Good luck trying to find a repair shop if you ever need service on this machine. So if anyone makes the purchase you better be mechanically inclined to do your own service.
I’m thinking about buying one of these 1122TST units but I’m confused a bit by the mixed messaging that is out there around 15 vs 20 amp circuit requirements. The specs list 15 amp as the requirement, and I found a video from Kranzle USA saying that so long as you have a dedicated 15 amp circuit that is powering literally nothing else but the pressure washer that there should be no issues…Yet I see some info out there saying 20 amp should be used. Are you running on a 15 amp? I have a dedicated 15 amp circuit and was thinking about buying this pressure washer so long as there wouldn’t be issues.
I just purchased the K1622TS (preferred 1322ts): 2 reasons: 1. Only have a 15amp circuit, don't want to blow it with the 1322ts. 2. don't want to wait around too long for the 1322ts, who knows when it will be available. Thanks for the informative video Matt & the team.
I have 1152 TST(1122) here in Finland. Mine gets 140 bar with 040 nozzle and 120 bar with 045 nozzle. I have to say that mosmatic gun+wand system is an amazing setup and thanks to Matt Moreman for that! :)
excellent video as always - btw 21:04 the pressure wont drop by changing the fan spray angle - the physics behind that is as the orifice is behind the vane plates, and its the vane plates which create the angle in the fan attachment.... Same is true for nozzle tips. the orifice is before the wedge angle of the nozzle (0,15,25,40) so since orifice is behind the wedge angle of the nozzle there wont be any change is pressure.... however if you put a different fan or a different nozzle tip with different orifice size that will change the pressure
We should get together and build a mobile unit, just to show everyone the proper way to put together a mobile detailing business, I've been mobile since 92, might be a fun new series.
another reason it will cycle off and on is an underpowered 15 amp outlet (too many connections on the circuit). I plugged my 1322 into a dedicated 15 amp and it ran fine. i will be installing a dedicated 20 amp for carefree use.
Hi Matt, love your work and am grateful you’re putting in all this time to ultimately provide us with the best possible content and products. I have a question I hope you or your team can answer (I am already your customer). Here in NZ, we have the Kranzle 10amp 1152 tst washer. It actually is listed at a psi output of approximately(from memory) 1670psi. I have your full ultimate portable accessory bundle that just arrived recently, and without a gauge at the end of my hose, I am unsure about what true psi output I’m getting from my setup. I’m currently unloading the pressure down to 1400psi at the gauge on the machine, in hopes that with the OG wand and mosmatic fittings I’ll get roughly 1000 psi. Would love some advice on this as I would hate to either damage my coating, PPF or worse, my paint. Asking in a public forum so hopefully the info will help other people who are in a similar position to me. Cheers!
Hmm... I'm not sure on the 1152. I haven't tested one on my own yet. I'm coming to Australia next year, so I will be doing some testing on the pressure washer to make sure we offer the proper orifice sizes in our packages.
@@ObsessedGarage epic, thanks Matt. I’ve ordered an in line gauge so I’ll send you some numbers once I test the current setup. Maybe that will give you some ideas of what to bring with you when you come to test it in Aus. Not happy with Matt’s logistics manager Aaron. I purchased a K1622TS and several accessories. One of the accessories was the PF22.2 foam cannon. This foam cannon comes as a kit from MTM. The kit comes with Body, Suction tube, Bottle, M22 fitting, 1/4” plug, 1.1mm and 1.25mm orifice. When I received my order I noticed the kit had been opened. I took an inventory and realized the M22 fitting was missing. I contacted Obsessed Garage and let them know that the kit had been opened and was missing a part. Aaron responds and says that they open every kit and remove “The crappy steel plug” and replace with stainless steel plug. I explained that it was nice to give us the stainless steel plug but that I also wanted the Brass M22 fitting that was part of the kit. His response was that if I wanted to pay for shipping he would send it to me. What kind of a scam is this? Is he paying for the stainless steel plug by selling the M22 fitting? Why not just throw the stainless steel plug in the box with all other items and leave kit sealed? Seems a little shady!
When are you going to sell the Kranzle K2020T (20 amp) / K2017T (15 amp)? Would love to see what kinda GPM you could get out of that around 1000 PSI.. !
Right now I have the Sun Joe 3000 and it’s ok but cheap and I bought the mosmatic gun/wand with the kobrajet from OG that took that SJ to a whole different level. After learning all about the Kranzle, Matt has clearly convinced me to take the plunge and invest in one. Now I don’t know which one to pick between the K1122TST or the k1322TS. I know they’re the pretty much the same I’m just torn between the two. The 1122 is so solid looking and the 1322 seems more portable and easier to store away, plus since I already have the mosmatic gun/wand and kobrajet all I would need is the MTM foam cannon and 4.0 orifice to go with the 1322TS. Oh well on with the sleepless nights.
Dumb question maybe. Are there any nuances to having a pressure washer for driveway cleaning and car cleaning? I see you use a short gun which wouldn’t work too well for driveway. Would just the accessories need to be swapped? Or is there an entirely different pressure washer you’d want
Using baby electric pressure washers like these is not what I'd use to clean a driveway. You can do it, but it's brutal and not very effective. I think you want a higher output gas for the home tasks.
Can you temporarily turn it down at the pump on the K1322TS to lower draw if you ever find yourself in a remote situation where you don't have a 20amp outlet? Perhaps with a smaller orifice? Or will adjusting there not affect current draw? If so, perhaps, you could still end up with a 1000psi setup with a smaller orifice while just getting a little less flow than optimally with a K1322TS--perhaps even similar to the 1622TS.

