Being flaky is one of the "side effects" I can't stand as an extrovert. I went to the store once with bad bloating and a woman told her son, "she's pregnant" and it made me feel so bad. :(

The fatigue is killing me! I struggle to do my job lately hell I struggle to even wake up. I can sleep for a week and still wake up feeling like I've been hit by a train. Please be careful guys, most of us with Crohns have low vitamin D (causing that fatigue ) which means we have a very high chance of death if we get coronavirus. Google low vitamin D coronavirus

@@sshepard5222 thanks for that post. I have been on 6 weekly infusions of infliximab and it has changed my life. Almost immediately after starting over a year ago. My crohns was awful. I lost over 4 stone in weight, but I have put it all back on again. I try to eat a well balanced dietof lots of fruit every day. Protien to help build muscle etc and vitamins. Not a lot of meat. And I eat cakes to keep my calories up incase I become unwell again. I'll have some weight to fall back on. It truly is a vile disease, and much misunderstood. It can cause bad skin brittle hair, dry eyes as well as all the typical symptoms.
I wish you all the very best

@@sshepard5222 Me having partial seizures, crohn's, and high blood pressure is even more difficult to be useful in this society. Yes I have everything you mentioned. I do try to take vitamin D daily as being a ginger I don't like extensive sunlight that much as I live in CA which is sunny 300 days a year. In a few days will have a colonoscopy and endoscopy as it's been 4 years since my last one. I used to be on Humira until I stopped injecting regularly due to fear of running out of Humira back in 2020 when supplies were unpredictable. My antibodies started working against the medication and Humira was useless. For over a year the Doc wanted me to take Remicade but I have venephobia and can't stand intervenous insertion. So I have not taken any meds in over a year and hopefully the colonoscopy won't be that awful as 4 years ago the results were great. If the results after this colonoscopy is not good I'll have to decide which meds to take even Remicade. I just try to keep a diet. I do drink Kefir and eat fruits. I do crave pistachios.

Hey there! I'm 21 from Italy.
I have crohn since i was 10 and a week ago I did a left hemicolectomy. I had to do it open, not in laparoscopy because (for my clinical situation) it was too risky.
I'm always looking for an italian ambassador here in yt that can aknowledge people about crohn and help others who have crohn like us, but there's no one here so I found you.
It was love at first sight lol
I really like your sense of humour and when you talk I always see myself in you. This makes me think that i'm not alone.

Spot on about the worry when being asked out even now I have those anxieties. Don't really feel my friends understand how it makes you feel they think you just go to the toilet a lot. Glad you can laugh at it a good attitude to have. Love to all Crohnzies!

Do anyone still doubt natural herbs? I've seen the great importance of natural herbs and the wonderful work they have done in people's lives. I wonder why people still spend their money on surgery, injections and drugs each time they are sick. Natural herbs can cure all kinds of illness including herpes, diabetics, asthma, Cancer, hepatitis, etc. I've seen it with my own eyes. I was cured of ulcerative colitis and my Sister and her Husband were cured of herpes by dr Osemuahu who uses natural herbs to cure different kind of illness. Even Dr. Osemuahu proved to the whole world that natural herbs can cure all diseases and he cured countless of people using natural herbs. I know is hard to believe but am a living testimony. Latterly I can’t even tell my doctor what I feel about my stomach sometimes I feel pain and then it’s gone when I meet with the doctor. I got Crohn’s disease since high school until now I tried my best to be positive. A lot of medication I’m talking for this disease hopefully I feel better by the day.

I'm not yet diagnosed with anything other than gastritis(inflammation of the stomach) and chronic abdominal pain, but I totally understand what you're saying. I have a wheat allergy as well, possibly celiac disease because I have genes for that. So I can't eat anything with wheat, rye, barley, or any of their derivatives. I can't eat anything that has touched those things, either. People just don't understand. I have a coworker who sometimes tells me about her acquaintances with celiac disease, and then she tells me I can't possibly have it because I don't have exactly the same symptoms as them. I do though. I just don't drag her to the bathroom with me every time I've gotta go. And the bloating.......I have definitely looked pregnant before, too. Thankfully nobody said anything, but one time I asked for prayer at communion. The lady next to me put her hand on my stomach, but unbeknownst to her I had been trying to hold it in. So I just let it all out, and she quickly removed her hand. Also, my doctor doesn't believe me because I don't look malnourished, but all the other symptoms I've told her about(dizziness, chest pain, hair loss or just not growing back, etc.) can be signs of malnutrition. You don't have to be skin and bones to have a vitamin deficiency. She also keeps putting me on the same drug even though I've told her I still get diarrhea on that drug.

please take time to read this, it might help you my husband suffered from crohn's disease almost all his life and i can tell you that its really terrible, watching him get lean and pale worried me the more, he lost appetite, he was always and was unable to go to work again,he kept having sores in his mouth and the constant pain was making the situation worse. we kept going from one gastroenterologist to another, they were not helping the situation, they kept giving us different drugs and it was making it worse, they kept increasing the dosage, in 2016 when i went to cvs pharmacy to go and get another drugs for him, that was were i heard about dr folonsho a herbal doctor, who specialises in using natural roots and herbs to treat diseases and chronic pain. at first i was in doubt, because we have tried many options that were not helping and all the doctors we came across told us that there was no cure, and i believed, so i contacted this herbal doctor and he said he could help my husband, after i told him my problem, he said he has a herbal remedy that can heal my husband and reverse this illness completely and he will be back to his normal state of health, not having many alternatives anymore i requested for the herbal remedy, because the situation was getting worse, after using the medicine for about 3 weeks there was great improvement, and my husband was getting back to his normal self, its been 4 years now and my husband is still strong as ever, all thanks to dr folonsho, and may GOD continue to bless you, so if you are still sufferring from this disease kindly contact dr folonsho today either through email drfolonsho@gmail.com or via whats app +2348073410606 or you can check out his website drfolonshoherbalhome.simdif. com/ and you will be glad you did, i wouldn't want someone to experience what my husband did

Easy bruising indicates iron deficiency which is very common with Crohn's as there is poor nutrient absorption due from inflammation causing scarring that also results as blood loss AKA iron...ever thought of getting your iron level checked? I bruise easily too, it's quite annoying.

Oh I bet everybody has some panic stories about needing a bathroom in the next 30 seconds , my funnest moment which wasn't funny at the time was when I needed one NOW and ran into a place which was a mental institution , embarrassing at the time of course . Take care everybody !

It is possible to overcome Crohn’s Disease. If you are sick of living this way, buy a book called Restoring Your Digestive Health, and try the guts and glory program. I was diagnosed at 12. I am now 36 and this book is changing my life.

this is spot on. I feel like this everyday although the last testing my doctors want to do is to check for an IBD. the only way i’m able to eat is using canabis and it can be frustrating at times. do you think this could possibly be IBD?

Wanted to check up and see how you were doing?
Btw if you do have IBD although quite difficult to diagnose cannabis could be harmful and even make it worse for some.

Now I've updated to cumin and ajwain( not sure what it is in English. Probably carom seeds). I call it the drain cleaner😂. It soothes the stomach and is just overall a good thing to put in your body. I've also started working out since July and that has been a life changer.
