Well at church we have singers, the band etc. but now I need your assistance in what I will need when I want to record good quality of them singing and the band at the same time. They sing in front and I am at the back in the sound engineering console so what is it that I need to produce quality audio and videos. Like what software's, what gadgets etc. Thank you for your help. Hope you understand what I am trying to say 🤣🤣🤣
sir thank you so much i have always enjoyed your contents it has been really helpfull but please do a video on a complete sound system setup..including mics instruments,di boxs, speaker connections and processing(main and sub bus compressor and limiter). and should subs on aux or crossover??
Thanks so much, your comment means a lot. I didn’t really talk about sound as much because our system is not that impressive but we do plan to do a sound overhaul one day in the future and I will definitely do it then.
Loved this walk-through! I had a question about your OKX. I bought one on the recommendation of this video. However, it seems like our MacBook Pro (2017) can't handle outputting three screens (main, stage, switcher) through that hub. I wanted to know: What the processing specs were on that iMac (cores, RAM, GHz, etc)? Thanks!
Great Video and learned a lot. For your wash light the Source four Jr, would really like to see how you use the blue Gel filter on it. and how many of them do you have in as your front light?
Love the video!!🔥 Would it be possible to see a copy of the checklists? Want to try to implement something similar I checked the site, but it's not there
Nice! Just a quick question. My Church just got the p16s for the Musicians. However, We're also got some for the singers too. An issue that we have is that it feels as if we don't have enough slots for the p16s, given that we need to hear the instruments, Pastor, AND the individual singers. We've also wanted to implement our talkback mics + ambient mic + click channels, but any ideas on reducing space? Any help would be appreciated!
We have to setup our vocals minus the lead on a bus and send that vocal bus to a p16 channel. This save several channels as well as not sending all 9 drum mics. Just 3 for drums. (Kick, snare, and OH)
Someone is mixing the stream. Same room for now using decent over-ear headphones. Working towards moving all of that to a separate room. Thanks for watching!
I put a link in the description to the actual product. It allows us to have up to 5 monitors total. This includes, main display, confidence monitor, live stream (lyrics for live stream) and where ever else.
I saw at :18, you have a label with an Alexa command to turn on/off your amps. Is that command associated with some sort of smart plug outlet back in your amp rack that turns on/off everything? If so, that's genius!!
So we are a church in North Carolina that has turned a gym into a sanctuary for our church. Would be cool if you wanted to make a trip this way to show people how to convert a gym like we have. let me know and I can show you our setup and go from there. Blessings!!
That would be really cool. What you saw in this video used to be a full functioning church basketball gym as well. Let's connect through worshipleaderhangout.com or on our Facebook page.
Loved this video!! Y’all should seriously check out and try to do a behind the scenes tour at Sevier Heights Church in Knoxville Tennessee!! It’s so amazing there
@@WorshipLeaderHangout I live and lead worship at a church in Atlanta, but I’m gonna be moving to Knoxville, in August and will be attending and trying to get involved there!! I just really love their worship. It’s very intentional
Dude, how much is it to get you to Vegas for a week? Our entire everything needs therapy! I'm kidding! You don't need to come to Vegas but I really like how organized your system is. I've been working on our system for quite some time and ... well ... it still needs a lot of therapy.
We had our drummer run track a while back but I had a bass player want to start doing them while we were in-between consistent drummers. We have it setup to move over to the drummer if needed.
another drummer in a cage, only in church worship groups. time for drummers to unite and get let out of the cage, we are musicians too. no reason to be in these silly things. Profesional drummers don't use them. even in the studio they aren't always used. drummers in a cage, guitar amps hidden in some dark room some where. can't wait for this fad to be over with so we can let musicians be properly heard the way they need to be. again professionals don't set up this way. (you have been to concert lately?) I've been playing for over 56 years and never been so insulted as to have a non-musician just my tone.
Ok, I see the “Alexa, turn on/off amps”… how are y’all doing that? Can you send the link to what you use?
And has it been reliable?
I’m using a heavy duty WiFi plug. Yes it works well. This is the one I use. Formally TP-Link, now Kasa. amzn.to/3zHQFFq
Great Video! Intro was 🔥. Been a huge fan since the early days 😁
You’re the best. Sorry I had to get off the phone in a hurry earlier. Talk to you tomorrow maybe.
Cool to see a church in SC also!
Hey Chad, If you would, I'd like to know more about what gels you used to whiten your lights.
Hello sir

