Why I will not buy the BYD Seal right now ... *Blunt throttle response which is noticeable in all modes. *Hated the turn indicator sound and various chimes, it was a pain. *No built-in maps and navigation, which is a big miss for a car in this segment. *The software was a bit buggy. *Most of the controls are through the main screen, which is a major distraction and a safety concern. *HUD is useless in bright light and only displays current speed. I would have preferred a proper instrument cluster; this one is small and is busy with too much information on a small screen. Though I didn’t scrape anywhere, it will be a pain on slightly larger speed breakers and on bad roads.
This video helps me to select the car.. I didn’t even try to test drive byd and booked Tesla due to the charging speed and personal interior preferences. 👍👍 handling vice… I’m not sure. But next car will be BMW if I want better handling.
@taichooyee TESLA 11KW AC charge only works on 3 Phase TNB. When using Single Phase, it's only 7KW AC like BYD. And you forgot to mention TESLA'S acoustic/double glazed glass is almost two times thicker than BYD.

今天,我也去试驾了BYD Seal 总的来说他的动力输出真的是来的很快,冲击力真的强。我一踩电门,就pick-up 到很快那一瞬间我是真的懵了那种。他的功能方面我觉得可以说是非常完善齐全的。当然,Tesla 也是够齐全了啦。找机会想要Test Model 3 才可以真正的做一次比较。 总体来说,外形方面帅,内饰就很多还保留原有传统的按键使用起来倒是觉得很不错 360 camera 够清楚,推挡的那个柄,有质感还有就是最满意他的speaker 有超级多的。 但我还是喜欢Model 3的简单化设计,连换牙直接在屏幕里换我是觉得挺新奇的东西很想要去体验的。
Strongly agree on your opinion regarding 2 distinct target audiences. I think Tesla is for people who are truly passionate in the tech of EV cars, the occasional quirky meme Easter eggs and the ultimate vision of the Tesla company. Tesla owners generally display initiatives in gaining deeper understanding of their cars. The lack of pushy salesman creates a community of knowledgeable and invested people. Only people who really likes a Tesla will go thru all the process by their own initiative to go and get one. On the other hand, BYD owners are generally not so concerned on the specifics, and are more concerned of the end driving experience and practicality. They don't care too much about being cool, and BYD is undeniably more practical, they are just in my opinion very uncool. Personally, the community matters. As the EV scene is still new in MY, we often seek information from Owner's groups, and along the way make new friends too.
Tesla namba one, totally agree on different market target for different brand. As Tesla is not actually empty in terms of interior like everyone is saying, this is call minimalist. Also I prefer Tesla as even though the interior is "empty" but the software are way better than BYD. Do you prefer a lot of interior buttons but without proper functions and also you only get the same thing the moment you get the car whereas compare to Tesla where not much is on the interior but there are so many things in the software that will improve and evolve in the 7-9 years of your ownership. Where I will feel like I always get new things even though I've been owning the car for many years, may not be for everyone as some prefer comfort zone. :) Good comparison and review. But sadly to hear that Tesla will be most affected was due to European safety rating which majority people wants to bring back physical buttons while touchscreen is still needed that’s for safety. So the question is that did you think is touchscreen without physical buttons is still safe to ride especially there is no dashboard or did you think that physical buttons with touchscreen including dashboard is safer to ride where majority not only here including everywhere else in other countries prefer over touchscreen without physical buttons. Besides, yes Tesla is no.1 but unfortunately Tesla needed to improve on for reliability including recently news that Tesla will be upgrading to different type of batteries to prevent caught fire, which have already lost their crown to BYD recently. Just stating facts as I have been car fans for many years
for the EU thing, if you notice not like Tesla doesn't give you any buttons in fact you can customize your steering buttons to do other stuffs iirc, as Tesla gives you what you need on the steering and the ones that are not necessarily useful during driving are all on the touchscreen. On the batteries, in future when Tesla find a breakthrough on batteries and as long your Tesla is still under warranty they will help swap with new battery tech without charges. That is what is currently happening with older Teslas. But provided your car is still under warranty. @@user-tu7kl4yc7r

@@hotchwing特斯拉不知道。我个人很大的一个no no就是他们用camera而不是Lidars。这对于我来说是一个巨大的安全隐患,也极其不方便。camera要依赖视觉识别,而且停车场车后面要走出来的人都看不到的,Lidar 绝对是最安全的选择。先不说Tesla之前因为视觉识别失败出过致死车祸 就说停车场或者其他地方闪避物体后面的人或动物,用雷达的就吊打用摄像头的。而且我看英国人的使用感受,在湿润的气候里camera经常不久后就不起作用了(被水汽或者泥挡住),且特斯拉没有camera雨刷或者清洁系统。想想就恐怖。这些对于Lidars都完全不是问题。可是Musk太固执了,不愿意换Lidars。

