steering wheel when executing a left-hand turn. Left turn steering issue (3:17): Encountered problems keeping the steering smooth while turning left. Right turn positioning (5:12): Positioned the car too far forward during a right turn, requiring instructor correction. Turning right positioning error (5:12): Almost oversteered on a right turn, leading to the instructor's intervention. Positioning on right turn (5:12): Misjudged the stopping point when preparing for a right-hand turn. Parallel parking steering (6:55): Miscalculated the space while parking, leaving inadequate room between the car and the yellow vehicle. Parking error during parallel maneuver (6:55): Failed to provide enough clearance with the yellow car when parking. Observation and clearance during parallel parking (6:55): Did not check surroundings and parked too close to the adjacent vehicle. Steering and awareness issue in parallel parking (6:55): Overlooked rearward observations and struggled to maintain a safe distance from another vechicle total number of serious fauilts =3 (could be 4 depending on how strict the examiner is on the test)
Fault 1 - 3:15 - Steering, went to close to centre island Fault 2 - 4:47 - Went through red light Fault 3 - 5:13 - Positioning at right turn, instructor had to intervene Fault 4 - 7:02 - Steering wrong way during parallel park
Minor Fault 1 - 1:44 steering (Wheel mounted the kerb) . Minor Fault 2 - 2:20 Adequate Clearance (driving to close to the cars) . Minor Fault 3 - Stalling ( vehicle behind could have hit herr) . Serious As it her 3rd time doing this Fault 4 - 3:16 Adequate Clearance ( near hit the sign on the island ). Minor Fault 5 - 3:45 Hesitation (this one quite hard as i couldn't see to her left or right so couldn't judge that 😂). Serious Fault 6 - 4:10 Adequate Clearance (too close to the orange car and the white car as she pulled out). Minor Fault 7 - 4:38 Speed (too slow going around the bend, slowed down the van ). Serious Fault 8 5:11 - Observation/judgement (was gonna go as the slice car was moving forwards). Minor Fault 9 5:29 - steering ( almost mounted the pavement). Serious Fault 10 6:53 Observation/judgement (she did a full-lock to the right rather then the left making he front almost hit the back tires area). Minor Fault 11 - position (far from the kerb) Minor Fault 12 9:11 - positioning (since it was one way round she should position more to the right to make her turn). Serious Fault 13 9:48 - misleading (she turn her signal as the was a road on her right while the van was coming forward. This could cause a crash). Minor Fault 14 10:25 - hesitation . Good Driving 10:49 - switch lane safely and good speed. So in total 5 serious. 1. Serious As it her 3rd time doing this Fault 4 - 3:16 Adequate Clearance ( near hit the sign on the island ). 2. Serious Fault 6 - 4:10 Adequate Clearance (too close to the orange car and the white car as she pulled out). 3. Serious Fault 8 5:11 - Observation/judgement (was gonna go as the slice car was moving forwards). 4. Serious Fault 10 6:53 Observation/judgement (she did a full-lock to the right rather then the left making he front almost hit the back tires area). 5. Serious Fault 13 9:48 - misleading (she turn her signal as the was a road on her right while the van was coming forward. This could cause a crash). BTW I am not professional driving instructor im just a learner who test is coming soon so trying to identify faults so I don't make them.
Serious Fault 1 - 3:15 - Steering Serious fault 2 - 5:15 - Observation and Judgement (She was just following the black car infront instead of giving way to the traffic on the main road to the left. Cars were coming and she was going to continue to keep driving cause you to intevene and break for her.) I hope I’ve written this comment correctly- Ive noticed people in the comments have listed every fault including all the minors but from the start of the video Im sure you mentioned to only write serious faults only and from what i saw there was only 2 serious faults the rest were all minors that i thought. Including In this video, I noticed that the driver was often indicating during the manoeuvre rather than a few seconds beforehand. This didn’t give drivers behind enough time to react, which made me feel quite nervous which could potentially have turned into a serious since she kept doing it. I’m a young learner driver myself, only 25, and I run a charity to help protect dumped animals. I started learning to drive to reduce our reliance on volunteers for transport runs, so I’d be over the moon for the opportunity to enter and win! I’ve been watching and learning from your channel since August.
Serious faults: 3:18 - Understeering; came too close to oncoming car. 3:59 - Lack of observation; needed to creep and peep (or at least lean forwards) to gain a better view to the right past the parked cars before emerging. 5:12 Turning right; started to move forward and steer to the right before the silver car had passed. 6:48 Lack of control; steered in the wrong direction and risked hitting the parked car; also lack of effective observation to the rear (over left shoulder) throughout the manoeuvre. 9:48 Use of signals; began signalling right before it was safe to move out and other drivers could have thought she was turning right rather than overtaking; it was likely the bus was about to move off again and the bus driver might have thought it was safe to do so if they believed the learner was waiting to turn right.
