It's about time you gave the AR630tss the credit it deserves! I remember buying mine years ago when all you did was shit on AR lmao. Little did you know, a powerhouse was in your midst!
I am a car detailing uk enthusiast. I work as a plumber: heating engineer. I absolutely love watching Mattys vids especially the home vlogs. It’s a shame OG doesn’t have a uk based store or I would have no money left every month . Keep up the great videos Craig
How exactly are you mounting feet to the underside of the AR630? Mine didn't come with any. Not sure what the thread pitch is either for longer bolts underneath. Update: for anyone reading this and wondering the same, it's M8 x 1.25 pitch coarse thread that you want. I used 1.5" long and some random bushings and washers I found at the hardware store. Worked great.
I went the other way. I bought the AR from you guys OG spec'ed and found a pressure washer cart. I had to drill holes in the mounting plate and used rubber washers to isolate it. There are not a lot of pressure washer carts available. In hindsight the one I bought has a very low handle so you can't stand upright when pulling it. For this reason I would not recommend this cart. You don't know what you don't know. It does have hose and wand holders.
This is the exact setup I plan to install in my garage soon......my only issue is that my OCD has a hard time getting past the different shades of blue between the CR, Prevost Pipe and the high pressure hose. LOL The purple shade to the AR doesn't help either.
I do have a question...Why the osmosis filtering system if your gonna wipe the vehicle after every wash in order to finish the detail process ? Just wondering ?
It's a deionizer, not RO. RO wouldn't completely remove the mineral content. For me, you are right, it is largely just a luxury. For those with poor water conditions, they can get spotting even when drying manually.
Hate to comment on a year-old video, but you still sell this as a package so I'm curious. Prevost lists this as compressed air piping and aluminum is more corrosive than copper. Or even PEX which could give you the same blue look with no corrosion. So what can we expect from a longevity and reliability perspective? It also seems aluminum would freeze at higher temps for those of us in more northern climates. I ask this as a fellow OG mindset curious to know why you chose this solution?
I am looking for a solution to do this same installation at home. but in France it is impossible to obtain such equipment without excessive shipping costs. I have a kranzle pressure washer. I am only missing 50 feet of mtm hydro kobra hose and a coxreels hose reel. Matt do you have any friends in Europe, so that I can place an order at a normal price? Thanks
Do you use the cr spotless with the ar pressure washer? I’m asking bc I just got mine but in the book the AR came with us says “deionized water will negatively affect the longevity of the seals and overall machine”
Mike F is the GOAT

I wish I had a friend like mike! The guy does everything on a different level, makes it look so easy ! Sucha handyman

I agree with you here. You need a uk shop
I’ll second that - a UK shop would have all my money
That garage was beautiful!
Nice job Matt and Mike!
You Did a great Job in this. The OG set up is amazing. 👏🏽👍🚘

Thanks for providing the hardware specs. He sells a kit for nearly $30. It's probably under $10 if you source the stuff on your own.
Looks awesome Matt !
i cant wait to get one of these systems!
I know what I want for Christmas!!
Great job Bud 👍👍Neat and tidy on the wall 😀😀
Beautiful install👊
Great video and products. Can we please get a horizontal dimension for the location of the water supply?
Water softener recommended!
great work Mike and Matt.....love watching the process even during the R&D

Same here. I went with the 36” x 24” Haulmaster from Harbor Freight with the Cox reel mounted on top and it’s served me well.
They built one for jay Leno’s shop in a previous video. Seemed to work well for them. Probably similar to what you did.
When will your version of the cr spotless be available. Anytime soon ?
What size elbow is the bottom? I guess it’s for the water hose and fitting.
1/2"
I really appreciate this video. Thank you so much!
Can you melt the unit directly to the wall with the inlet and outlet pointing down ?
Nice Job 👍

What’s the length from the center of the water inlet to the center line of the system?

Aluminum being leeched by DI would likely take 100 years.
I’m assuming this video’s original audio was not up to OG standards. Nonetheless Matt is still able to give us in depth quality content!
No, plan was to voice over this from the beginning.
Do you run hot water thru the setup or just cold? I’m asking bc I got all the stuff and I’m about to do the setup in my garage
You can do up to 140 degrees, just not through the DI system. I only have cold water as I"M in FL.

Great video.
I think I'm going to try and build one of these units. My job sells all these parts, and well...... I'm also the builder 😂😂
Give it a shot!
@ObsessedGarage heck yeah !! I mean, we are the main distributor for water filtration.
New E-36, E-92, M2 CS, GT-4, but we get more Home Depot commercials
???
Great video
