    I own both the AR and Kranzle and I prefer the AR. I have been using the AR for the last 3 years and it hasn't skipped a beat. I have probably only used my Kranzle a few times lol.. I plan on keeping the Kranzle as a backup but the AR is superior when it comes to specs.

    • @NewShockerGuy
      @NewShockerGuy 2 года назад +1

      Very interesting! Thank you for this. Why do you think this if you don't mind me asking. I've been looking at the AR and the Kranzle. But spending $1500+ for the Kranzle seems nuts to me just so I can wash my cars. I already have a gas pressure washer to wash my cars but it gets annoying to start it up and is noisy. But the AR is almost half the cost of the Kranzle...

    • @NewShockerGuy
      @NewShockerGuy 2 года назад +6

      I just picked up my AR630 TSS several days ago! I can't wait to use it this weekend! Honestly between the two I think the AR is better. The pump design alone is better than the wobble plate that Kranzle uses. Yes the Kranzle has a nice smaller profile and neat little handle (aesthetically, I think it does look better). But since it's going to be mounted on my shelf it doesn't matter. I wanted a better design and I feel the AR does this.

    Well it is more than just a couple of hundred dollars cheaper. The AR630-TSS-HOT runs $628 at one outlet compared to $1190 for the Kränzle 1122 TST. So about $562 cheaper which can buy a slew of accessories many times over. Plus it is a Commercial unit and parts from Annovi Reverberi parts are readily available. And just over $800 in my dollars makes a big difference. I like the Kränzle, but almost $1700 in my dollars is a bit crazy.

    Great review and demo of this pressure washer, Matt. I think I've re-watched this particular video at least a dozen times and it helped me make a decision. I've gone from waterless wash to ONR, to the Worx hydroshot and currently the Sun Joe "bucket joe". Now I'm currently putting together a cordless system involving the AR 630 TSS, a water tank, power inverter and a large battery. Sounds like so much work since the "bucket joe" does all that. But eventually I want to try going into mobile detailing more so.
    The Kranzle is too nice to abuse and the Comet's connections aren't very friendly for my needs. Definitely going the OG way with a new hose, 5.0 nozzles, QC fittings, MTM SGS28 and the PF 22.2. The above setup will be my workaround as an apartment dweller with water restrictions. They said we can't use a hose hooked up to the main water supply, not a tank =P.
    I live on the first floor and my stall is immediately in front of my door so it's not that bad. Thank you for providing all the important information and keep up the amazing work.

    Set the water heater at 140F then use a Cash Acme tank booster, basically premixing and set the hot out mix to 120F. The high at the water heater is recommended by American Society of Sanitary Engineering and also get a ultra low density water heater element if running on electric heat.
    I have a 40 Gal tank with the Cash Acme and ultra low density water heater elements and it does wonders for at least 2 people in the winter time even. The Cash Acme device extends the hot water use and the ultra low density element smoothens out the hot in the tank as you can sometimes feel waves of cold/hot during a shower sometimes without it. The ultra low density element is also way more efficient.
    If you plan on using a recirculation pump, next time I recommend insulating the hot and cold return line in the house during the construction phase. Not only that, but I recommend insulating all water lines with pipe wrap to prevent transfer of heat or condensation build up adjacent to the pipes.

    Great review. Can you post the AWG of the cord?? I would expect 12AWG but it doesn't look that heavy? Its really screwed up that these manufactures do this as the NEC states that a 20A breaker shouldn't exceed 80 percent of its rating which is 16A unless the breaker is labeled otherwise (AS you mentioned its a dedicated breaker but must be labeled for it.) Even on its own circuit, 19A is pushing it big time. Makes me wonder if this one or the Kranzle are UL listed. They really need a 30A breaker with 10AWG and on a L5-30R twist lock receptacle which then would require a GFCI breaker.

    • @Jaker788
      @Jaker788 3 года назад

      That 80% rating is for constant draw appliances. I'm assuming they don't fall under that category with an auto on/off feature. But also you'll find some space heaters will draw about 1800w, so that's very close to 15a, which is what most outlets are in homes. For example my convection space heater draws about 1800w

    For those watching this video long after the post date and into the future, you might be able to get away running this unit on a 15 amp circuit. I personally run my AR630TSS with 5.0 rinse nozzles and foam cannon orifice of 1.5mm. I haven’t gone over 14.4 amps with this setup and it runs great. You can get great foam or poor foam if you don’t use the right soaps.

      @@e.cabrera1861 As long as you use rinse nozzles 5.0 or bigger and a 1.25mm foam cannon orifice, you should be able to get by on a 15 amp circuit. But always check your breaker if it is indeed a 20 amp circuit or just a 20 amp outlet on a 15 amp circuit. As far as maintenance goes, I have changed the oil only once and seals are still good.