Serious Fault 1 - 3:15 - Steering, Instructor had to step in Serious Fault 2 - 5:12 - Not giving way to oncoming traffic on the crossroad Serious Fault 3 - 7:04 - Parallel Park, steering the wrong way Serious Fault 4 - 9:46 - Misleading Signal (Road users could have thought she was turning into the side road)
I have my test tomorrow at 9.37am but the thing is that I may need to cancel my test just before it, because I have emergency eye surgery tomorrow from anytime between 8am to 1pm as my retina detached a few days ago and unable to see much at all from my right eye. I'm hoping the surgery happens later tomorrow so im able to do my test as I won't be able to drive for a long time after my surgery. Nonetheless, I love your videos pin they've been very useful and entertaining.
1. 3.17 serious fault steering 2. 5.12 positioning junction also too close to black car and when turning right there was a grey car coming. 3. 6:59 too close to car steering wrong way parallel parking 4. Use of gears as kept changing down to gear 1 on a number of occasions when can easily turn into the road in 2nd gear as you would end up slowing down unnecessarily when there are cars behind you. I believe as it happened few times would count as serious fault. Example when at the roundabout signs towards Dudley went down to gear one when not required as it was clear to go.
SERIOUS FAULTS! Fault 1 - 3:15 - Overall Steering Control, Too Close too Parked Vehicles on the left & went to close to centre island. Fault 2 - 4:47 - Went through red light that she thought was for traffic behind her. Fault 3 - 5:13 - Positioning at left turn, instructor had to intervene and tell her too steer sharper. Fault 4 - 7:02 - Parallel Park Manoeuvre, Positioning, Steered the complete wrong way and was too far back already before even steering. Not a serious fault but has the bad habit of using the indicator when isn't necessary, ( indicating left after overtaking on a single lane road ) could lead to a Serious Fault as her use of the indicator is misleading too other road users and she gave so many misleading signals during this mock test so could in fact lead to a Serious. She definitely needs more work before ready for her actual Driving Test. Thankyou For this opportunity Pin was fun having to check for the faults 😁
serious Fault 1 3:15 as the instructor have to intervene serious fault 2 6:54 she almost hit the yellow car in front or front left almost hit the yellow car
5 serious faults Serious fault 1 4:21 , incorrect signaling. Could mislead others into thinking that she is parking, causing them to try and overtake. Serious fault 2 5:11, Setting off too early when it was not safe to progress. Serious fault 3 6:53, Poor car control. Serious fault 4 7:29 , forgetting to carry bind spot observations before reversing again. Serious fault 5 9:45, Incorrect signaling. Misleads other drivers into thinking she is making a turn into the new road on the right.
Serious Fault 1 - 3:17 - steering control Fault 2 - 5:13 positioning at traffic lights Fault 3 - 7:00 - clearance parallel park 50/50 serious for appropriate gear depending how many let offs u gave her. Potential serious clearance when moving away from parked car after 1st pull up on the left. 🤞🤞🤞 would love to win 🎄
i can confirm i brought a DGN Driving shoes this month.😮 Another pair would be nice. Yet to use them for a driving lesson, will do this next month hopefully after December holidays.😅 Has anyone else brought them and use them when driving? 3:13 control - steering Because you had to say to learner to steer more. 5:09 i can see why learner made this mistake, Car on front did this so this is a junction observation mistake. 6:40 steering control Clearance to park car too.
Minor - 2:09 - Not checking mirrors before speeding up Minor - 2:45 - Control - Not a serious because didn't stop but defo made car behind brake. Minor - 5:35 - signal should be reapplied but no one affected. Minor - 8:50 - Had to readjust manoeuvre Minor 9:00 - She notices its a right on a 1 way but swerving allover to figure it out (its 2 lanes and shes in the middle) Minor - 9:50 - misleading signal but didn't affect anyone. Could have easily been a serious Serious 1 - 3:15 - Steering. Serious 2 - 5:12 - Examiner intervene (turning right). I think it would have been fine tho as light was amber and middle lane was empty. Serious 3,4 - 7:05 - Steering, No rear or blind spot check before reversing. 8:00 SQUIRREL!
