Tho this scene broke my heart (still does) it's one of my favorite. So well played, so well written. And I was happy to see Logan being the mature one for once. Everything he did was not great, but all of it done because he loved her, and since V wasn't willing to open up a bit (because she was freaked and run away after his "I love you") it was the right thing to do. Can't wait to watch the new season!!!!
It annoys me sometimes when people say: ''Veronica is to good for him''. Yes Logan can be a total jerk BUT I think Veronica showed what a TERRIBLE girlfriend she is in season 3.
I see a lot of comments about one of them being too good for the other. After rewatching the show, I believe that its not that one was better than the other but that maybe they both needed real time apart of deal with what they went through in high school, instead of going to the same college and staying in Neptune. Logan was a typical bad boy that treated others badly and bullied Veronica after Lily's death. On the other hand, his father killed his girlfriend after having an affair with her, his mother killed herself after his fathers affairs went public and he literally lost everything he owned in a fire (the show moved past it quickly). Veronica's best friend was killed and because her father (semi- correctly) was suspicious of Jake Kanes involvement, lost all of her friends in the process, her alcoholic mothers affair with Jake meant she not only lost Lily, but Duncan and her mum as well, she was bullied by Logan and the 09ers, she was almost killed by Logans dad, her dad was burned, her mum came back and after wasting her college money, stole another 50k, she was raped, blamed herself for the bus crash, was almost killed again, this time by Cassidy, all while being in high school. They both went through a huge amount and didn't have a real chance to grow at Hearst. Veronica had to learn to trust people again and accept help at times Logan had to realise that he was not his father and deserved to be loved. The reason I love the movie is that they both had a chance to do this.
The scene is sad but he deserved to be treated better, she never let him completely in and didn't appreciate him. Also she has those ridiculous standards she wants him to measure up to and it's stupid because she knew who and how he was when she started dating him. She needed to love him for who he was.
I hope we won't see any of this teenage immaturity in season 4. Back then, it was entertaining and felt so real, because they were both still coming of age, coming to terms with who they were, who they wanted to become and still learning to communicate with other people. Veronica had her fall out with Wallace in high school when he finally let her know how self-obsessed she could be. She understood it then, but it continued with Logan. She got annoyed whenever Logan mistreated her in any way and Logan would change for her, yet she was very stubborn about her own behavior. I hope in the new season she will be much more mature and will react much better when Logan acts as protectively of her as he has always done.
@@alexandrarais8204 This is all Rob Thomas hoo haa to justify what happened end Season 4 - V had no 'fall out' with Logan, just a conversation between two friends - my teens have them all the time with their friends and they are ALL self-centered at this age - Logan and V both give as much as they get in terms of baggage - this kind of comment sickens me...... no one deserves anyone and these high and mighty judgments - do not think for a minute they will serve you well in a relationship where it is path of the course to give more than you get and vica versa during different seasons in the journey.....
this makes me cry EVERY TIME! or at least wanna cry....but i'll say this; ppl need to learn how to break up with others by Logan...i mean CAN u really be breaking up with somebody with THAT MUCH SWEETNESS? *sniff* *sniff* damn, i really LOVE that character...ahh miss the show
You can see she is about to go in for a kiss at first but he doesn’t move so she plays it off. Also “but you never need anything” I’m so sad!!! Let them be happy please !!!
He tried to help her and protect her from the rapist but she got mad at him and at some point even ignored his calls. He felt rejected for no reason other than trying to help her. Basically she wasn't appreciating him enough, so they broke up.
His intentions were good but to have someone follow her as protection without her knowledge is scary. She had previously been raped and attacked, so all it did was scare her even more. I understand Logans intentions but the execution was off. I also understand Veronica's anger...she was terrified for days and not because the actual rapist was following her but because a bodyguard.
Don't forget that this happend after the 20th time he saved her and she was in danger.. then she did not let him help.. it was kind of inevitable. Made her realize that she shut him out for a long time...
Lol ya she always tries to claim she can take care of herself but she was literally never taken care of herself. Someone has always needed to save her.

What gets me the most is the part after when she breaks down in the shower... so sad.
How does a scene from 12 years ago hurt me still?
Same here. His "but you never need anything" still breaks me, no matter how many times I've seen this scene
She should have said something, tried to comfort him, told him she loved him. It's obvious he was in a lot of pain and insecure. Stupid Veronica.
Oh, the pain I'm feeling now...
My heart :(((
