I have watched tractor pulling for about 50 years and this is the first time that anyone has explained the engine and how everything goes goes together. Thank you. I sure enjoy your videos.
Thank you very much!
Great job getting the boys to actually sit down and talk about everything without the usual snarky fun. You must have bribed them with Culvers. Good Luck.
Right 😂 thanks!
Loved The Video!! Thanks!!
Keep Smiling On!!
😅👍👊❤️
Thank you! You too!
Love how open you people are about your tractors, not afraid to to show things. Good luck at Louisville
Thanks 👍
Another great video, thanks for explaining the components of your tractor. Very interesting.
Glad you enjoyed it
Good video! Thanks for all the info!
Any time!
Love videos like this, I love learning new things!!😎
More to come!
Great video. Love the explanation of the tractor. Avary and mason seem very knowledgeable and great to hear this explained
Glad you enjoyed it
Best of luck next week. Can't wait to see your next broadcast !! Safe Travels
Thanks so much!
Thanks for sharing the livestream! I didnt know that was an option. Wish i could be there thursday to meet you guys and see the tractor but gotta work and pay the bills! Goodluck!
Next time!
Thank you so much I’ve really enjoyed finding your channel it’s really great and fun watching the family, and what everyone in the group is doing and has done ✅ Great job 👏 and on something other than green LOL as I was on many different colors growing up red, yellow, orange and Oliver green 1855 that might have dated me 😂
Our pleasure!
Can’t wait to show your Chanel to my son!
He LOVES tractors but in the Northeast we mostly run trucks.
Good luck at NFMS!!
Awesome! Thank you!
good luck to you at the pull.... have fun at the meet and greet .. there will be a lot of famous you tube farmers at the show , maybe they will be lucky enough to meet Emily and her boys.
Thanks!
I never knew that about the Deere pattern motors in different color tractors. Very informative. Thank you all.
Our pleasure!
I've watched tractor pulls for years but only from the stands. It'd be fun to be at Louisville. Maybe nest year! It's an interesting hobby. Good Luck
Sounds great!
So cool! I love watching truck and tractor pulling and I am always interested in how you get so much HP from them. Thank you and good luck!
Thanks for watching!
Easy as hell to make power. Making it stay together is another thing
That is a Fluidampr lol. Yes I was at Ship lol. Be at Louisville next week. Good luck 👍🏼
Thanks! You too!
Thanks for sharing all the info and Emily thanks for squeezing it out of them😂😂😂 good stuff
Any time!
Interesting video Emily, keep them coming.
Thank you! Will do!
good luck guys and gal
Thanks!
Good luck next week. It would be great to be able to be there to meet you guys.
Can't wait!
Good job explaining your engine.
Thanks 👍
Love your videos as always. I wish I could come to the Farm Machine Show sometime. My question is and I think I have ask it before but why does it take so much starting fluid to get pulling tractor engines running. Thanks and good luck in Louisville.
Because they’re decompressed and when they’re cold they won’t build compression
Great video and Mason looks so clean cut!
Right!!
Very informative . Can you explain everything back from the fly wheel to the rear rims . Who makes the rims ? How does the clutch last multple pulls ? Who makes the diffs ? As the block is billet based on a Deere design I would class it as a custom block . Surely the cranks could not be standard , details on that too please . All I know about the start is the turbo spools up to pressure then the pull starts , explain what the driver is doing with the controlls to get the optimum start please .
Well have to do another video to explain all this!
Love your videos
Thank you!
Another good video Do you ever plan on going to Bowling Green ? We can't make Lousville I will root for Gregi unless Stress case & Nut case are there !!!
Our hometown pull is the same weekend as bowling green so we stay home
Great video guys!
Thanks so much!
Hopefully I will see you Thursday
Yay!
You guys need to pull at the Elkhart county fair 2nd largest fair,Goshen IN. July 24, 25
We have local pulls then!
It's lou ville not loueeville. Cool video, Greg from Kentucky.
Thanks!