Fault 1 3:19 not steering properly, Fault 2 4:21: unwanted signalling, 4:52: not giving way, 6:12 poor control of car during manoeuvre, 9:08 incorrect positioning of vehicle before turning
Serious 1 @3:20 - control steering - nearly hit island Serious 2 @5:10 - failed reaction to traffic Serious 3 @6:50 - control steering/awareness - steering wrong way. 9:15 I think she's far enough to the right here that this isn't a serious for positioning? hard to tell
serious fault 1: 3:21 had to intervene due to poor steering which almost lead to her mounting the curb I think that would fall under control of car serious? fault 2: 4:25 not sure if this would be a minor or serious but she’s unnecessarily indicating? potentially confusing other drivers who think she’s parking (might just be over analysing it) serious fault 3: 5:09 this one is easy, had to intervene due to learner not stopping for oncoming traffic who have right of way I believe serious fault 4: steering instructor had to intervene also how did you get that camera angle? is there a poor guy standing outside with a tripod? 😂😂 serious fault 5: 1 way road can’t really see how far in the middle she is but it’s a failure to respond to road markings actually watching a bit further i’m not sure how well she is positioned fault 6: 9:57 too close to the bus maybe? I think that’s a serious fault but not sure P.S i’m only going off of what i’ve seen in driving test videos and from what my instructor told me on my mock test, I should’ve really looked up what you get marked down for but I’m too lazy and also I probably over analysed it way too much I am doubting a couple of them being serious faults like 2,5,6 but like I said didn’t read up on what is a serious or minor fault
1.50 minor fault 2.37 good driving 3.15 minor fault 3 .47 minor fault 4.20 good driving 5.11 minor fault 5.44 good driving 6.50 serious fault 9.10 Serious fault(middle of the road) 9.52 minor fault 10.50 Good driving
#1 good driving. #2 minor driving. #3 minor driving. #4 bad driving. #5 minor driving. #6 minor driving. #7 good driving. #8 bad driving. #9 good driving. #10 good driving. #11 bad driving. #12 minor driving. #13 minor driving. From Liam McCourt
These ‘driving tests’ are just becoming ridiculous!! Not one of my pupils would commit these faults and some have only had 2 hours tuition!! You’re either shit as an instructor or staging your clips!!!!
Ik this video is about spotting the serious faults but the amount of times she kept going into 1st gear for turnings or slowing down when 2nd gear would be more better suited. I swear if u repeat the same minors a good few times the examiners do mark it as serious no?

Fault 1- 3:14- Steering
Fault 2- 5:10- Positioning
Fault 3- 6:50- Steering (control of the car)
You forgot the parallel park mate
fault 1 - 2:30 - speed/gear
fault 2 - 3:08 - steering
fault 3 - 4:52 - positioning
fault 4 - 6:13 - control/steering
Serious faults:
3:18 - Understeering; came too close to oncoming car.
Serious Fault 1 - 3:15 - Steering, Instructor had to step in
Serious Fault 2 - 5:12 - Not giving way to oncoming traffic on the crossroad
Serious Fault 3 - 7:04 - Parallel Park, steering the wrong way
Serious Fault 4 - 9:46 - Misleading Signal (Road users could have thought she was turning into the side road)
Fault 1 3:18 control of steering
Fault 3 5:13 positioning at traffic lights
Fault 3 6:59 too close to car clearance
I have my test tomorrow at 9.37am but the thing is that I may need to cancel my test just before it, because I have emergency eye surgery tomorrow from anytime between 8am to 1pm as my retina detached a few days ago and unable to see much at all from my right eye. I'm hoping the surgery happens later tomorrow so im able to do my test as I won't be able to drive for a long time after my surgery. Nonetheless, I love your videos pin they've been very useful and entertaining.
At 4:13 was it unnecessary to give way to the oncoming vehicle as there was enough space to pass (from what the camera perceives anyway)
Fault 1: around 3:09 - steering
Fault 2: around 5:00 - positioning
Fault 3: around 6:50 - poor control of the car
1. 3.17 serious fault steering
2. 5.12 positioning junction also too close to black car and when turning right there was a grey car coming.
3. 6:59 too close to car steering wrong way parallel parking
Thankyou For this opportunity Pin was fun having to check for the faults 😁
serious Fault 1 3:15 as the instructor have to intervene
serious fault 2 6:54 she almost hit the yellow car in front or front left almost hit the yellow car
5 serious faults
Serious fault 1 4:21 , incorrect signaling.
Serious
Fault 1 - 3:17 - steering control
Fault 2 - 5:13 positioning at traffic lights
Fault 3 - 7:00 - clearance parallel park
50/50 serious for appropriate gear depending how many let offs u gave her.
Potential serious clearance when moving away from parked car after 1st pull up on the left.
🤞🤞🤞 would love to win 🎄
i can confirm i brought a DGN Driving shoes this month.😮
Another pair would be nice.
Yet to use them for a driving lesson, will do this next month hopefully after December holidays.😅
Has anyone else brought them and use them when driving?
3:13 control - steering
Because you had to say to learner to steer more.
5:09 i can see why learner made this mistake,
Car on front did this so this is a junction observation mistake.
6:40 steering control
Clearance to park car too.
