Wow! Great video. I’m no longer gonna spend $100k on an LED wall. Instead I’m gonna buy 30 more WINGs for personal monitoring. Love how this channel saves me money.
😂
Not to toot your own horn or anything… 😂
You’re awesome! 😂
😅
Great 😃👍
This dude spent 9 minutes talking about triangle pillars and I have never been more fascinated
"Jake shows his Sandals" ----- Man this is pure genius!!!! God bless the people behind the design... it always amazes me what the people of God can accomplish with the wisdom that he gives us... I honestly thought you guys were using an LED wall or a combination of flat panels... Mind blown right now!
God gave this wisdom to the Greeks about 2000 years ago.
Very cool. The triangles were actually used in ancient Greece theatre, they are called periaktos. This word literally means revolving.
Amazing ❤️❤️ may our father bless y'all even more
not that bad for real, we build Flexible LED Screens for a decade now also for churches and can really say that the Projector Use is way more uncomplicated when it comes to Transport and Assembly. Surely the Outdoor/Brightness Point 😁 no need to discuss. Anyways for Churches is a affordable Solution, thank´s for the Informal Video God Bless ✝
The words BUDGET FRIENDLY means different in different places. Can't even get the projector for my church, not even my church can pay for that, wait alone a camera.
I am always following, keep the great work man. I serve at Iganga Gospel Church in Uganda, Africa as head of media. Your videos spark creativity though creativity without resources/capital has big big limitations. Will keep on praying until my vision for my church comes to happen.
We picked up some surplus 4:3 format projectors - 1024x768. They are AWESOME for edge blending as 16:9 can be too skinny. Double bonus - few people want them so you can get even new ones at a significant discount.
You don't have to have the latest and greatest, or even new for that matter. Biggest thing - check replacement bulb cost and availability. Some projectors have ridiculous bulb assemblies that have to be replaced along with the bulb - when scrounging for cheap projectors it wasn't uncommon to find ones with bulbs that would have cost more than what I could have paid for the projector! And if you do get older units, try to get at least one if not two replacement bulbs for spares just in case the bulbs do dry up. If I could find bulbs that were used in multiple projector models I tended to gravitate towards those kinds of projectors since the bulbs are more likely to be made if more projectors used the same bulb.
Just a few ideas on how to still get good results on the cheap. If you have any church members that are in construction, get tied in with them for surplus when buildings get taken down - especially schools. We got a ton of free ceiling mounted screens from buildings being demoed.
Good luck and happy hunting!
Very nice - we recently did something similar for projection and it works great. Our wall is big enough it took three projectors to cover it - there is a bit of an art to getting edge blending to work in Pro Presenter, but if you are persistent you can eventually get really good results. Pro 7 has awesome native NDI support; it's nice to be moving all digital.
As an aside - I hope the wood, fabric and other construction materials on the stage have been treated for fire retardancy. We don't need a repeat of The Station nightclub fire in churches! I'm astounded by the dismissiveness I often run into when bringing the subject up - it's rather mind boggling for such a critical and easy to remedy potential problem.
This reminds me of how we use to do stage design for Christmas plays when I was younger. 3 Scenes painted on wood placed on triangles to easily turn. Our panels were smaller to make them easier to turn.
Big fan of your work!! To God be the Glory, thanks for sharing.
Wow. This is genius. Thanks a lot for for showing this. God bless you more and more
That's some handy design. Nice work.
You're a genius. You landed me a solution to my age long troubles.
Thanks.👍🏼
Man built some Periaktoi without even realising it, lol. Love it.
😂 dang I really though we had invented the wheel.
@@Churchfront Still love the ingenuity! And they look great too!
Hay! Jake, It is so an Awesome idea.
Thank you for sharing.
1. Link to the floodlights, please (4:53)
2. Also the camera did not show some of what you were describing: two side panels (3:37), two-foot bottom (4:24), i-hooks (5:47 - 6:15), the creases of the wash light (6:18).
Really though, thank you for sharing.
Also what would be your thoughts for lighting a low ceiling stage (5m high, 5m wide, and 5m deep)? The stage wall is a dull brown wood panel with a pattern on it.
You could boost the reflectivity by repainting it with projector screen paint.
I love the way it looks, I’m also wanting some thing simalar set up , how that looks
Such an AMAZING video! Thank you!!