Hi Matt is there any reason why you don't feature the Kranzle K 1050 p? Such a great little machine the perfect soloution for enthusiasts that want a quality machine but don't necessarily have the budget/space for the larger machines that you stock?

Hi - in the uk I was only able to get Kranzle 1152 tst - with mosmatic wand with quick connects- I reduced the psi to 1500 on the machine as I didn’t want to it be too hard for the car- after watching your video I realise I should keep the psi at max using the unloader - is that correct? Also I have ordered the mosmatic.co.uk/quick-connect-nozzles/34589-quick-connect-nozzle-04-85226040.html (40) - is that the correct size fir the 25degree nozzle? Just worried about final psi to the car
no. you need to open the unloader all the way so that you get max liters per minute and low pressure (around 1000psi). control the pressure by choosing appropriate orifice size nozzle. use 4.5 orifice nozzle for your 1152.
@@lordjaashin Thanks! I added a psi gauge to the wand and worked out I needed 5.0 to get 1000psi - thanks for your help! 4.5 gave me 1400, 4.0 gave me 1800psi

Matt or anyone that can answer. What are your thoughts on the Turbo nozzles. Even on a crap HF pw the stream stings your hand at 6-7” away? I know 1000-1100 is optimal but will more risk damaging anything ?
I purchased a 1322ts model and have yet to run into any issues running it on a 15A circuit. I assume I’m not harming anything with the pump as it has yet to kick the breaker even when I’m using a foam cannon. Is there any danger of harming the pump on a 15A circuit?
I know your always on the lookout for good fittings (QD's, etc.). Have you ever looked at Eaton Aerospace products, specifically their Fluid Transfer and Hydraulic fittings. Might be worth looking into since they're used in aviation, high quality mil spec and probably readily available.
For washing cars you would want to get the best of the best which are these Kranzle beasts. Avoid using gas pressure washers to wash a car, over 1,000 psi is unnecessary for washing cars.
@@JordanandNike123 You can change the nozzle on a gas pressure washer the same way. I'm running 1000psi on my gas pressure washer. The engine has very little load, too. It sounds so much happier. Not to mention, I have way more flow than one of these, which is what you want for car washing.
Hello Matt I want 220volt kranzle do you have that kranzle ,I’m gonna ship it to manila phillippines trying to put up car wash business ,,please let me know,,thanks

