I’ve finally entered the team of “I’ve passed my test and I am still watching your videos”. I’ve passed 2 weeks ago, first attempt with only 3 minors. I have done a lot of hours and I’ve started with HUGE fear of driving. I actually was thinking that driving might be not for me and now after driving for 2 weeks myself… I can totally say: I LOVE IT, this is my therapy, I am obsessed with manual gearbox and I am so happy I’ve done it. Aman, you are a treasure and you helped me A LOT. Thank you ❤️ I have a list of successful girls/women that I am very proud of and you are one of them. Sure, but why the left blind-spot check? I see so many learners doing it, and I don't understand why. What are they looking for? There will never be anything there of concern to the driver; it's just a waste of time.
Diana is a good driver but needs to improve in some areas. The big concern at this point is roundabouts. She needs to work on approaching the exit at the right time and selecting the correct lane for that exit. Her junction observations are really good, it's just the roundabouts that she needs to improve on.
I saw a video where you did every entry and exit of a major roundabout near a test centre (can't remember which one) and you gave me the advice which made it click. Follow the line on your left and it will make you spiral out towards your exit because thats the way theyre designed to work. Makes it nuch simpler knowing that

I didn’t had any lessons or mock tests before test all i did was just watch 4,5 of your videos which was fortunately enough for me to get through it in the first attempt. Although i drove in uk for 4 months with my international drivers license..

Could you make a video on roundabout lane changing ? Some roundabouts have faded lane marking which make it difficult to see the while line on the left hand side.
Hi Aman, I have a genuine question regarding the UK standard of driving. I’ve been a driver for several years in another country and obtained my full UK driving license a year ago. However, there’s one aspect of driving in the UK that I can’t quite wrap my head around: the requirement to check mirrors before signaling. On one hand, signaling doesn’t imply immediate action - it’s done well in advance, like when approaching a turn. On the other hand, this requirement seems to suggest that there might be situations observed in your mirrors where you shouldn’t signal. For the life of me, I can’t imagine a scenario where something seen in the mirror would prevent me from signaling my intentions on the road. Could you shed some light on this requirement? It’s quite baffling, even for an experienced driver like myself.

I find Aman's instructions re roundabouts very confusing. She says '3rd exit right'. If you are going clockwise then ALL the exits off a roundabout are to the left!?
I think where Diana got a serious fault is an extremely difficult roundabout and to be fair to her she was following her lanes correctly but granted she should of just gone around and not try and make that exit.. that’s not an easy roundabout at all.
I once tried driving a car with the steering wheel on the right side and got completely lost, 'cause here in Brazil it's all left sided and it was kinda confusing to drive with a car on the opposite side

from what my instructor has told me while i’ve been learning it’s fine to slightly go over mini round abouts like that (wheel going over on one side) if it means it’s more safe and wouldn’t be a minor mark? at least i think that’s what they told me
Look at these 2, Izzy and Richard. Driving test. Shown these 2, 10 different driving instructors who all agreed that Izzy was the better and safer driver over Richard
Results from driving instructors. Have to do right, have to. Richard speeding, failing to park, not looking in his mirrors. One driving instructor, (Clearview Driving) stated to me, had you been paid to say Richard was the better driver. I said to him/driving instructor. No, because I believed you hadn’t. More look at it, more unsure of it, weather you had been paid by Richard to say he was the better driver. All 10 driving instructors, (had to do right ask) driving instructors all 10 agreed Izzy was the better safer driving over Richard. 2 different driving instructors stated, this is common practice. Men make mistakes while driving (doesn’t get picked up) woman makes half a mistake does. This gets picked up. That’s why over 75% of accidents/crashes are caused by men drivers, is because men mistakes aren’t picked up

Diana, scary Roundabouts there! You'll have to go get those sorted before your Test, a lot of Learners fail on those big roundabouts.

I believe you're writing this because you have to turn left into the exit, but this is about the position of the exit relative to your entry.