Exactly what I’ve been looking for
Hey great video and fantastic idea. By any chance were you able to get hold of the schematic for the design, I just know it would be helpful for the person we get to build the stage design.
Step 1 get a larger stage so u can start having some fun :o
I will do that thanks pastor
Wow, brilliant...thanks for the info!
Hey Jake. Are you guys still using the same projector you initially installed for your video wall?
Thanks for this video. Useful. My question is : if you can make a chroma key using this background, showing the Green light on projector?
Why didn't you just project a pallet image onto the wall?
What projector the links broken
You mentioned your video wall was 10x20 and the projector has an aspect ratio of 16:10 so how did you resize the image to fit the wall?
On the projector go to settings and quick corners and adjust to the screen size
Love your channel😍
Awesome. Where is the b roll? I thought I would see more of it in action.
How far/high should the projector be for this? Trying to see if we could do something similar in our worship center!
I love this idea wow!!!
This is brilliant Jake. I’m curious if you guys use Hayes does it affect the quality of the short throw projector on the back wall
What a great idea. I came across this video and I was wowed. God bless you guys.
However, what is the software used to project the video background called?
You could make some really easy paper-mache boulders and then buy a bunch of plastic baby dolls to dash on the rocks.
Oh thank you... This is beautiful.... Can do out door
Looks great! thanks for sharing
I’ve got a corner stage in our youth center and need some ideas on the best way to handle that
Wow, this is wow I Am wowed
That's some genius design
We’ll done!
Nice video. How close to the wall can you get without crossing the projection?
The video projector link is broken. Any suggestions for short-throw projectors? Which one is used in this video?
Nice video
Pls which software do you use for your lightening system??
What was the actual cost for the setup?
So awesome man! Thank you so much for sharing this!!!
Do you have any guidance for short throw projections.
How would I be able to tell what I need? What height length and distance would I need to calculate for the right projector. Thanks so muc
This is what I used at my church to get an idea. www.projectorcentral.com/projection-calculator-pro.cfm
The manual for the projector should be available online, and there is always a chart showing you the minimum and maximum recommended distances.
Great. Two more things I can think of. What screws did you use to screw the projection board into the wood and also, how visible are they when you have something on the screen or did you hid them somehow?
@@stoochy1 I would personnally limit the number of screws into the material. This board is about 1/8 thick and is very similar to whiteboards you find in classrooms. It can easily be attached with liquid nail and tacking the corner with screws. I would personally attach a layer of underlayment material first with screws to give more surface area and then attach the white board using liquid nail.
Do you design a projector screen for your projector or find a projector that fits your screen.
Also, when hanging it high (limitation of building) is there too much angle that ruins the image? I know there is keystone but doesn’t it repair everything. :).
Hi ! I am thinking about doing similar thing for our church. Where can I watch more vids of this church service? I want to show it to our church members
amazing
So the manufacturers and projector salesmen would say that this projector is no good for this size of a "screen"...but it seems to work anyway? Anyone confirm this?
Храни вас Бог
What specific lights are you using above the screen and also the cans on the side of the stage that are on stands?
Ok but how does they project they project the video from the projector as led screen details pls
This is straight fire.
What a great idea! I love the concept of the triangle. @churchfront what mic is Jake using? I'm looking for a good but inexpensive mic.
how far does a band member have to be from the screen to make sure that they are not blocking the projector.. I know it all has to do with the angles, but I would imagine they would have to be a good distance from the back drop.
Maybe 4-5ft
Nice !!!!
This is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
Question for position of projector. Is it 12 ft from the stage and 11ft off the ground? Did I understand that correctly?
Also -- do you have any links to your church's YT so I can check out what it looks like Sunday to Sunday?
I’m also asking the same
Can someone please answer the question? I also need to know 😊
ruclips.net/p/PLCWnNSTN-6XDc9n6d8dhCgZ11LOJxKXCr
what software you are using?
Thank you.
I feel like with Pro7 and a decklink you should be able to send all the data you need from 1 instance of propresenter.... I guess another pro7 license is cheaper than a decklink tho in an enclosure though.
More has to do with limitations of looks and layers.
Hello what are the dimensions for the wood and how did you create the base?
