I often wonder why marathi speaking people who are born and raised in Maharashtra speak marathi with a Hindi accent once they get into Hindi film industry. Why can't they speak proper marathi. Why they speak as if they struggle to speak marathi.

Personal experience warun ek namud karawa watta- Ajubajuche lok jar marathi or local bhasha bolat nastil tar kalantarane farak padto, sope shabda athvat nahit karan te roz waparat nastat...

@@MrIamonnn could be. May be you are right. I have been living in an English speaking country for more than a decade. I am always surrounded by English speaking people. But I do not speak Marathi with an English accent.
