My late husband and I saw these guys so many times that it makes me miss him even while listening. Life could not have delivered me a better friend or husband. CS&N bring it all back and I am grateful.
Renee, we are blessed beyond imagination to have this trio writing and performing their songs many of which portray life in its many situations and circumstances. Thanks for your post about your late husband.
Renee, touching comment. I too went with my wife, my best friend & his wife to 7 or 8 CS&N concerts from around the early 70's till one of their last Detroit concerts here at Pine Knob. My best friend passed away last summer and everyone is still going through tough times over the loss.... God Bless you Renee & your Husband too & thanks for sharing your comment with everyone.....
These three guys were the main music in my life as a teenager! This music was being played by most radio stations as a standard kind of rock! They were number one!!! The best songs!!!
They are so great! 69...94...2001....what a gift to us all...I still have tears well up in my eyes listening at times. Stephen Stills is amazing and under rated as far as I am concerned.
Their music is soothing and calming we need so much more of that in this fast paced cruel world that we live in today. We should all step back in time. And smile again
Could I possibly have one of those times, SG ? Just the one. Saw The Kinks, The Who and Bob Dylan several times... ... but these three... sadly... never made it to my eyes. so - if you don't mind... could I just have one of those times from you ? Just the one. Please ?
I could watch this over and over. But, but, but, it reminds me of the passing of time and the fragility of existence. I read that life is like a toilet roll - bear with me here - because the nearer you get to the end, the faster it goes. How very true. Weeks go by like days used to. The finish is rushing towards me and I’m more determined to both make the most of every day but also make sure that I make the best lives that I can for my loved ones - including pets.
Time sped up starting at age 50 for me, now I am whizzing towards 73 in May. Many of my dearest friends were older than me and they are no longer physically here. After two near death experiences, the last one 25 years ago, I believe I'll see friends and pets on the other side. 💙
I was there for this weekend!! I was high as a kite the entire weekend but I remember it all like it was yesterday! Paid my $136 ticket and have all my memorabilia. One hell of a weekend
Very proud to say my first song on guitar was Wooden Ships. All the rest followed 52 yours ago. A giant loss losing David. I feel like my family member passed. So 😭
Such great vocals and harmonies! Stephen great guitar just a super guitar player just as in his Buffalo Springfield days! David still has that great balanced driving voice just as the days of the Byrds! Graham still has the Hollies tone! Together a super group was formed!
Say whatever you want, but I know what I’ve seen and heard and in my opinion Stephen Stills is, was, and will always be the greatest singer, song writer, guitar player ever.
Much better sounding show than the original concert that went on despite a rainy weekend in a New York cow pasture. People trying to get warm and dry off and along comes another thunderstorm! Even if you only listen to the Woodstock record or hear bits and pieces. The sound system and this great backup band that is more than anyone could ask for! Great SHOW!
My favorite group ever! They always cheer me up when I hear their music! My husband always got tickets to see them when they were here! He wouldn't hear the end of it if he didn't. What a great thing he did for me!
Saw them at the old red barn in Chicago. Now for all you boys and girls who are old enough to remember what the old red barn is or was it now goes by a different name the United Center. The old barn stood right next to where the united center is today in fact, you park on the ground with truly great rock stars country stars, superstars performed, the music and the memories will never be forgotten.

