A Winning Pass for the New Holland Pro Stock!!

- It was a fun day at the Tobacco Town Showdown in Edgerton, Wisconsin for our pulling tractor team! After having our Pro Stock, the only New Holland Pro Stock in the U.S. - the T.8 Tomcat, completely tore apart to be fixed, we put it back together AND got a winning pass out of it.
Mason also didn't do too shabby on our Limited Pro, he built the road for a successful pull for others to go down.

Hello everyone, I have a couple of questions regarding the pulling tractor.
Is it hard on the engine to spray so much starting fluid even after it's running? Second, why does the engine surge the way it does after it's running rather than have a smooth idle?
I'm just curious, and I really don't know the answers to those questions.

Those track organizers really need to get a sheeps foot packer instead of those rubber tire asphalt packers to harden up the track

Why do you need so much ether to start the pulling tractors?
@stevenzimmerman4901 @lindanelson8400 The diesel pullers run a low compression engine.. Engine compression heats the air hot enough to ignite the injected diesel fuel. With the lower compression, diesel fuel has trouble igniting in the cylinder. This is why you see many of the diesel puller engine start with LOTS of ether assist. Thanks - gonzo 1066

any one talk to vp about the fuel being like this i have used vp fuel for lots of things and still use vp oil for all my 2 stroke stuff all this cheap ass fuel vp has a great 2 stroke oil to keep from washing the cyclinder down and keep them running how ever i have not used diesel from vp