Found your video on the pulling tractors very well done and interesting one question I have is why these engines always need either to start and even after starting?
Because they need to build compressjon’
Good luck in Louisville next week.
Thanks!
Good luck guys but wacth out for those Nebraska tractors we got a new holland dealer by us the run one in super farm class not sure if they will be there this year I think they were there last year
Well look out for them!!
If y'all ever get a chance to go to bowling Ohio go to that one that is one of the largest outdoor pulls in the world there were 69000 people last year it is towards the end of August if y'all get a chance
It’s at the same time as our hometown pull so we stay home
We used to use orange fill epoxy to fill all the water jackets of the stock blocks
Cool!
if its a Lemke it is a steel billet 466 jd at 640 cubic inch from what i read, the turbo is limited to 6 inch on the exhaust side and whatever it can turn on the intake
It’s Lemke
Why do you call it Tomcat? and I love the Star and Bars. Thanks for showing under the hood that's where all the actions at.
I think it’s from the cartoon
Because of the Tomcat navy fighter jet!
@@NewAgeCustomFarming That's what I thought it maybe was, Very cool, love the F14.
do ever go to the grand national pull in iona michigan?
No we stay local
Wondered, what region of compression ratio does it run, and boost figures ? Interesting you use the water to slow the turbo?!
Not sure on compression but it’s 100+ lbs of boost
from the way i understand it the euro prostocks weigh right at 8000 pounds and 510 cubic inches which to me from what i know is like a light limited prostock
Yes
Nice tractor guys
Thanks 👍
someone hoodwinked the NTPA into letting in the 619 bb jd engine in even thou it was not a direct replacement like the 466 IH engine for the 1066 etc
We pull with PPL so I don’t pay much attention to NTPAs rules and what’s going on there
Oh hell yea!!
Thanks for watching!
Is there a plate between the head and block ? Is that so you can reach a bigger CI?
Yes
ever go to tractor pull in rock valley iowa?
The Tomcat doesn't fit the Outlaw Pro Stock rule set. The Thunder Chicken fits in the 4.1 class, though! (Hint hint...we'd love to see you guys out there sometime!)
We do the badger state circuit!
Dude in the black hoodie had to step up and put his face in the shot he couldn't help himself had to do it. Lol
😂
Do you guys come to East like Connecticut or New York
No we staynlocal
Since Mason won at Shipshewana, is he going to pull the pro stock at Louisville?!?!
I should - Mason
European Pro-stocks are 510 CID but they make the same or even more HP per CID.
Hmmmm
The one that just won . Keep the hot hand 🖐🏽
Yes!
So what makes it a New Holland? The chassis? Or just the blue and the logo?
The guards and body work look like New Holland , think of it like nascar . The body shape looks like a passager car but the two cars do not not share any parts
Everything else is custom
Be cool to see a NH with a NH. But, I don't think even with deck plate 680 with the 474 (7.8L "Brazilian") is possible? Room in the base for the crank needed?
Anyhow.
But we CAN Do 540 "Light Pro". Maaaaybe 640 for 4.1 Pro?
There are a few light pros out there
How big is the turbo on the tomcat
6
There is another new holland pro stock in the netherlands called wicky power its a tm190 hood.
And in europe its not allowed to drive an engine from another brand under the hood which means that if you have a new holland hood you must drive with a original new holland engineblock, also we must drive with the original cilinder head. Except these rules everything in the engine can be changed. Bigger sleeves, pistons etc. A prostock in europe weighs 3,5 tonnes
And what about Rough and tumble, bredahl brothers red line, stars and stripes and Murdock.
@@Rvaatje yes they also
In the U.S. they would be in a different class - not the same as this one! And all other classes you have to match the block with the hood, but in order to have a variety in pro stock you can do what we do
What oil do you run in the Tomcat. Weight and type?
Schaefers
Pat Hack...always startin' trouble. 😂
True!!
In case I missed it what's the compression ratio for the engine?
