They're nice and I dread the day I have to make one for my boy Bo.. Hope y'all have a Merry Christmas

I dread the day as well. The worst thing about pets is they have short lives. We have to love them as much as we can while we have them 💕 hope you have a Merry Christmas as well and a happy new year

I was wondering if you just lost a pet hence why you made this.

I haven’t recently. My girl is still with me. But...I do like to keep her old collars and toys in keepsake boxes when we replace them. I’m obsessed with her, so I like to keep all her things...sentimental I guess.

Really good looking Urn,goes to show you dont need a workshop filled with tens of thousands of pounds worth of tools to create great projects that look fantastic, Have a great xmas stay safe and looking forward to more content in 2021

Thanks so much! You are exactly right! Having a huge shop of fancy tools is nice, but you can create so many things with just a few basics. You have a Merry Christmas, too and happy new year!

Thank you Shara. I just lost my dog Caesar last night and I plan to make a small walnut urn for him. I recently discovered your channel after hearing your interview with Steve Ramsey. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next projects in your brand new shop. Alain.

Great idea i used pine for one that I made then burnt and stained it. It's a honor to make one for a pet as well as a loved one. Keep up the great videos

I agree. Handmade is a little more personal and makes it a little more special. 💕 I bet burnt pine finish turned out nice!

Really beautiful work, Shara! Really sweet little boxes! 😊
I just lost my 16 years friend a couple of months ago... But... She was already old and sick... Cats tend to have kidney problems when they get older, you know?
So... She rested, I guess. But I really miss her. 😔
Anyway... Happy holidays! And stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

I’m so sorry to hear that!! We have cats and a dog and I love them all like family. It’s always so hard to say goodbye. 💕

Very clear tutorial. You make it look easy even though it’s not.
    Thank you for sharing.
When routing the bottom groove for the bottom panel would it be ok if I route the board as 1 piece before I cut it into 4 pieces with the 45 degree cuts?

This is really nice, I have 4 poms and 2 are on the older side of life, please pardon my ignorance, can the top be made in a way that it opens to put my dog cremation?
    Thank you.

Thank you. The bottom of these are removeable to allow you to place ashes inside. Once they’re in, you secure the bottom like shown in the video to seal them inside.
