    I purchased one last night after watching this video, I added a 4 year warranty the total came to $799.48 with tax.. I hope it arrives by the expected delivery date🤞🏾

    It could be that you have to adjust the fuel / air ratio, so it's running smooth, it was a little rough near the idle but it maybe has to do with breaking in. Nice video btw

      And I'm glad that you didn't tilt the engine fully down, that increases fuel consumption and lower the speed a bit

      Yea I was thinking that maybe about 50 hours it'll be running alot smother then when I first started it. My Chinese Enduro really smoothed out at about 500 miles I tried a few different tilts its really easy to change it on the water with out light the engine is.

      @@SM-Tackle Yes, cold weather isn't my coup of tea, here in Sweden is about 7-°C. And I really look forward to the summer 😀

      Hows the motor running? I got the 4stroke 6hp hangkai and took it out today after breaking in and it just has no power it seems. I have it on a 13' Ascend 133x kayak. I think I'm going to return and get the 2stroke

    This checks out , mine does 14mph on a 10ft fiberglass dingy with a cathedral hull , probably around 400kg fully loaded up

      @@SM-Tackle ive actually had mine around 4 years now (i have a video of it on my channel ) , been a really good little engine , still working , only problems ive had were the pin for the gear selector snapping & snapping the pullcord , the latter being my friend being heavy handed

      I have a blue sky 360. It's like a 13.5 foot catamaran. Only weight 170 pounds. What speed do you think I could get out of it?

      Yes I have a video of unboxing there is a break in period and you have to full up the lower unit with oil

      I'll keep a eye out for it man. I been so impressed with think little engine I have considered buying the 18 hp. Try and show the difference you notice because I was curious as why the 4 stroke was a couple hundred more

      @@SM-Tackle 4 strokes are generally much less noisy, get more bang and more quiet. You just gotta mind your fuel ratios like 2 stroke just for the 4. Im gonna try to address what seems to be gaining a lotta questions like this, im a regular working guy, how can a poor man still be fly on a jon Boat? When everything to even start seems so freaking overwhelming? Im gonna do like you man and a few others ive been watching, try to get a little youtube channel for showing off the best priced everything, how to install everything, wiring light's etc. I got my confirmation from ebay this mornin said it be here the 26th so man im ready to be breakin it in

    Alot of the vibration when I start to get on it in the bimini top. I'm gonna have to make some rubber spacers for it

      It looked not to bad, but 2 strokes vibrates quite a bit, so nothing to have panic about. But everything could be improved some how

    How heavy is that boat. I have 2 boats and Ive been looking into the same motor. I have a 1963 monarch that weighs about 80 pounds and My Sundolphin American 12 jon boat which weighs about 120. It should be going 15 on that monarch

      This boat is pretty heavy has about a couple hundred lbs in the build of the decking and electrical stuff plus fishing gear 2 deep cycle battery's. I'd say all together without the hangkai about 600 lbs or something.

    Have you tried raising the motor? My twin 1.75 gamefishers do about that on a 10 footer.

      This was during the break in period and the boat is pretty heavy 14ft with 2 full size 12v battery's

      It's pretty light I can carry it one hand so I'd so less then 50 lbs

      I have been running the hell out this little engine every chance I can I hit the water. I'd recommend it ,but for my boat I have been consider the hangkai 18hp

      Hi Guy's, we have the 6hp 2 stroke hangkia's as well, I think they weigh 42lbs. We run on them a 10ft red and a 10.8ft white/grey inflatable dinghy. With one person we can reach 13mph.
      @Shevy love the content it's nice seeing more people doing video's of the hangkia's. How many hour's have you put on your 6hp so far?

    I was looking into that too. But bought a mercury instead bc mercury is cheaper considering the medical bills for hearing damage and probably mental issues🤣🤣🤣

    Hey shevy. I bought the same motor. What fuel line connector did you use for an external tank? I've tried so many and can't find one that fits properly. I appreciate it if you can give me a part number or anything

      I'm pretty sure it's mercury fitting. I had a few around without box so I'm not 100 percent but I know it's not evinride because I have to change the fitting to switch motors

      I had it aboutb2 years on the 2nd seasong I had let a friend try it on his john boat and he didn't fasten it down good and it came on after hitting a stump and he didn't have a safety chain on it. It was a great little motor they are a little under powered compared to good name brands the 6 is more like a 4 or 5 hp but ran great and always started easy. Would definitely buy another in a pinch. Would always see what you find find localy name brand first tho.

Still may try one later. What I really want is a 9.9 of some kind. I have a 3.9 mercury now but it's an older motor and has been randomly dying on me it has been starting right back up but am afraid to go very far in it but I appreciate your info

      It does pushes my decked 14 vhull with 2 adults and gear about 7 mph. You won't win any races but it will get you there.

    Just received mine. The instruction says to break in for 8 hours. Did you already do it then do the test run in this video? I just want to take my boat to the lake right now. LOL

      Yes I did run it for several hours in a brute trash can. Then trolled abunch with it before giving it much throttle.

      I'm not sure on the brand its a pre 1970's 14 ft v hull 48 wide with a pretty flat bottom. I stripped it down to nothing this winter and built it how it is.

      I have heard they don't do well but if you use it daily id say you'd get you money out of it before it rusted

      I have heard they don't last long with salt water. I would defiantly clean it out after each use

      No I'm not still using.A friend tried it on his boat and lost it in the river after hitting a stump. I did have it for 2 years and it was a great motor I think it's optimal for boats a little lighter then mine it would do great on a bare aluminum 12 ot 14ft boat

      It was a pretty good motor honestly for the price of half of the major brands and when I purchased you couldn't even get mercury they where sold out fast for a 15 hp or less. Unfortunately I let my friend barrow the motor and he hit a stump and lost it. He liked it so much he is gonna pay me for it and buy another one