Good question 😂
That has to be the biggest turbo I have ever seen
Pretty big!
So where do you buy that kind of motor. And that pump what brand is that.
Lemkie Motorsports and it’s a wimer fuel system
Why do you wrap the tires in plastic? I missed your answer.
Because someone started doing it years ago so now everyone does it 😂 no good reason
Do the Massey v8 guys use an aftermarket block?
For what class?
@@NewAgeCustomFarming prostock
Yes
What kind of oil do you use
Schaefers
Do you pull in Michigan
Nope!
How many rpm does it turn off the line?
5000
Where did the name T8 Combat come from???
From the army!
The European rules in a nutshell is 530cui and up until 24 no recast or billet blocks and heads. Pumps and turbo size is free. Component tractors allowed and the engine has to to be build by the manufacturer at one point, so no jd in an ford for example.
The Dutch wich run the biggest Pro Stock class in Europe have limited the Turbo to 5in inlet nowadays.
Thanks
European rules state that pro stock is only 510 CI.
Yes
In the netherlands is also a new holland pro stock so this is nog the only wone
They don’t have the same rules / aren’t the same soze
How much does it cost to buildup an engine and a tractor?
A lot…
why not use a 5.9 or 8.3 Cummins engine
Because they don’t make enough reliable power
Lempke = $$$$$$$$
Wymer = $$$$$$$$
John Deere in a Blue Wrapper = Priceless!
😂
Surely if it has a Deere engine then it’s a Deere !! #justsaying 😮
Technically it’s a custom fabricated block modeled after a Deere
Totaly not the only prostock nh prostock in the world
It is when it comes to the requirements to be a pro stock in the U.S.
who built the engine
Lemke
Very Nice Tractor, but it is NOT the Only New Holland Pro Stock in the World. There are many in Europe. And these even use real New Holland Engines.
Yeah but do they meet the requirements to be actual pro stocks in the us?
@@NewAgeCustomFarming they would be allowed to Run in the Class, but I think European Pro Stocks have slightly less displacement
👍👍👏👏👏👏👏✌️💪🚜io
👍🏻
WARPATH
👍🏻
No Argument here 😅
😂
You are not the only newholland prostock team in the world sorry ! The bleu hazard team and wicky power in the netherlands are also newholland prostocks
But they don’t have the same rules as our pro stocks! They’d be better in a different class here
European tractors use smaller engines
Yes
WARPATH and TRAILBLAZER don't run JD.
What class?
why don't you guy be rebels and just don't rap your tiers in plastic rap if it doesn't do crap?
I tried to convince them we should do that - they don’t listen
Motor motor motor. So it's electric
Noo
If it should be an new holland, it shouldnt have a john deere engine🙈
Make us a new holland block and all the parts we need then! 😂

(KJV 2 Corinthians 6:14) "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”
@NewAgeCustomFarming
So by not having or using an engineblock from new holland (CNH), or not even an new holland style engine, you can not call it the "only" new holland prostock in the world... And you can not just say the world because you americans think you are the best... think when eruope have the same rules across different countries the "prostock" you run over there can't be classified as an prostock...
Butthurt are we??
What class would we be in then if it’s built exactly like this? And technically the block is custom fabricated modeled after a Deere
@@NewAgeCustomFarming any class (besides modified) you have to run a oem block.. in other words, we don’t have classes for bs
I mean you’re kinda right but at the same time it’s the same exact thing as building a promod with a carbon body and saying you have the fastest Camaro
I am a farmer from Poland who builds a tractor for Tractor Pulling. I'm the first in the country to do it. I find construction knowledge when I go to the Netherlands for TractorPulling and RUclips USA. Thank you for these videos. my yt channel Agrosaw Róg
Thanks for sharing
It’s like nascar most of all the cars run Chevy engines
Exactly
@NewAgeCustomFarming IN @NewAgeCustomFarming WE TRUST💜🖤!!!! LOVE YOU, GUYS AND YOUR VIDEOS ALSO!!!!!
