Nice work again Jordan, it looks that tool does a better job than knocking the seam over with a hammer and dolly, looking forward to the rest of the build. Cheers Greg
looking Great .. lot's of work folding over the edge will have to try that .. I did hammer and dolly on a older tahoe doors .. the tool you made looks like it makes it easy .. thumbs up ..
i restored a 29 roster for a lawyer 52 years ago. i tried to talk him into letting me pull in the rear door jamb until the door fit against the bottom as it would have from the factory. Over the years the body would tend to widen out from the rough roads of the past to the point the bottom of the door at the rear would stick out. He wouldn't let me do it, so his sticks out. You needed to pull the top of the body in and replace the wood with welded square tubing to hold it in place. just sayun
Great project. Nice videos and music. I find the whole family starts watching over my shoulder and get interested in what you are making. Kids are asking why you have that ugly devil on the wall.
Jordan, why fully restore that hole area, if you restore it then it will probably be better than factory. If you halfass the job then it will be, well, halfassed. Just an old coots thought.
Between you and Karl, you made a great replacement door.
Hey Jordan, great job on the door refurb! More of Bennet's Magic!!!
Really nice job on the door! You and Karl tag teamed that one! Looking forward to watching the new roadster! Take care!