Consider yourself lucky if you live in Europe and have 230V. HD 7/122 and HD 10/122 are the equivalent shelf mount models. Looks identical. K1152/K2160 are the standing versions with wheels. I have the 10/122 and have measured it to 2.6 gpm with a 5.0 orifice. I don't know the pressure, but probably around 1000 psi. And it's rated at 11A. They come with or without total stop.
@@suprdrift the 10/122 is a 10 lpm machine and if your in the UK not sure how u got 2.6gpm regardless of orifice as 2.6gpm is almost 12 lpm, 2 litres higher than the machine is even capable of
@@dereklee8080 I measured 9.9 l/min, so roughly 2.6 US gpm, not UK gpm. I'm from Norway, so didn't think of that difference. I just checked, and the pressure gauge at the machine is showing 1450 psi. It's not the same as at the gun, but you could probably use a 5.5 or 6.0 and get above 10 l/min. But I don't have those nozzles. I just purchased my 1622TS setup from OG last week and installed this weekend. I have a chemical guys Torq 8 foam cannon which has a 1.25mm orifice. Matt says not to use anything below a 2mm, but the largest OG sells for the MTM Cannon is 1.5mm. Is there a difference between gun orifice and Cannon orifice allowable sizes?
@@ObsessedGarage Not sure I understand. We are talking about orifice size on, say the mosmatic gun being 2.8 or above for best results and amp draw. The cannons have orifices as well, do they operate differently? I know Matt says foam cannons dram more amps, likely due to their smaller orifice. I just want to make sure I don't kill my expensive new Kranzle with a foam cannon with too small of an orifice.
@@XRunner9 matt is saying that 3.5 size orifice (1.22 mm) is perfect on 1622 for washing cars. the chemical guys foam cannon has 1.25mm orifice. so thats bigger than 3.5 size (1.2mm) orifice and it is actually better for the motor because it places less strain on it.

I like the set up on the wall bro. How much that cost with the filter?
3,324, he sells it as a full package with everything including pipes, valves, hoses, wand, foam cannon, ect on his site.
He does say you might want to hire a plumber but everything needed to build the exact set up you see there is included I believe.
@@jefffraser4345 thanks for your reply
Matt or anyone that can answer. What are your thoughts on the Turbo nozzles. Even on a crap HF pw the stream stings your hand at 6-7” away? I know 1000-1100 is optimal but will more risk damaging anything ?
Ken-Jeeper It’s intended for hard surfaces only. Keep it away from the car.
Matt my Garage has 15AMP outlet. My house is only 5 years old. I should not have any issues?
You will with a 1322TS. If the circuit has nothing else on it, the 1622TS should work.
I purchased a 1322ts model and have yet to run into any issues running it on a 15A circuit. I assume I’m not harming anything with the pump as it has yet to kick the breaker even when I’m using a foam cannon. Is there any danger of harming the pump on a 15A circuit?
No danger. If yours is working, you probably just have breakers with a bit more head room or possibly a short run.
Which is more recommended for a mobile detailing the 1622 or 1122 ?
You only buy a K1622 if you absolutely must. 1122 is far superior for washing cars. K1322TS is the best choice overall.
@@ObsessedGarage
Is that something y’all have i stock for the K1322TS ?
I know your always on the lookout for good fittings (QD's, etc.). Have you ever looked at Eaton Aerospace products, specifically their Fluid Transfer and Hydraulic fittings. Might be worth looking into since they're used in aviation, high quality mil spec and probably readily available.
So craftsman pressure washer, good or better than or optimal to this one? Gas one?
For washing cars you would want to get the best of the best which are these Kranzle beasts. Avoid using gas pressure washers to wash a car, over 1,000 psi is unnecessary for washing cars.
@@JordanandNike123 You can change the nozzle on a gas pressure washer the same way. I'm running 1000psi on my gas pressure washer. The engine has very little load, too. It sounds so much happier. Not to mention, I have way more flow than one of these, which is what you want for car washing.
Great video as always! Which nozzle do you recommend for the K2160 model? Thanks!
That likely needs a 4.5 nozzle.
Hello Matt I want 220volt kranzle do you have that kranzle ,I’m gonna ship it to manila phillippines trying to put up car wash business ,,please let me know,,thanks
K1622tst has different pump (like the K1322TS) to add the total stop.
No, it's the same pump.
any chance you (or someone) could run these tests with a common GAS pressure washer (say a ryobi). I'd love to see how true their numbers are to spec....and compare what i'd actually be giving up by switching (for other tasks)
Please get these APPROVED for use in CANADA... ULc not UL... please help us Canadians
Does anyone know if he does coupon codes?? Haha, i love the videos man! Makes me wanna clean my car & be detailed

