That is the most beautiful luggage I've ever seen! I've got a retro cottage vibe going on in my house, refrigerator included, so this was me the minute I saw it! Add to it the trunk feature and the cover and I am so sold!!
Such a cute piece. I love how it doesn’t look like other typical trunk luggage. And thoughtful design with the side handle and wheels not taking up a lot of internal space. Plus the fact it comes with a luggage cover is a bonus. I only wish the left side of the inside wasn’t just that hook cover. That’s where I like the monos better because that left side is a zipper enclosure. But this is a unique and slightly more affordable option which is always great.

I like youtubers who make videos based on subscriber feedback and suggestions. I have another suggestion for a video: packing and luggage tips for new travelers on a budget. I know many people (including myself) that can not afford the more expensive brands and shop at places such as TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington, Ross, Walmart, Target and thrift stores. Maybe you can make a video (without getting kicked out) of you going to these places and giving your opinion on discounted luggage/travel items that may give us the most bang for our buck. You could even make this into a budget series. 😁
Thank you so much! Your comment made my day. I’ve always wanted to go to stores and do that, but I actually started reviewing luggage because of my experiences with buying from those types of stores. For about 6 years, I traveled consistently and every other trip, my suitcase would break, whether it was a zipper, wheel, or shell. So I started buying better luggage, at least with warranties, because my 8-12 pieces of luggage at 60-80$ a piece is quite a cost when you add it all together. So if I make those, keep that in mind :) I do like some from Target though! That one will be coming soon :)
I got Heys earthtone per your recommendation, and just got back from a 2 week trip with it - loved it! But now I love this one! It looks so amazing...sigh...not enough trips to justify all this luggage!🤣

I absolutely love the seagreen! The compression is amazing! I would definitely consider getting this luggage. The one concern is that it’s glossy and can scratch easily. Would like an update if it does and how it performed for you. Thanks!
I received mine yesterday in the dark slate which is really a dark green. What I HATED about it was the clear plastic film on it, peeling it off for the most part was easy but it is under the corner bumpers and wheels. When I peeled off the plastic and took extra time around those parts just mentioned it would tear and leave a nasty looking frayed edge to the left over pieces of plastic. I spend an hour removing all 4 corner and all 4 wheels, so I could remove this extra plastic. Prior to doing so it looks bad because of my dark case. On the other hand my wife got the coconut white color so for her it was not an issue as the little bit of plastic almost matched her case color.
I ordered it in Canada using your code - just as a heads up they do have import fees here that are not mentioned anywhere on shipping - I only found out when UPS said I owe them for it. They actually advertise free shipping - but in the FAQ section of the website it says there MIGHT be an import fee.
I love it! Like the sea green & the slate gray. Would you travel with the cover on it or just use that when storing the piece...sounds like a dumb question 🤔 Thanks for the review! Seriously thinking about purchasing this...I have a Travel Pro carry on that I'm not too crazy about. 😊
Good question. For me being a reviewer, I wouldn’t, just to test it, but I suggest having it in the bag if it gets checked. Otherwise I would hate to hide its beauty while wheeling through the airport
Do you think it could survive being checked? I'd really like to check it coming back from Maui so I don't have to deal with it on a red eye with a connection in SEA. I do have a second bag cover with a double layer and elastic bottom as well as a zipper for it. I'm not worried about scratches obviously. Would it be destroyed by the airline, is the question.

Love the wet bag but not that its not detachable😢 And could just one luggage company out there get rid of that dingy zipper pouch or at least make it detachable with snaps to put anywhere else but in that ridiculous unpractical spot and in different padded/wet bag material and sizes (for jewelry, money, cables)? It's 2024 come on companies!!?

The lightest suitcase is the July light at only 4 pounds but it is considerably smaller than others, they have an expandable one too. The quince carry on and they heys airlite are also light and expandable

I just don’t understand why companies are making their carryon bags over the prescribed 22” x 14” x 9”? Great review. Love the bag. Don’t love the dimensions or weight. Have you tried the Voyageur in the metal sizing guides at the airport? Very interested to see what that looks like.
I have become a luggage aficionado and the thing that sticks out with me is that when #Level8Luggage first appeared on my radar they had a very wide telescoping handle so that the mechanism would be on the sides and not running through the center of the luggage hold. I can only assume there were issues with this and that's why they're handles are just like every other handle out there now but I must say I'm disappointed. I'm not one for handles or wheels as they do cut into my packing space and add weight but I do like the polycarbonate shell on this bag and of course it is zipperless! I will admit I cringed at the locking mechanism for the latches as I have found with all of my travel gear that simple is always better I wonder if that could get jammed or otherwise cause a problem mid-trip. Hopefully this is well-designed and would never develop issues. If it holds up it's even a great theft deterrent! This looks like a very good generation of their trunk. Bravo! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
I have thought about that wide handle, but no trolley sleeve would go over it, so it wouldn't work for me - maybe they are making some each way for that reason? just a random thought!

It comes with a plastic bag cover. But if you plan to check it I'd advise you get a better one.

This one is definitely smaller than the voyageur, but no I haven’t. One airline yelled at us a lot last time so we haven’t done it since

Yeah but it’s rare to find one less than that. If you want a trunk, there will always be a weight issue.