我表哥买不久的model3 long range里程数得看你怎么驾,充电不能满而且他最高跑到480km左右而已要上500km都很难了
Seal的Regen是你踩break的时候它会用那个动力去发电,和one pedal不一样,并不是没有regen,它就和驾传统油车的驾驶感受是一样的。
等下,我從來就沒有說「沒有 Regen」,這邊指的是兩個 Regen 模式的差別不大。
比亚迪不去做单踏板应该是和早期比亚迪大巴有关,中国大陆"刹车失灵"最早的报道就是比亚迪大巴.后期是直接在刹车旁边加摄像头来解决这个问题的🤣就连特斯拉也在23年OTA把原本删除的动能回收可调给加回来了.
因为BYD的regen整合到了刹车系统了,踩刹车系统根据刹车力度调整regen强度,这样子油车切换过来的不需要任何学习成本

个人觉得内饰绝对seal比较吸引眼球,可是我觉得迟早有看腻的一天,总会有更美的内饰出来。反而tesla内饰就是这样,看腻了自己买一些配件“装修”自己的车内饰,然后长期用ota一直有新功能,反而使用体验更好。
有自己的充电网络,还帮你想好了充电的30分钟你可以做什么消遣,可以看netflix,玩小游戏。可能有些人觉得反正也只是看手机可是在tesla还有其他选项。
可是空间方面真的seal完胜,如果还是喜欢tesla只好买model y了。
青菜萝卜各有所好,我觉得没有最好的车,只有最适合自己的车

因为tesla的强动能回收的功能在中国造成了很多的误操作而导致的车祸,所以没有中国车企跟进tesla的one pedal模式,因为中国没有哪个车企可以像tesla一样出了很多车祸还能坚挺的继续卖车。另外one-pedal会导致坐车的人很容易晕车,所以tesla是个自己开的很爽,坐的人很不爽的车,尤其后排就是挺灾难的。
另外byd的crbs是众多车企里面调试的很好的,他就是要追求既有动能回收又会让坐车的人感觉到像坐ice car的舒适感,因为byd大部分的车子都是更偏向于家用而不是单纯自己开的爽。

你要知道视频中的Tesla 椅子已经加了RM5000 才拿到白色的椅子,如果不加钱是很普通的灰色椅子,和Myvi 椅子差不多,直接跟豪华没有关系了。BYD Seal 是完全不用加钱就能拿到的配置
原來 Myvi 椅子有發熱通風和腰部支撐

Tesla目前在大陆确实难卖了,主要是年初价格杀完Tesla没跟上,比亚迪和Tesla其实不算是直接对手,比亚迪的主力车型也不是seal,走量也以DMI为主,EV占比其实不高,比亚迪现在主要是在和丰田本田日产大众之类的油车在竞争市场,目前纯油车在大陆的销量下个月大概率会低于50%。
这两台车都没有天窗遮阳帘。热带地区不能忍。空调相对来说不是特别凉
路遥知马力,TESLA的功能,电网支援和efficiency, 懂的都懂,时间久了就知道了

差不多算没有,Tesla只有建议。每1万公里做轮胎对调,外面做也可以。两年换aircon filter,自己DIY换也可以,接下来是4年检查刹车油。

But sadly to hear that Tesla will be most affected was due to European safety rating which majority people wants to bring back physical buttons while touchscreen is still needed that’s for safety. So the question is that did you think is touchscreen without physical buttons is still safe to ride especially there is no dashboard or did you think that physical buttons with touchscreen including dashboard is safer to ride where majority not only here including everywhere else in other countries prefer over touchscreen without physical buttons. Besides, yes Tesla is no.1 but unfortunately Tesla needed to improve on for reliability including recently news that Tesla will be upgrading to different type of batteries to prevent caught fire, which have already lost their crown to BYD recently. Just stating facts as I have been car fans for many years
for the EU thing, if you notice not like Tesla doesn't give you any buttons in fact you can customize your steering buttons to do other stuffs iirc, as Tesla gives you what you need on the steering and the ones that are not necessarily useful during driving are all on the touchscreen. On the batteries, in future when Tesla find a breakthrough on batteries and as long your Tesla is still under warranty they will help swap with new battery tech without charges. That is what is currently happening with older Teslas. But provided your car is still under warranty. @@user-tu7kl4yc7r
seal 会比model 3 性价好,model 3后面的银幕有点鸡肋,seal比model 3 舒服,老一代的人很不适合驾tesla,不容易去习惯,tesla 软件要钱的

Tesla V2L 的function很快就会来了。包括Vehicle-to-Vehicle。 虽然BYD外观比较sporty和美,但是我还是觉得Tesla的科技比较高一筹。哪怕2017design的车,但到现在, over the air update让你的车一直保持up to date.