They are the best group that I have ever heard, (since I was 6 or 7 yrs of age), even still today, to brimg out the best voices of harmony. Like a National Monument live on stage and Made in America! ~ Hey, that's my friend Jody "The KIller" Cortez on drums. It's his 55nd birthday today! An absolute monster on the drum kit! He played on the first Cinderella Record and was responsible for creating all those rock anthems like Night Songs and Nobody's Fool, Jody's played with Billy Idol, Sam Kinison, Phil Collins and Christopher Cross. His brother Dean Cortez is the bass player in the Jazz band Hiroshima. I remember watching this on TV in L.A in 94! Kings X was also a great stand out at Woodstock 2. ~
People forget how great John Sebastian and the Lovin'Spoonful were a great group as well. He guested with the Doors before on top of all that...brilliant
That weekend I was playing bass for some guy named Donnie Sawyer, opening for Tracy Byrd, not 20 miles away from where Woodstock II was going on, dammit. We had driven up from Nashville, met up with the other guys, and were driving to the gig in a motor home, when we hit the traffic jam it was causing. Would have loved to have been there, but had bills to pay!!
Stephen Stills has probably one of the top 20 voices ever and the history of music, couple of his solo albums are absolutely amazing but rumor has it he pissed somebody off and the end of story and they didn't get near the airplay they should have but the songs are amazing.
Victor Cianflone Yeah, they probably pissed off the cabal mafia satanists who have infiltrated all our so called good organizations during the last 70 years.

I love these men, they sing nice and play great too. Good music plays on threw our youth, it will not die our younger generations will long hear the great sounds of yesterday. Good music plays on.
This is awesome music which should live on and be played for the millennials who don’t know what is truly talented music. I absolutely love them and just look at how many others do too. Give them the credit due for continuing to play and entertain us 50 yrs later. Yes, the backup group should have credit too. For those of you too young to understand, you try to keep your talents alive and well as you age...thank you CSN for sharing your lives all throughout time to passing ❤️
Nine Inch Nails came on right after them. Seeing this band and NIN was a reward. The North Stage on Saturday was magical. Whoever came on was beyond good
That show was amazing and so incredibly special. Their muscianship was stellar as always, and you can't beat those beautiful harmonies. For me, the real standout was Crosby (RIP 😥❤) ~ he never faltered! Not using IEMs and relying on blowback moniters is a feat in and of itself, especially in an outdoor venue of that size. That is unbelievably difficult! I lived so close, I loved going to shows, and there were so many great acts that were bucket list types, I kind of regretted not going. Given what the conditions ended up being and what it sadly devolved into, I was glad I didn't. A lot of once in a lifetime, truly memorable performances nonetheless.
CSN has one of the greatest back-up bands of all time...but they were never given the credit that they deserve...that is inevitable when you have names like Crosby Stills and Nash...

@@lucasoheyze4597 That's rich, coming from a complete hack of a musician yourself.. if those guys are regulars then you're surely sub- human
@@lucasoheyze4597 None of them were "just regulars". How insulting
@@flick400 lol. Crosby and Nash would have opened for Brewer and Shipley without Stills.
What they were to me is unfathomable!
I don’t care how much of a grudge fan you are you can’t say these guys didn’t rock especially at their age
Tuning in? Tuning out? Turningg ONN! ;- D Just - crank -it UP. I am ... Peace!
Yes, I am 💯 pct. It's late in NY, NYC... So my headphones ON... ☮️☮️🍕🍕🇺🇸🇺🇸🎶🎶👻👻👻
I dont know how it is possible to find 162 not happy about this video. The World is very strange.
Nine Inch Nails came on right after them. Seeing this band and NIN was a reward. The North Stage on Saturday was magical. Whoever came on was beyond good
I was at that show!!!
James Lomasney Lucky sod !
Nash, Alone has a great pop/rock voice.. I never heard before
Saw Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young with Taylor and Reeves. Close my eyes, don't want to see anymore.
My Favorites!!🎉😊
WONDERFUL MUSIC...
CSN has one of the greatest back-up bands of all time...but they were never given the credit that they deserve...that is inevitable when you have names like Crosby Stills and Nash...
What do you mean by backup band!?
@@lorellesouthern3527 .....he means the musicians that are backing them up.
YOUR SONGS ARE LEGENDARY AND YOU ARE THE LEGENDS TOO LISTENING YOU COMFORTS ME BECAUSE I AM ILL AND ALL ALONEBYMYSELF BUT I WILL BE OK JUST LET IT BE