Any chance of getting a copy of the check lists to adapt to our church?
Great video! Awesome to see CMG represented. We're cheering you on!

Waiting to see a video about the new lighting on stage 😃 (12:15)
I’m a nerd for tech but as a children’s pastor I’d love to see y’all’s children’s church and all
This is a great idea. Thanks for watching!
What are you running for your main speakers
Great Video and learned a lot. For your wash light the Source four Jr, would really like to see how you use the blue Gel filter on it. and how many of them do you have in as your front light?
names on the stage is also a great idea
Do your lights with the blue gels look blue in house or do they look white? Interested in doing the same at my church
15:16 Aye i got that same snare and i use it in church to 🔥🔥🔥
Hey Chad, great video. Do you mind adding information about the Hitachi Projector you talked about towards the end of the video?
We used the same "Happy Easter" graphic!
Thats cool. Love that CMG stuff!
Love the video!!🔥 Would it be possible to see a copy of the checklists? Want to try to implement something similar
I checked the site, but it's not there
I’m in the process of rewriting all of them and making a little video about it soon. Go back to the site and send me an email. I’ll send you a sample
Awesome video! can you please share a detailed photo of your checklists at the sound booth. thanks

Hey Chad, we have been having issues with sling studio with audio and video quality, and we wanted to see if you could help us.
I luv worship🙏keep working for the lord🙏
I will. Thanks for watching!
Would it be possible to see a copy of those checklists? Working on something similar
yeah, that's a good idea. I'll get a digital download on worshipleaderhangout.com. If you don't see it in a couple days just remind me.
@@WorshipLeaderHangout wondering if you still may be able to post the checklists?
How does your live stream work? Are you controlling it from the M32 or is someone mixing in the same room for stream?
Someone is mixing the stream. Same room for now using decent over-ear headphones. Working towards moving all of that to a separate room. Thanks for watching!
Thank You for this video.
Can you give some more information on the OKX box you are using for the displays from the MacBook?
I put a link in the description to the actual product. It allows us to have up to 5 monitors total. This includes, main display, confidence monitor, live stream (lyrics for live stream) and where ever else.
We are at Bridgeway Church, in Greenville SC!!!!
Thanks for the tour - Did you create your Logic template or did you purchase?
We created it. Thanks for watching!
Heh Chad, what size is your stage? I see the segments. Are those each 4x8? Trying to plan for a building project. Thanks!
yes, they are 4x8 portable stage sections. We are currently do 16'x32' with one 4x8 section out front.
“It’s actually me” AHAHAHAHAHA
I saw at :18, you have a label with an Alexa command to turn on/off your amps. Is that command associated with some sort of smart plug outlet back in your amp rack that turns on/off everything? If so, that's genius!!
YES YES YES. You nailed it. It's best to use a "heavy duty" smart plug. I started with a regular one and it failed after about 3 months.
@@WorshipLeaderHangout that’s awesome! can you say which plug you ended up going with?

This is awesome! We are in the middle of a stage lighting redo, besides the lights you talked about on your stage in this video do you use any others?
I use a generic 8 channel LED par on the side walls and also in the crowd. Thats about it. Thanks so much for watching!

Why doesn't the drummer run the tracks?

Nearly impossible to get your hands on sling studio gear. Sadly, the company (Dish Network) has left it to die. Go ATEM instead.
To bad I skipped the ad