Great video; How do I source the Eucatile from Nigeria? Is Melamine tile wall panel same material with the Eucatile?
Amazon.com
How high above the screen the projector is?
Our church stage height (floor to ceiling) is just over 10’andna few inches.
We’d like our video wall to be as big as possible. Suggestions?
This is good!
So this triangle structure idea is nothing new. This is used in theater. This was used eons and eons ago as a means of being able to change background scenes usually it's covered in Muslim and people will paint on it. Very nicely done!
Will this projector be ok in room where it is not dark?
What type of camera shooting toward to cover the whole screen??
Nice 👍🏾
What is the lighting program used?
Lightkey
Link to the projector no longer works
I am also hoping to get an answer on that. What is the model of the projector?
What was that editing app
Please what other material can I use in place of the Eucatile since I can't get access to it where I stay.
Paint
Do you have the drawings?
Where can we buy connector that can support pro presenter extended? Thank you
50ft HDMI cable. Or HDMI to SDI converter and that can run much longer
Dope💯
LED walls from Mexico are great and cheaper
Wood pallets? Jake it’s 2021.
Anyone near Louisiana have this set up?
Green screen on the 3rd side.
Yeah…I dont have no one handy like that lol welp
Wow i thought its a led wall
Be careful using pressure treated wood indoors.
Why? I'm curious.. 🙂
@@jhananniverrosalejos8829 The chemicals they use to treat the wood is harmful if you were to inhale them
@@H-RutherfordHill ohh okay, thanks for the info!
So u do this for a performance? Cuz I'm not sure how this is helping people focus on the message from the preacher
It's used during the praise and worship and for scriptures or demonstrations that are being used when the pastor is presenting his message/ sermon
hey @churchfront gonna echo @zimbo4life... On the website it says that projector can only cover 120 inches and that screen is about 280 inches so does it cover all of it & how?
Ha I don’t know 🤷♂️. But it works. I think those are the “recommended” coverage dimensions for optimal brightness and sharpness. But it just so happens to work for us casting the image on a larger area.
@@Churchfront Thanks! Amazon's description says 116 inches, Epson says 120, Churchfront says 280... I'll go with actual experience over instructions any day 😂
The 120 inches is recommended. It is based off lumens per inch. The bigger you go, the dimmer it will be because the light has to cover more space.
@@bradleysanker5625 thanks Bradley!
@@bradleysanker5625 how far away does the projector have to be to keep from being blocked by the vocalist on the stage
Third!
Lol isn't that just drywall?
First!
Thanks for the demo! God bless you bro and know that Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, has given His life for your sake. Because of His great and deep love for you personally, God Himself became a man to pay for humanity's debt by dying in our place on the cross, and that man is Jesus Christ. God's love cannot and will not go against His own righteousness, so as Judge and Owner of His creation, our debt of sin had to be paid for, but only He could pay it because only He is righteous. And He didnt have to pay for our debt of sin but He chose to for our benefit. Yet we rejoice because our God is alive and well because He ressurected from the cross and conquered death so we could have eternal life, so just as Himself, those who believe will die but we will live again forever more in peace and joy in heaven. For the eternal God has paid for our eternal debt in hell by dying on the cross so we could have eternal life with Him in Heaven (John 17:3). Repent ( turn ) from your sins and turn to Jesus and He will surely forgive you. Follow Jesus for He is a GREAT Savior and Comforter in good and bad times (read the book of John in the Bible to know Him, it is Jesus' life History, He is the Word of God in the flesh, He is God Himself in the flesh). And we do not use His unconditional grace and forgiveness as an excuse to sin, even though we are not perfect, but I desire to devote every ounce of my being to following Jesus, the One who loves me and forgives me. When I sin I am deeply grieved, I lament and repent, turning back to Him, and He righteously forgives me because He has paid for my sin. We do not serve Him to earn His love, we serve Him because He loved us first (1 John 4:18-19). When He came the first time as a man He came as a lamb to be slain in our place, but Jesus is coming back as conquering King, the Lion of Judah 🙏
1 John 1:8-9 KJV - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Romans 6:23 KJV - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
God's true faithful churches don't mess with any of this garbage. Modern worship teams are fully unbiblical.
What?! Please stop
How about not letting the church look like a concert hall
Please can I have a ig shoutout
Hello what software are you using???