Minor - 2:09 - Not checking mirrors before speeding up
Minor - 2:45 - Control - Not a serious because didn't stop but defo made car behind brake.
Minor - 5:35 - signal should be reapplied but no one affected.
Minor - 8:50 - Had to readjust manoeuvre
Minor 9:00 - She notices its a right on a 1 way but swerving allover to figure it out (its 2 lanes and shes in the middle)
Minor - 9:50 - misleading signal but didn't affect anyone. Could have easily been a serious
Serious 1 - 3:15 - Steering.
Serious 2 - 5:12 - Examiner intervene (turning right). I think it would have been fine tho as light was amber and middle lane was empty.
Serious 3,4 - 7:05 - Steering, No rear or blind spot check before reversing.
8:00 SQUIRREL!
This is pretty fun to judge minor vs serious tbh. interesting.
Serious Fault 1 - 3:18 Control - Steering
Serious Fault 2 - 5:12 Judgement - Crossing
Serious Fault 3 - 7:00 Steering - Parallel Parking
Total Number of Serious Faults = 3
Hopefully I win!!!
F1 3:25 To fast to ride in the middle of the road without sight
F2 7:45 bad parallel parking😂
F3 9:17 in the middle of the road / wrong side
Fault 1 3:19 not steering properly, Fault 2 4:21: unwanted signalling, 4:52: not giving way, 6:12 poor control of car during manoeuvre, 9:08 incorrect positioning of vehicle before turning
She was about to go through the oncoming traffic they have priority so again it's a serious fault 5:12
Positioning, observation, parallel parking, lack of quick decisions are her faults.
Well fault number 1 is sitting too low, driver’s seat needs raising up
Serious 1 @3:20 - control steering - nearly hit island
Serious 2 @5:10 - failed reaction to traffic
Serious 3 @6:50 - control steering/awareness - steering wrong way.
9:15 I think she's far enough to the right here that this isn't a serious for positioning? hard to tell
Fault 1- 3:09- Steering
Fault 2-5:00- Positioning
Fault 3-6:50- Steering
serious fault 1: 3:21 had to intervene due to poor steering which almost lead to her mounting the curb I think that would fall under control of car
serious?
fault 2: 4:25 not sure if this would be a minor or serious but she’s unnecessarily indicating? potentially confusing other drivers who think she’s parking (might just be over analysing it)
serious fault 3: 5:09 this one is easy, had to intervene due to learner not stopping for oncoming traffic who have right of way I believe
serious fault 4: steering instructor had to intervene also how did you get that camera angle? is there a poor guy standing outside with a tripod? 😂😂
serious
fault 5: 1 way road can’t really see how far in the middle she is but it’s a failure to respond to road markings actually watching a bit further i’m not sure how well she is positioned
fault 6: 9:57 too close to the bus maybe? I think that’s a serious fault but not sure
P.S i’m only going off of what i’ve seen in driving test videos and from what my instructor told me on my mock test, I should’ve really looked up what you get marked down for but I’m too lazy and also I probably over analysed it way too much I am doubting a couple of them being serious faults like 2,5,6 but like I said didn’t read up on what is a serious or minor fault
5:32 driving very close to kerb although no traffic on the road
1.50 minor fault 2.37 good driving 3.15 minor fault 3 .47 minor fault 4.20 good driving 5.11 minor fault 5.44 good driving 6.50 serious fault 9.10 Serious fault(middle of the road) 9.52 minor fault 10.50 Good driving
Serious fault to close to incoming cars positioning observations parallel parking steering control of the car that's all her faults
3.17 driving in over side The Road :) :D
5.13 didnt stop safety, close near accident
When parallel parking she steeras to the right and the car was about to hit the parked car on left so serious 6:54
7??
Didn't check the timings lol
She’s not doing six point checks at all😮
7.03 wrong wheel turn, too close near another car then she doing parking maneuvre
👍👍👍
#1 good driving. #2 minor driving. #3 minor driving. #4 bad driving. #5 minor driving. #6 minor driving. #7 good driving. #8 bad driving. #9 good driving. #10 good driving. #11 bad driving. #12 minor driving. #13 minor driving. From Liam McCourt
She was about to go on kerb so you have to intervene serious fault 3:17
These ‘driving tests’ are just becoming ridiculous!! Not one of my pupils would commit these faults and some have only had 2 hours tuition!! You’re either shit as an instructor or staging your clips!!!!
Too many sweats in the comments
Is that a crack in the windscreen, plus is this a mocking the lesson not a mock test
Fault 1 - 03:18 steering
Fault 2 - 3:45 positioning
Fault 3 - 05:13 judgement at crossroad
Fault 4 - 05:33 steering
Fault 5 - 07:05 clearance
