  • Simple Character Walk Cycle - After Effects Tutorial
Hey everyone! A while back I uploaded a video where I showed a cool trick on how to create an easy 3D Parallax rig in After Effects. I asked you if you would like to see how I animated the character walking through the snow and a lot of people wanted to see it, which was great to hear :) So in this video I'll show you how to animate the sled, the character walking through the snow and how to tie it all together and make the whole scene complete.

The best video iv'e seen yet. Question: What computer do you use? I have a mac and the preview speed it awful and no where near fluid or smooth as yours. How could I fix this?

Thanks for the compliment :) I use an 2019 iMac 5K, here are the specs:
      Processor: 3,6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
      Memory: 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
Graphics: Radeon Pro Vega 48 8 GB
I think the Memory (RAM) is the most important for preview speed.
      Cheers!

@@CampKeyframetutorials Thank you! I have 2015 model. Where does my RAM have to be for better preview speed? I have 39 GB left of 251 GB.