What pressure gauge are you using? What brand, and the blue hose ?
mtm pressure gauge i believe and kobrajet hose
On the reel it’s a KobraJet hose. On the inlet, it’s a heavy duty Continental Hose. Matt sells both on OG website.
Got the 1622ts, 3.5 upgraded mosmatic nozzle/gun combo w/ upgraded hose and I’m getting 850psi 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
You bought the wrong pressure washer.
How’s that even possible as I have everything used in this video other than the upgraded kobra jet hose that wasn’t used for this demonstration?
That is for america market any idea what model for europe ? Is it the same model ?
I just used the hand-in-front-at-a-point-where-it-almost-hurts method :p I think Matt checked both values one time in the video, but I could find it.
Here is a post I made in the facebook group about those findings: facebook.com/groups/obsessedgarage/?post_id=2362529260662463
Thank you so much for the reply , i have the k1152ts in my house but i want the light one, so maybe what do you guys prefer ?
@@ahmadjahidi412 The HD 10/122 TS has almost identical specs to your K1152TS. I'm very happy with mine (with OG gun and hose). It's not as heavy as the 1152, but it's not light though at 23 kg. But I do carry mine up from the basement each time I use it.
Is this the same as a K10 in the UK?
Similar to HD7
Hi OG’s!
If I want to achieve a minimum 2.0 gpm with this pressure washer, what nozzle size I need and what will the pressure be?
I can't decide between this one or the K1322TS.
To get 2 GPM, you need to go up to a 5.0 nozzle. That would drop the pressure at bit too much, down to about 600PSI.
@@ObsessedGarage Would the K1322TS have a higher PSI?
Do you have a link to the pressure gauge you use in the video? Could not find it in the store somehow.
like always great video.
A 3.5 sized nozzle is not a 3 mm opening, it is 1.22 mm. The foam cannon needs the 1.25mm orifice nozzle installed.
@@lordjaashin Yep, I got all sorted out after that comment. Ended up buying the OG foam cannon a few weeks ago and it's loads better than the Chemical Guys one I was using prior as well. Highly recommend it.
I have a k1622 i got from you guys, could i buy a pressure switch and just put it on so i would have total stop?
No, it's unfortunately much more complicated than that.
Obsessed Garage I figured but worth a shot thanks!
Will this one foam up good at the 1.6 compared to the 1.9 gpm?
Both will foam fine.
Is there a 240v version of this?
HD7
So what size orifice should my foam gun have in it? 1.25 ok?
Yes the 1.25 orifice.
@@ObsessedGarage thank you 🙏🏻
what generator should I use to run the k1622ts ? I want A quiet one like the honda eu2200 but im not sure if that works... thank you !
Great video. May I ask how many amps it draws on a foam cannon with a 1.1 orifice? Thanks.
It's not so much about the amps, but longevity of the motor at that orifice. It'll overwork it.
I get the quality aspect of the krenzle machine but the flow and pressure doesn’t seem that impressive…. I was looking at an all metal fully serviceable product here in the uk that flows around 2.6 gallons a minute at 1800 psi on standard UK electrics for around 1/3 the price of one of these….
You have to remember you have more power than we do in the US with 110V.
@@ObsessedGarage I hear you on that for sure, I’m just looking at the krenzle offering with my power availability and wondering if I’m missing anything about the performance of the product that makes it more compelling than I can see
That's legit....
You should try scripting a video. Your stream-of-consciousness style is packed with info but, with no structure, none of it makes sense to a layman like me and you repeat yourself a lot. I think you could make more informative videos that are shorter, get more views, and sell your products and company better if you planned out what you want to say and tried to structure it in a logical progression.
How get 1.61 gpm weight measure 15.12 pounds

If I have cheap pressure washer tips from greenworks should I throw them out and buy your new ones ? Not sure which size tip Orifice is right should I try the 3.5 I’m looking to buy a 1622
Do not use those on a Kranzle. They are too small. 3.5 is what you need.
